  • the refrigerator further includes a terminal strip or box 8, an external power supply cable 9, a connection 10 leading from terminal strip 8 to compressor 2, and a number of connections 11, 12 leading from terminal strip 8 to other electrical components of the refrigerator.

  • the integrated strusture further includes an external portion 22 acting as a terminal strip.
  • the terminal strip is provided with external electric terminals 23 formed and arranged in the manner of connector contacts and adapted to have a complementary external connector connected thereto in a fully automatized operation.
  • the external portion of the integrated structure is not formed as a terminal strip, but rather as a cable clamping insert 24 conceived to retain the power supply and grounding cables of the compressor to be connected thereto by a conventional manual operation.
  • fig. 4 shows an exploded perspective view of the electromechanic components to be mounted on the compressor, specifically the mounting base 13, the module 26 composed of thermal protection device 21 and starter 20, the electric connector or terminal strip 23, and as an aletrnative to the latter, the cable clamping insert 24.
  • Figs. 5, 5a, 5b and 5c finally show various embodiments of mounting base 13 designed to offer maximum flexibility for mounting the electric components by modifying the shape and locations of the guides and mounting positions without however varying the location and the dimensions of the connection between mounting base 13 and compressor casing 14.
