Abstract

Es wird eine thermionische Haarnadelkathode mit langer Le­ bensdauer aus einem hochschmelzenden Metalldraht vorgeschla­ gen, bei der die Temperaturverteilung längs der Schenkel ent­ weder durch örtliche Erhöhung der Abstrahlung in einem Ab­ stand von 10 - 50 % der Schenkellänge vom Scheitel, oder durch Verringerung der Abstrahlung in unmittelbarer Nähe des Scheitels, ohne Aenderung der Drahtquerschnittsfläche, evtl. auch durch Kombination beider Massnahmen, so beeinflusst wird, dass durch Vergrösserung des Temperaturgradienten im Scheitelbereich die Maximaltemperatur in die Nähe des Emis­ sionszentrums oder in das Emissionszentrum verschoben wird.
