Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a control circuit for checking the automatic removal of a wrongly woven weft thread on weaving machines, in particular with pneumatic weft insertion.
In a known device, a wrongly woven-in weft thread in the form of a thread loop is removed, which is drawn off in the direction of the shed side by the subsequent weft insertion length. It is not possible to check the correct functioning of the various automatic processes. The defined sequence of the various processes is controlled by a cam system with associated electrical switches, which is connected to a power unit for the individual work processes for the automatic removal of the incorrectly woven-in weft. The entire sequence of control signals is generated without it being possible to check whether the incorrectly woven-in weft has been successfully removed has been. It is precisely this lack of control that is the main disadvantage of this facility. If the incorrectly woven-in weft has not been successfully removed, an error occurs in the fabric due to the repeatedly inserted weft. It is also disadvantageous that the correct position of the weft threads in the fabric cannot be checked during weaving. In the event of a faulty weft thread entry from the entry nozzle, in which the entire length of the weft thread is shifted towards the end of the shed, the weft monitor does not report an error, because he can only detect the presence or absence of the weft on the end of the shed, but not his possible adjustment. This disadvantage then leads to an error in the fabric being produced in the next turn when an incorrectly woven-in weft thread is removed.
The object of the invention is to remedy these disadvantages and to prevent defects in the tissue which, for. B. caused by incorrect removal of incorrectly woven wefts.
To solve this problem, it is proposed that an output of the weft monitor is connected to the input of a circuit for controlling the incorrect weft insertion, the output of which is connected to an input of an electrical control signal generator, and that a second output of the weft monitor is connected to the input of a circuit for checking the correct separation of the wrongly woven weft, the output of which is connected to an input of the generator of the control signals, and that an output of the weft monitor is connected to the input of a Circuit for checking the correct removal of the incorrectly woven weft is connected, the output of which is connected to an input of the generator of the control signals.
With this solution, errors in the textile material are avoided which result from faulty weft insertion with subsequent automatic removal of this incorrectly woven-in weft. As a result, time and energy losses are avoided, which previously occurred because the mechanical control pulse generator could not react to the faulty course of the automatic removal of the incorrectly woven-in weft.
Further special features and advantages of the invention can be found in the description of an exemplary embodiment of the control circuit and in the drawing, in which a control circuit is shown in the block diagram.
A loom 1 with pneumatic weft insertion is equipped with a control circuit for checking the automatic removal of a wrongly woven and / or incorrectly positioned weft thread. This circuit contains a weft monitor 2, each with a z. B. electro-optical sensor for the correct and for the incorrect weft insertion, which are suitably arranged on the shed page.
During weaving, the sensor for the correct weft insertion in the weft monitor 2 monitors whether the weft has been transported from the conveying air flow to the edge of the web in the intended manner. As soon as the registered weft thread has been detected by this sensor, the weft monitor 2 sends a corresponding signal via a
The
The circuit described for checking and controlling the automatic removal of a wrongly woven weft works as follows:
If, during the weaving process, the sensor for the correct weft thread entry associated with the weft guard 2 detects the absence of a weft thread, an electrical signal is sent from its
During the generation of the control signals, the
If, during the weaving process, the weft monitor 2 sends a signal from its
