Abstract
Claims (3)
- Procédé pour le formage à froid de tuyaux ou de raccords de tuyau selon lequel un tuyau ou un raccord de tuyau est introduit dans une matrice, et selon lequel sont formées deux cloisons reliées qui s'étendent radialement (22, 22a) - c'est-à-dire perpendiculairement à l'axe (X-X) du tuyau ou du raccord de tuyau - ensuite des forces importantes sont appliquées agissant radialement vers l'intérieur sur des zones (10) attenantes auxdites cloisons radiales (22, 22a), lesdites zones étant attenantes aux extrémités les plus radialement extérieures desdites cloisons radiales qui sont supportées intérieurement, caractérisé en ce que lesdites cloisons radiales (22, 22a) ont au moins un côté non supporté et en ce que les forces de réaction auxdites forces radiales appliquées sont fournies au moyen desdites cloisons radiales (22, 22a), la base de chaque cloison radiale étant supportée par un support intérieur (30), lesdites cloisons radiales agissant comme seul moyen pour contrer ces forces, le rapport de la hauteur à l'épaisseur desdites cloisons radiales étant tel que leur charge limite de flambage soit inférieure à la combinaison de la contrainte de flexion et de la contrainte de compression.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que pendant l'application desdites forces radiales, la matrice (20, 20a) est libre de se déplacer axialement.
- Appareil pour le formage à froid d'un tuyau ou d'un raccord de tuyau comprenant une matrice (20, 20a) capable de former deux cloisons radiales (22, 22a) sur le tuyau ou sur le raccord de tuyau ; un élément de mise en forme (40) prévu pour agir successivement, suivant une direction sensiblement radiale, sur une zone (10) attenante aux cloisons radiales (22, 22a) ; un support interne (30), qui peut être introduit dans le tuyau ou dans le raccord de tuyau à former, et qui supporte intérieurement la base des cloisons radiales (22, 22a), caractérisé en ce que la matrice comprend deux parties opposées (20, 20a) qui sont mobiles seulement axialement et sont libres de se déplacer lorsque l'élément de mise en forme (40) vient en contact avec ladite zone (10), l'élément de mise en forme étant capable d'agir radialement vers l'intérieur pour exécuter l'opération de formage.
