Abstract
Description
The invention relates generically to an outlet closure for liquid containers with an outlet hose, the outlet hose being arranged interchangeably.
In the generic outlet closure (known from practice), the hose is a conventional rubber hose, which is usually provided with fabric reinforcement and is hardly foldable. It is attached to the outlet nozzle by means of a union nut and is usually provided with a tap at the free end, which can be opened and closed. Such an outlet closure is not very suitable for a liquid container which is also a transport and storage container and is intended as a dispensing container for the filled-in liquid. Rather, containers of this purpose are provided with a metal tap, which is placed on the outlet nozzle. This is complex, especially if the liquid containers are disposable containers made of plastic. This is also difficult if the outlet nozzle has a large outlet cross section, as is required if the liquid filled in the liquid container has a relatively high viscosity, but the outlet time should be short. Valves of a correspondingly large diameter are hardly common. If they are made of metal, heavy, space-consuming components are created which are not very suitable for being connected to a plastic liquid container. However, such are increasingly being used for the transport and storage of liquids, in particular of highly viscous liquids.
The invention has for its object to provide an outlet closure which is suitable for transport and storage containers which can also be used as dispensing containers which can be easily manufactured with large and very large outlet cross-sections.
To achieve this object, the invention teaches that the outlet hose is designed as a foldable hose made of rubber or plastic and is fastened inside the outlet nozzle, that the outlet nozzle can be locked on the outside in a manner known per se by a cover, and that the inside of the outlet nozzle is in front the outlet hose, which is folded together, can be closed by a clamping device. - The invention makes use of the fact that, in the generic outlet closure, the outlet hose can perform an additional function without a tap, namely that it can serve as a hose clamp closure during transport and storage of a filled liquid container. If the outlet is to be effected, it is only necessary to remove the lid of the outlet closure according to the invention. The folded outlet hose protrudes under the influence of the hydrostatic pressure of the filled liquid, the free end can be picked up and fed to the receptacle or the like for the liquid to be discharged. The clamping device can be easily removed with the outlet hose picked up or made to jump off. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the outlet hose has a length which is greater than the maximum height of the liquid level in the liquid container. Then the mouth of the outlet hose can be raised to above the level of the liquid in the liquid container and the outlet can be hydrostatically interrupted. It goes without saying that by squeezing the mouth of the outlet hose in each outlet position a dosage is also possible.
In particular, there are several possibilities for further training and design within the scope of the invention. A preferred embodiment of the invention, which is characterized by manufacturing and assembly simplicity with high functional reliability, is characterized in that the outlet hose with a connecting edge is inserted into the gap between the inner wall of the outlet connector and a fastening ring and a sealing ring placed on the end face of the outlet connector covered, which in turn is covered by an outer fastening collar on the fastening ring, and that a collar ring is screwed onto the outside of the outlet connection, which holds the fastening ring with an inner collar. The cover can be screwed into the fastening ring. In general, the fastening ring, the collar ring and the cover will be made of plastic. If the liquid container itself is made of plastic, the outlet nozzle is generally molded on.
