Claims (8)

  1. Apparatus for controlling the closing sequence of double wing doors comprising a standing wing (2) cooperating with a top mounted closer (12) and a passage wing (3) cooperating with a top mounted closer (13) and a blocking device (50); a control means with a positioning member (35) cooperating with the standing wing (2) or a part connected therewith and controlling the blocking device (50), and a transmission member connecting the positioning member with the blocking device (50), the transmission member having a Bowden cable (30) with a core (31) and a sleeve (32), with the core (31) being fixedly clamped to the positioning member (35) or to a part connected therewith; and with the sleeve (32) being fixed relative to the frame (45),

    characterised in that the sleeve (32) is secured in the region of a rail (23, 24) mountable on the frame and in which a slide arm (13b, 13c) driven from the closer (13) of the passage wing (3) is guided;

    in that the core (31) has a long free end which projects out of the sleeve (32) which can be clampingly secured with a section of variable length to the positioning member (35);

    and in that the positioning member is arranged in the region of a rail (22) mountable to the frame in which is guided a closer arm (12b, 12c) driven by the closer (12) of the standing wing.
  2. Apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the Bowden cable (30) is arranged in a housing (18, 22 o) which receives the one and the other of the rails (22, 23).
  3. Apparatus in accordance with claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that one of the rails, preferably the rail (23) of the passage wing closer (13) has a customary length, and the other rail (22) is made so long that it adjoins the one rail (23).
  4. Apparatus in accordance with claim 3, characterised in that the other rail (22) can be manufactured from a rail blank which can be cut to length.
  5. Apparatus in accordance with claim 4, characterised in that the rail blank (22) can be cut to length at one end (24) and in that the rail blank (22) has mounting holes (22a, 22b) with a customary hole pattern with reference to its other end.
  6. Apparatus in accordance with claim 4 or claim 5, characterised in that the rail (23) associated with the closer arm (13b, 13c) of the passage wing closer (13) has a customary length and has a mounting device (45) for the sleeve (32); and in that the rail (22) associated with the closer arm (12b, 12c) of the standing wing closer (12) can be manufactured from the rail blank which can be cut to length and has the positioning member (35) and the clamping means (40) for the core (31).
  7. Apparatus in accordance with one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the positioning member (35) has a rotatably journalled part (38) which, on being loaded by the standing wing (12) or by an actuating member (12c) connected to the latter urges the transmission member (30, 31) in the opposite direction.
  8. Apparatus in accordance with claim 7, characterised in that the positioning member (35) has two sliders (36, 37) which are coupled motionwise via the rotatably journalled part (38); and in that the rotatably journalled part is formed as a pinion which meshes with a toothed arrangement (36a, 37a) at the opposite sides of the sliders (36, 37).
