Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a suspension and protection device on electrical devices, in particular floor care devices with a handle, such as hand-held vacuum cleaners or carpet cleaning devices, in which the cable exit occurs diametrically from the rear end of an ergonomically arranged handle.
The purpose of such devices is to prevent the electrical supply cable from becoming too kinked. With such devices, it is disadvantageous that such "cable grommets" are only sufficient for normal use. This means that excessive forces, such as occur when the device is parked, hung up or laid flat, are not absorbed by these devices; with the result that the connecting line breaks.
Devices of this type are known in that kink openings are provided in the cable outlet area, which allow a certain bending radius. For example, such a device on handheld vacuum cleaners is known, in which a separate, soft-elastic part absorbs the increased cable kink.
With such devices it is disadvantageous that it is an additional part, which increases the costs and only simplifies the placing of the device on the wall. The other aforementioned possibilities of excessive stress are not covered by this; in particular, there is no integrated suspension.
The object of the invention is to provide a suspension and protection device for cable exits, which the aforementioned shortcomings eliminated, maximum freedom of movement for normal cases and protection against excessive loads granted, with the simultaneous integration of a suspension device.
The object is achieved according to the characterizing part of
The subclaims represent further advantageous refinements of the invention.
The advantages that can be achieved with the invention are, in particular, that the cable emerging from the rear handle area of the floor care device can no longer bend under any circumstances due to overuse and thus the user is protected and the device is less susceptible to repairs.
The invention is illustrated in the drawings and described in more detail below.

Im Umkehrschluß ergibt sich, daß der Biegeradius (R) des Kabels (5) sich vergrößert.1 and 2, the end of the handle (3) of a cylinder vacuum cleaner (1) is shown on an enlarged scale. The pivotable, bow-shaped suspension and protection device (6) is integrated in the handle (3), whereby it rotates around the point (7). When folded, it forms a positive connection with the outer contours of the handle (3). The lower part of the divided handle end is supported against the wall (9), whereas the suspension and protection device (6) rests on the hook (8) on the wall (9). The end of the handle is moved away from the wall (9) in the area of its middle part, and the bending space for the cable (5) increases. Conversely, the bending radius (R) of the cable (5) increases.
Biegeradius (R) des Kabels (5).Fig. 2 shows an alternative in which the suspension and protection device (6) is shown as a cranked hook. This lies folded against the upper end of the handle and increases the distance between the cable outlet and max. Bending radius (R) of the cable (5).
In Fig. 3, the suspension and protection device forms a surface corresponding to the angle of inclination that the floor care device (1) forms when it is parked against the wall (9). The same applies to Fig. 4 when the vacuum cleaner (1) lies flat on the floor and is supported with the handle end part against the floor (10).
Fig. 4 zeigt die Lösung nach Fig. 3, wobei sich die Aufhänge-und Schutzvorrichtung (6) gegen den Boden (10) abstützt, ohne das Kabel (5) zu beanspruchen.FIG. 4 shows the solution according to FIG. 3, the suspension and protection device (6) being supported against the floor (10) without stressing the cable (5).
