A fuse switch of this type is known from FR-A-2 499 763. This fuse switch contains a fuse plug which receives a fuse, the contact caps of which, in an switched-on position, are in contact with contacts fastened in the housing when the fuse plug assumes a position parallel to the upper side of the switch housing. The fuse plug is provided on both sides with trunnions, which are arranged in longitudinally extending recesses on the inner walls of the switch housing and extend perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the switch housing in the direction of its opening. In the switched-on position, a leaf spring rests on the longitudinal side of the fuse plug running inside the switch housing, the other end of which is fastened in the switch housing. When the fuse plug is rotated into a switch-off and removal position of the fuse plug, the fuse plug must be pivoted by 90 ° against the force of the leaf spring into this switch-off position by means of a handle connected to it, so that the upper front end of the fuse plug and the fuse arranged therein are in front of the The opening of the switch housing. To remove the fuse, the fuse plug must be pulled through the housing opening by the length that corresponds to the length of the elongated recesses in which the bearing plug of the fuse plug can be moved and rotated.

The invention has for its object to ensure a precise fixation of the pivot point for the safety plug.

The invention solves this problem in that the contact blades are aligned at a distance parallel to the inner walls of the housing, the front contact blade protruding through a cutout in the front wall of the fuse plug, while the rear contact blade from the frame of the fuse plug is surrounded, the side wall of which in the area of this rear contact knife has an opening for the engagement of the upper housing contact in the switched-on position of the fuse plug.

If a fuse switch with a fuse plug is used, in which fuse inserts with contact caps can be used, it is advisable to provide the fuse plug with contact blades that are in a conductive connection with the contact caps of the fuse insert inserted in the fuse plug.

An advantageous further development of the invention also consists in a coupling piece which is pivotably guided on the opposite inner walls of the housing with circular-shaped guide grooves on guide elements designed as strips. This coupling piece can be coupled to the coupling piece of one or more adjacent safety switches by a coupling device, so that a multi-pole safety switch is created. In addition, the coupling piece can be positively connected to the fuse plug in the pivoting direction, so that when the fuse plug is actuated, the coupling piece and possibly other coupling pieces connected to it can be pivoted together as part of a multi-pole fuse switch unit.

Another particularly expedient embodiment of the invention consists in arranging a longitudinally displaceable protective plate on the coupling piece, which rests with its upper end under the pretension of a spring on the underside of the edge of the insertion opening and, as an actuation lock, covers the upper housing contact at a slight distance, but by means of a driving element of the fuse plug can be moved into the end position of the fuse plug when the plug is moved into the housing until the upper housing contact is released.

This ensures that when the fuse plug is removed, the upper switching contact is completely covered by the protective plate towards the insertion opening of the housing and is protected against contamination or contact, while the protective plug of the protective plate clears the pivoting path into the switched-on position.

Furthermore, the coupling piece can cooperate with a locking device, by means of which the securing plug can be locked in its on position and off position. As a result, an always perfectly aligned position of the protective plate which is slidably mounted on the coupling piece is achieved.

The fuse plug 36 essentially encloses the fuse link 37 like a frame. In this case, the securing plug 36 lies with the narrow sides 42a, 42b of its frame 42 on the housing inner walls 38, 39 of the housing 31 and with its front wall 44 on an arc-shaped guide element 40, 41, which extends inwards from the parallel inner walls 38, 39 lying opposite one another project at a distance from one another and with its rear wall 45 on the underside of the end wall 47 of the housing 31 surrounding the insertion opening 46. As a result, the switch housing 31 can be made relatively narrow, the housing itself, with the exception of the removable fuse plug, not requiring any further moving parts for the switching movement thereof.

A latching device 48 is arranged in the housing 31, by means of which the securing plug 36 can be fixed in its insertion end position. The locking device 48 consists of an arranged on the inner wall 38 of the housing 31 Latching nose 49 which engages behind the narrow side 50 of the front wall 44 of the securing plug 36 shortly before reaching the insertion end position of the securing plug 36.

Das hintere Kontaktmesser 52 ist von dem Rahmen 42 des Sicherungsstöpsels 36 umgeben, dessen Seitenwand 54 im Bereich dieses Kontaktmessers 52 eine Öffnung 55 für den Eingriff des oberen Gehäusekontaktes 32 in der Einschaltstellung des Sicherungsstöpsels 36 aufweist.1, 3 and 4 in particular show that the fuse link 37 is provided at its ends with contact blades 51, 52 which, as can be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, are aligned at a distance parallel to the inner walls 38, 39 of the housing 31 are. The front contact knife 51 projects through a cutout 53 in the front wall 44 of the safety plug 36. The rear contact knife 52 is surrounded by the frame 42 of the fuse plug 36, the side wall 54 of which in the area of this contact knife 52 has an opening 55 for the engagement of the upper housing contact 32 in the switched-on position of the fuse plug 36.

In Fig. 4 it can be seen that in the switched-on position, the front contact blade 51 engages in an electrically conductive manner in the inner fork-shaped housing contact 33, while the rear contact blade 52 engages in the upper fork-shaped housing contact 32, which in this case engages in the opening 55 of the side wall 54 in the region of the engages the outer end of the fuse plug 36. The switch-on position of the security plug 36 is limited by the edge 47a of the end wall 47 at the insertion opening 46, which abuts the handle 36a of the security plug 36 in this position. Characterized in that only the front wall 44 and the rear wall 45 of the securing plug 36 rest against the circular-arc-shaped guide element 40 and 41 and on the underside of the end wall 47 of the housing 31 delimiting the edge of the insertion opening, and otherwise only the narrow sides 42a, 42b of the frame 42 on the inner walls of the two housing halves, which are parallel and spaced apart at a distance, hardly any significant frictional forces occur when the switch 30 is actuated. Nevertheless, an increase in frictional resistance when switching on noticeable when the contact blades 51, 52 of the fuse link 37 engage between the fork-shaped housing contacts 32, 33, which may be spread apart by the contact blades 51, 52 against the action of springs compressing the fork-shaped housing contacts.

In the second embodiment of a fuse switch 130 shown in FIGS. 7 to 12, a coupling piece 160 is provided, which is provided with circular arc-shaped guide grooves 161, 162 on the circular arc-shaped guide elements 140, 141 on the opposite inner walls 138, 139 of the housing 131 is pivotally guided. The coupling piece 160 can be connected to the coupling piece of at least one adjacent fuse switch of the same type by a coupling device 163. In the present exemplary embodiment, this coupling device 163 consists of a coupling pin 164 which projects from one side of the coupling piece 160 and projects outwards through a slot 165 in the associated housing wall 138. The same coupling piece 160 is arranged on the side coaxially opposite the coupling pin 164 with an engagement opening 166 for a corresponding coupling pin 164 of an adjacent safety switch 131a. Correspondingly, the coupling pin 164 of the coupling piece 160 can naturally engage in a corresponding engagement opening 166 of the coupling piece of an adjacent safety switch (not shown). In this way, a multi-pole fuse switch unit can be created with the aid of a plurality of fuse switches, in which the fuse plugs are connected to one another via the coupling pieces 160 and can be switched at the same time.

Although the coupling piece 160 is also entrained when the securing plug 136 is pivoted, the side wall 154 of the securing plug 136 is on the opposite one parallel to it 7 to 12 of the fuse switch 130, it is preferred that the coupling piece 160 is positively connected to the opposite side wall 154 of the fuse plug 136 facing the upper housing contact 132. This positive connection in the pivoting direction between the securing plug 136 and the coupling piece 160 consists of a dovetail-shaped tongue and groove connection 173 between the side wall of the securing plug 136 and a corresponding lateral extension 174 of the coupling piece 160. This ensures that the securing plug 136 when inserted into the housing 131, the dovetail-shaped groove 173a in the side wall 153 of the securing plug 136 engages over the shoulder 174 of the coupling piece 160 which is correspondingly designed in cross-section, so that the form-fitting pivot connection is inevitably produced when the securing plug 136 is inserted.

In addition, a protective plate 167 is mounted on the coupling piece 160 by means of a dovetail guide 197 so as to be longitudinally displaceable. The upper end 168 of the protective plate 167 lies under the pretension of a compression spring 169 arranged in the coupling piece 160 and supported on a web 160a of the protective plate 167 on the underside of the edge 170 of the insertion opening 146 and, as an actuation lock, covers the upper housing contact 132 at a slight distance . The protective plate 167 can be displaced by means of a driver element 171 of the securing plug 136 when it is pushed into the housing 131 until the upper housing contact 132 is released in the insertion end position of the securing plug 136. The driving element 171 is designed as a driving lug 172, which can be moved through a small cutout 170a of the edge 170 of the end wall 147 of the housing 131 and at the outer end 168 of the protective plate 167 when the securing plug is inserted 136 comes into contact with the housing 131. It is thus apparent from FIG. 7 that the contact piece 160 and the safety plug 136 are prevented from being switched on by the protective plate 167.

Dagegen liegt in der in Fig. 8 gezeigten Einschaltstellung der Griff 136a des Sicherungsstöpsels 136 unter der Wirkung der vorgespannten Feder 179 gegen den Rand der Einstecköffnung 146 an, so daß hierdurch die Einschaltstellung einwandfrei fixiert ist.7-12 also show that the coupling piece 160 is assigned a locking device 175, by means of which the securing plug 136 can be locked in its switched-on and switched-off positions via the coupling piece 160. The locking device 175 is composed of a tooth segment 176 which is provided on the outer surface of the coupling piece 160 and which interacts with a pinion 177. The pinion 177, which engages in corresponding openings 131a, 131b of the two side walls 131c, 131d of the housing 131 with shaft journals 177a, 177b, is provided between two pinion parts 177c, 177d with an eccentrically arranged pin 178 which, when the coupling piece 160 pivots over the toothed segment and pinion connection can be pivoted between two end positions, which correspond to the switch-on or switch-off position of the safety plug 136. Since the eccentric pin 178 is connected to one end of a tension spring 179, the other end of which is fixed to a pin 196 in the housing 131, the pinion 177 must overcome a dead center position of the pin 178 under the action of the spring 179 before the other end position is reached. As a result, the securing plug 136 in FIG. 7 assumes the switch-off position shown there as a result of the relaxed spring 179 with the coupling piece 160. In contrast, in the switch-on position shown in FIG. 8, the handle 136a of the securing plug 136 bears against the edge of the insertion opening 146 under the action of the prestressed spring 179, so that the switch-on position is thereby fixed properly.

Fig. 13 bis 15 zeigen einen Sicherungsstöpsel 136 für die in den Fig. 7 bis 12 gezeigte Ausführungsform eines Sicherungsschalters 131, wobei in diesen Sicherungsstöpsel 136 lediglich Sicherungssätze 137 einsetzbar sind, die mit Kontaktkappen 137a, 137b versehen sind, an deren Stirnseiten Kontaktmesser 151, 152 befestigt sind.13 to 15 show a fuse plug 136 for the embodiment of a fuse switch 131 shown in FIGS. 7 to 12, in which fuse plug 136 only fuse sets 137 can be used, which are provided with contact caps 137a, 137b, on the end faces of which contact blades 151, 152 are attached.

Dagegen ist in den Fig. 16 bis 18 ein Sicherungsstöpsel 136 dargestellt, an dessen vorderem und hinterem Ende jeweils Kontaktmesser 158, 159 befestigt sind, von denen das hintere unter der Wirkung einer gewendelten Blattfeder 180 steht, während das Kontaktmesser 159 am vorderen Ende des Sicherungsstöpsels 136 in diesem fest angeordnet ist.16 to 18, on the other hand, a securing plug 136 is shown, at the front and rear ends of which contact blades 158, 159 are fastened, the rear of which is under the action of a coiled leaf spring 180, while the contact blade 159 at the front end of the securing plug 136 is firmly arranged in this.

Im übrigen ist der Sicherungsstöpsel für das Zusammenwirken mit dem Kopplungsstück 160 bzw. der Schutzplatte 167 gleichartig ausgebildet.FIG. 17 shows a fuse link 137 provided with contact caps 156, 157, the contact caps 156, 157 of which in each case bear in an electrically conductive manner on the contact blades 158, 159 of the fuse plug 136. Otherwise, the securing plug for interacting with the coupling piece 160 or the protective plate 167 is of the same design.
