3. Press according to Claim 1, characterised in that the supporting plate (17) is on the one hand a support for the wiper strip (38) and on the other hand a support for a brush strip (33), the wiper strip (38) being arranged in front of the brush strip (33) with regard to the cleaning direction.

Press according to Claim 3, characterised in that the supporting plate (17) is formed like an angle section having a vertically running leg and a horizontally running leg, the wiper strip (38) being secured via screws (39) to the vertically running leg at the side remote from the sliding table (6), and the brush strip (33) being arranged so as to be adjustable in the vertical direction (20) on the side facing the sliding table (6).
5. Press according to Claim 4, characterised in that screws (29, 31) are inserted in the horizontally running leg (web 28) for adjusting the brush strip (33) with respect to the surface of the rail (8).
