Abstract

In a burner-heated apparatus with a heat exchanger (3) which is arranged in the waste gas guide (2) of the burner (1), which leads to a chimney (5) or similar waste gas take-off, and is flowed through by the waste gases of this burner (1), a portion, which can be selected as required, of the waste gases from the combustion chamber (8) is conducted directly into the chimney (5) or similar waste gas installation, in order that the temperature there is not allowed to fall below the dew point and as a result the formation of condensate is prevented.
