Definitions
- an oscillating shaft is provided, on which the lifting knives of a set are articulated individually, whereby an individual adjustment and a simple individual exchange is possible.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a double-stroke open-pocket jacquard machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
Jacquard machines of this type are widely known. Various types of training have recently been specified for jacquard machines of this type, by means of which the working speed, i.e. the number of subject changes per unit of time can be increased. The specialist positions are changed by moving lifting knives between a low and a high position under pattern-controlled, i.e. optional, take of boards or not. The lifting knives of a lifting knife set are conventionally arranged in a respective knife frame or knife bar, which is moved by a gear between the two specialist positions, as a rule up and down, which results in extremely high loads and thus high wear during the entire specialist stroke. The arrangement of beams, knives and gears must therefore be very rigid and therefore has a high mass. This can cause vibrations at high working speeds (high speeds of the drive motor). In addition, the two knife frames or knife bars must be moved in opposite directions without being allowed to interfere with each other. This creates additional design difficulties.
These disadvantages are not only present in conventional jacquard machines in which the lifting knives run in the weft direction, but also in jacquard machines in which the lifting knives run in the warp direction (cf. DE-PS 25 33 216). In the latter case, there is the additional disadvantage that there are different points of attack when forming the inclined compartment and using a common gear, so that the loads at high working speeds have an even more unfavorable effect due to different distribution.
Proceeding from this, it is an object of the invention to design a double-stroke open pocket jacquard machine of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the necessary mass is reduced with a more favorable structural design.
The object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The invention is further developed by the features of the subclaims.
It is essential for the present invention that an oscillating shaft is provided, on which the lifting knives of a set are articulated individually, whereby an individual adjustment and a simple individual exchange is possible. The oscillating shaft itself is moved by a gear mechanism which is relatively easy to form and which causes the oscillating movement. It is essential that the parts causing the movement of the lifting knives are no longer arranged in a frame with a high mass, but are articulated on an oscillating shaft that can be supported in the machine frame. In particular, if oscillating shafts are provided on both sides of the jacquard machine, ie assigned to the two ends of the lifting knives, jacquard machines of very large dimensions can be created, since the oscillating shafts can be supported in a simple manner and the knives can also have a comparatively large length, since they are in Direction of their longitudinal extent in the machine frame to avoid twisting or deflection can be performed. The design according to the invention also enables simple maintenance and readjustment, since only a change in the gearbox, preferably only the exchange of an eccentric, is required to change the specialist stroke, and for the fine adjustment only a shift in part of a clamping device carrying the lifting knife is required.
Fig. 1 zum Maschinenrahmen.
- 1 in side view without machine frame, the basic principle of the jacquard machine according to the invention,
- Fig. 2 in front view simplifies the assignment of the jacquard machine acc. Fig. 1 to the machine frame.
The invention is explained on the basis of a double-stroke open-pocket jacquard machine with lifting knives running in the warp thread direction and with inclined pocket formation. However, the invention is also applicable to those jacquard machines in which the lifting knives run in the weft direction and in which no inclined pocket but a straight pocket is formed, that is to say for each jacquard machine in which two sets of lifting knives are moved between two specialist positions, with reference to the training the intervention between the lifting knife and the circuit boards and whether the circuit boards are actuated in the high or low position does not matter.
In a machine frame 1, which is not shown in FIG. 1 and which is to be connected to the rest of the weaving machine, two sets of
The lifting knives 2 of the first set and the
Each lifting knife is connected at its ends via a respective lever arrangement to a movement device which is common to all lifting knives of the same set.
The right end 9 of the lifting knife 2 in FIG. 1 is connected via a lever arrangement 10 to a clamping device 11 which is fixed to an oscillating
The right end 17 of the
Each set of lifting knives is thus connected to a pair of oscillating shafts at both ends via a respective set of lever arrangements such that a pivoting movement of the oscillating shafts achieves a corresponding lifting movement of the lifting knives.
In order to achieve an equally stable position for all
To transmit the oscillating movement of the respective oscillating
As shown in FIG. 2, the oscillating
Each oscillating shaft can now be assigned its own eccentric with a rotating shaft coupled to the
Furthermore, the respective other legs of the
The other two
In the simplest case, one of the two eccentric gear arrangements can be replaced by a simple mounting in the frame in the case of inclined compartment formation, but with a suitable length of the It must be ensured that the necessary minimum stroke is achieved for all boards. For this reason, the selected arrangement should be preferred, as this enables shorter knives to be reached.
The training shown ensures a reliable synchronization of the movements, in particular the movement of the lifting
With a special length of the
The design of the jacquard machine according to the invention achieves that only the lifting knives move almost exclusively are, whereby the mass to be moved is reduced to the utmost. In addition, the oscillating shaft can still be supported to prevent deflection. In this way, the load that is exerted on the driving arrangement is largely reduced, largely using rotating parts that can be easily stored in the machine frame, whereby the construction is considerably simplified. Furthermore, the design is simplified and simple adjustment is possible.
