Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for producing physiological solutions, in which a quantity of solid or liquid ingredients corresponding to the desired concentration of the solution is added to a mixture of distilled water and mixed therewith. The invention further relates to a procedural arrangement for performing the method.
So far, it has been customary to place the distilled water in an agitator tank and to add the ingredients to it and mix it with the distilled water. The solution was then tempered and filled into bags. The empty container then had to be cleaned and sterilized with steam. In addition to the reduced use of a container as a result of this and the filling, it is disadvantageous that a large space must necessarily be provided for several containers and the operating and maintenance costs for the agitator are high.
Accordingly, the task was to avoid the disadvantages, which are characteristic of a discontinuous production process, of a new production process, with particular attention being given to the smallest possible space requirement and low operating costs.
In terms of process technology, the object was achieved in that the distilled water and the ingredients are combined in an apparatus for continuous mixing and mixed in the process.
The arrangement according to the invention for carrying out the manufacturing process consists of a mixing tube, the inputs of which are connected via metering devices to storage containers for distilled water and for the ingredients, and the output of which is connected to a filling device.
The invention is described below with reference to an embodiment shown schematically in the drawing.
The central part for the new process for the production of physiological solutions is a
The ingredients are introduced into the
The outlet of the
To sterilize the system, line 9 can be switched to a
With the help of a commercially
For this purpose, the characteristic data of the physiological solution to be produced as well as the optimal values of the operating temperatures and pressures are entered into the control device, so that the process sequence is monitored by the measurement and
The continuous mode of operation created by the invention means that the effort both for the operating space and for the operation itself and for maintenance and analysis can be considerably reduced.
