Claims (3)

  1. Verfahren zum Kaltformen von Rohren oder Rohr-Anschlußstücken, dem gemäß ein Rohr oder ein Rohr-Anschlußstück in ein Gesenk eingesetzt und zwei sich radial erstreckende, untereinander verbundene Wände (22, 22a) - nämlich senkrecht zu der Achse (X-X) des Rohres oder des Rohr-Anschlußstücks - geformt werden, dann im wesentlichen radial einwärts wirkende Kräfte auf Zonen (10) aufgebracht werden, die den radialen Wänden (22, 22a) benachbart sind, wobei die Zonen benachbart zu den radial äußersten Enden der radialen Wände sind, die von innen unterstützt werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die radialen Wände (22, 22a) mindestens eine Seite nicht unterstützt haben und daß die Reaktionskräfte zu den aufgebrachten radialen Kräften mit Hilfe der radialen Wände (22, 22a) geliefert werden, wobei die Basis einer jeden radialen Wand durch eine innere Abstützung (30) unterstützt ist, die radialen Wände als einzige Mittel im Gegensatz zu diesen Kräften wirken und das Verhältnis Höhe/Dicke der radialen Wände so ist, daß die Ausknickgrenzbelastung niedriger ist als die kombinierte Biege- und Kompressionsspannung.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß während der Anwendung der radialen Kräfte das Gesenk (20, 20a) frei ist, sich axial zu bewegen.
  3. Vorrichtung zum Kaltformen eines Rohres oder eines Rohr-Anschlußstücks, die ein Gesenk (20, 20a), das in der Lage ist, zwei radiale Wände (22, 22a) auf dem Rohr oder dem Rohr-Anschlußstück zu bilden; ein Formungsteil (40), das vorgesehen ist, um nachfolgend in einer im wesentlichen radialen Richtung auf eine Zone (10) benachbart zu den radialen Wänden (22, 22a) zu wirken, eine innere Abstützung (30), die in das zu formende Rohr oder das Rohr-Anschlußstück eingeführt werden kann und das von innen die Basis der radialen Wände (22, 22a) unterstützt, aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Gesenk zwei gegenüberliegende Teile (20, 20a) aufweist, die lediglich axial beweglich sind und frei sind, sich zu bewegen, wenn der Formungsteil (40) in Kontakt mit der Zone (10) kommt, wobei das Formungsteil in der Lage ist, radial einwärts zu wirken, um die Formungstätigkeit durchzuführen.
