Abstract

The clamping device is intended in particular for clamping sheet metal in position and consists of two clamping jaws (2, 3) which are arranged on a holder (1) for an actuating element (1') in such a way as to be movable relative to one another into closed and open position and of which the clamping jaw (2) provided with a control lever (13) is coupled to the actuating member of the actuating element (1') pivotably mounted on the holder (1). Here, the supporting clamping jaw (3) is arranged on the holder (1) in such a way that it can be adjusted in angle independently of the clamping jaw (2) and can be fixed in different positions. The control lever (13) of the clamping jaw (2) is designed in such a way that it can likewise be adjusted in angle relative to this clamping jaw (2) and can be fixed in different positions. <IMAGE>
