Für die Herstellung solcher Gewindegangabschnitte muß eine Vorrichtung mit Spezialwerkzeugen verwendet werden, was die Produktion sehr verteuert. Beim Festschrauben der Skibindung werden die buchsenförmigen Halteelemente deformiert und haben somit keinerlei Wirkung mehr, falls es notwendig sein sollte, die Skibindung vom Ski abzunehmen und neu zu montieren.
