Auf den waagerechten Tragstäben derartiger Warenpräsen­tationsträger hängen die Verkaufspackungen hintereinander und werden der Reihe nach vom Interessenten entnommen, wobei jede Verkaufspackung von dem das ungewollte Herabfallen der Verkaufspackungen verhindernden hakenartigen Ende abgezogen werden muß. Da die Verkaufspackungen häufig nicht am vorde­ren Ende der Tragstäbe hängen, sondern wegen vorangegangener Entnahme von Verkaufspackungen mit Abstand zu diesem Ende angeordnet sind, ist das Entnehmen einer Verkaufspackung erschwert, weil der Entnehmende tiefer greifen muß, nämlich in den Präsentationsträger hinein, um die Verkaufspackung nach vorne zum hakenartigen Ende zu ziehen. Dieses Hervor­holen einer Verkaufspackung macht insbesondere dann Mühe, wenn mehrere Tragstäbe nebeneinander angebracht und mit Verkaufspackungen voll behängt sind. Das Nachvorneziehen der Verkaufspackungen erfolgt häufig in deren Schräglage, weil am unteren Teil angefaßt wird und der obere Teil nachgezogen werden muß. Derartige Verkantungen können dazu führen, daß der Aufhänger der Verkaufspackung ausreißt, weil er einen vergleichsweise großen Schlitz und einen nur schwach bemes­senen tragenden Bereich hat. Außerdem ist beim Entnehmen der Verkaufspackung vom hakenartigen Ende die Gefahr gegeben, daß der Aufhänger der Verkaufspackung ausreißt, weil die Verkaufspackung mit Schwung von hinten über das hakenartige Ende gezogen wird. Dies wird durch die Schrägstellung der Tragstäbe in gewissem Umfang gewährleistet. Da jedoch die hakenartigen Enden wegen der Gefahr des ungewollten Herab­fallens der Verkaufspackungen von den Tragstäben in der Regel besonders steil ausgebildet werden müssen, ist es von Bedeutung, daß den Verkaufspackungen ein besonderes Format gegeben wird, insbesondere für längliche Ware, wie Schuhsen­kel. Dieses Format wird allgemein als Querformat bezeichnet. Darunter wird verstanden, daß die aufgehängte Verkaufspackung breiter ist, als hoch. Die Schuhsenkel werden also nicht, wie bisher üblich, senkrecht in einer Blisterpackung angeordnet und mit einem schmalen aber hohen Rücken aufgehängt, son­dern horizontal. Der in den Fig. dargestellte Präsentationsträger 1 be­steht im wesentlichen aus einer Halterung 2, an der vor­springende Tragstäbe 3 angebracht sind. Die Halterung 2 ist ein Drahtgestell mit Vertikalstäben 10, die durch paarweise im Abstand zueinander und zu benachbarten Stäben angeordnete Querstäbe 11 miteinander verbunden sind. An den Querstäben 11 sind die Tragstäbe 3 mit abgewinkelten Enden 12 befestigt, und zwar derart, daß die abgewinkelten Enden 12 in einer Ebene mit den Vertikalstäben 10 angeordnet und an der vom frontseitigen Betrachter aus gesehenen Rückseite der Quer­stäbe 11 liegen. Gemäß Fig. 2 sind mehrere Verkaufspackungen 4 hintereinan­der auf einem Tragstab 3 angeordnet und liegen so aneinander, daß sie gemeinsam auf die Rückseite der vordersten Verkaufs­packung drücken. Dieses Nachvornedrücken der ersten Verkaufs­packung wird auch durch die von vorne gesehen zweite Verkaufs­packung 4′ gefördert, welche sich gemäß Fig. 2 mit ihrem Aufhänger 7 auf der Abschrägung 9 des Tragstabs 3 befindet und selbst von allen weiteren Verkaufspackungen 4 beauf­schlagt wird. Es ergibt sich die aus Fig. 2 ersichtliche bedeutende Schräganordnung der ersten Verkaufspackung 4. Gemäß Fig. 1 hat die Verkaufspackung 4 ein Querformat. Das heißt, ihre Breite b ist wesentlich größer, als ihre Rücken­höhe H. Um eine solche Verkaufspackung 4 sicher schrägstel­lungsfrei aufzuhängen, also möglichst exakt horizontal, ist der Abstand der Drähte 10 des Tragstabs 3 voneinander vergleichsweise groß, und zwar etwa gleich der Höhe h des Verpackungsbereichs, in dem die Ware, nämlich ein Paar Schuhsenkel 5 horizontal angeordnet sind.
