Abstract

The hermetically enclosed compressor is devised for connection of the external terminal strip type and of the integrated terminal strip type by the same mounting element associated to two different integrated structures to be alternatively employed. The integrated structures cooperate with one and the same mounting base for mechanical and electrical connection to the compressor. A thermal protection device and a starter are integrated in a single module forming an integral part of said structure. The integrated structures differ from one another solely by the type of electric connector provided for external electric connection, in the form either of a terminal strip or of a cable clamping member.
