Description

The invention relates to a backpack according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a backpack is known from DE-A 31 04 855. The frame of this backpack is divided into an upper frame part and a lower frame part, each of which is essentially U-shaped. The side parts and the frame parts are designed as telescopic tubes that can be pushed into one another. Furthermore, a fixing device is provided between the frame parts, whereby the mutual distance between the frame parts is adjustable. A support strap is arranged on the lower part of the frame, which comes to rest on the sacrum area of the wearer. The pack sack, to which the shoulder and hip belts are attached, is attached to the top frame. The fact that the frame parts can be telescoped means that the support strap at the lower end of the lower frame part assumes a correct position for support against the sacrum area. Since the shoulder and hip belts are attached to the stuff sack, it is not possible to adjust their position to the needs of the wearer.

Another backpack can be found in US-A 40 15 759. This frame has a crossbar to which the upper ends of the shoulder straps are attached. The height of this crossbar is fixed to the frame. The lower ends of the shoulder straps are connected to the frame in the lower area. Between the frame and the hip belt there is an elastic joint, also adjustable in height, which enables the wearer to tilt the upper body towards the hip.

Die oberen Enden der Schultergurten sind höhenveränderbar am Gestell befestigt.US-A 41 94 656 shows a backpack frame in which a fastening plate is provided at the waist for releasably fastening the hip belt. The upper ends of the shoulder straps are attached to the frame so that they can be adjusted in height.

With a backpack, it is crucial for comfort to be able to adapt the frame to the anatomical conditions of the wearer. An important point here is that the distance between the hip belt and the upper articulation points of the shoulder straps can be changed. However, this setting option is not sufficient. Rather, what is more important is the load on the carrier by the pack sack, which varies depending on the weight and weight distribution of the contents of the pack sack and on the terrain in which the carrier is moving.

In the backpack according to the invention, optimal wearing comfort can be achieved by simple means. With this backpack it is possible to change the distance between the upper articulation points of the shoulder straps and the hip belt. It is also possible to attach the pack sack to the frame at different heights. There are pack sacks of different sizes on the frame, i.e. different heights and thus different volumes can be attached. The waist belt is pivotally attached to the frame about a horizontal axis, so that the upper body of the wearer can be inclined laterally relative to the wearer's hip without being impeded by the frame. The hip belt is easily detachably attached to the frame, so that it is possible to replace hip belts with each other without cumbersome assembly.

By providing compression straps that wrap around the pack sack, it is possible to attach additional parts to the backpack, such as additional side panniers or ski holders.

It is important that the means for height-adjustable fastening of the pack sack to the frame serve at the same time to connect the two frame parts to one another in a height-adjustable manner.

  • Fig. 1 eine Ansicht einer ersten Ausführungsform des Gestells;
  • Fig. 2 eine Ansicht einer zweiten Ausführungsform des Gestells;
  • Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf einen Hüftgurt und
  • Fig. 4 eine Seitenansicht des Rucksacks.
Exemplary embodiments are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. Show it:
  • Fig. 1 is a view of a first embodiment of the frame;
  • Fig. 2 is a view of a second embodiment of the frame;
  • Fig. 3 is a plan view of a waist belt and
  • Fig. 4 is a side view of the backpack.

The backpack frame 1 according to FIG. 1 consists of an upper frame part 2 and a lower frame part 3. The upper frame part has two vertical side parts 4, 5 running parallel to one another, which are connected to one another by a crossbar 6. In the same way, the lower frame part 3 has two side parts 7, 8, which are connected to one another by a lower crossmember 9. The upper frame part 2 and the lower frame part 3 each consist of flat material. The upper crossbar 6 has two elongated holes 10 to which the upper ends of the shoulder straps are attached. The lower crossmember 9 has a bore 11 in the center which intersects a horizontal slot.

Along the side parts 4, 5, 7, 8, elongated perforations 12 of the same dimension as one another are provided at uniform intervals. The two lower openings 12 on the side parts 7, 8 serve to fasten the lower ends of the shoulder straps.

The frame parts are through openings 12 at the upper ends of the side parts 7, 8 and at the lower ends of the side parts 4, 5 2,3 connectable. The connection between the frame parts 2, 3 can take place in such a way that the desired distance between the crossbeams 6, 9 results, which is adapted to the anatomical conditions of the wearer of the backpack. Two cross-section U-shaped angle irons with bolts and nuts serve as connecting means. The bolts are passed through slots 12 on the side parts 4,5,7,8 and are thus screwed to the frame parts 2,3.

Je nach Wahl der Langlöcher 12 an den Seitenteilen 4,5,7,8 durch welche die Schraubbolzen 14 der Winkeleisen 13 geführt sind, ergibt sich der gewünschte Abstand zwischen den Quertraversen 6,9.Depending on the choice of the elongated holes 12 on the side parts 4,5,7,8 through which the bolts 14 of the angle iron 13 are guided, the desired distance between the cross members 6.9 results.

The elongated holes 12 also serve to secure a stuff sack to the frame 1, as will be explained in more detail with reference to FIG. 4.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the frame parts 2, 3 are each H-shaped. In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the lower frame part 3 has side parts 7, 8, which are extended upwards in comparison to those according to FIG. 1. In this embodiment, the upper frame part consists only of the crossbar 6, which can be connected to the side parts 7, 8 in a height-adjustable manner. The crossbar 6 has an elongated hole 15 at each of its two ends, corresponding to the elongated holes 12 on the side parts 7, 8. By means of these elongated holes 15, the crossbar 6 can be connected to an elongated hole 12 of the side parts 7, 8, which is also done by means of two angle irons 13, this time L-shaped cross section, and bolts 14 with nuts. In this way, the crossbar 6 can be attached to the lower frame part 3 at the desired distance from the crossbar 9.

The hip belt 16 has a shell-shaped back part 17, for example made of plastic. The loops 18, 19 of the hip belt 16 are fastened to this cup-shaped rear part 17. On the back part 17, a bolt 20 is attached, which protrudes to the rear and on which a vertically extending pin 21 is attached. If the hip belt 16 is rotated 90 ° from its position of use and the bolt 20 is inserted into the bore 11, the pin 21 being aligned with the slot there, then the hip belt 16 is fastened to the crossbar 9 after a rotation of 90 °. In the position of use, it can then be rotated relative to the frame 1 about the axis of the bolt 20, which allows the above-mentioned trunk pivoting possibility of the wearer without being impeded by the frame.

A mesh 22 is stretched on the bowl-shaped rear part 17 and comes to rest on the sacrum area in the case of the wearer. This net 22 ensures a distance between the sacrum area and the back part 17 and thereby reduces perspiration in this area.

The pack sack 23 is fastened to the frame 1 via loops 24 arranged on the pack sack 23, which are guided through elongated holes 12 on the side parts 4, 5, 7, 8 and each have a buckle (not shown) for fastening the loop ends. In this way, pack sacks 23 of different sizes can be detachably attached to the frame 1 at different heights. Two compression straps 25, which are also guided through elongated holes 12 and which each wrap around the pack sack 23, are also used for fastening. The two compression straps 25, which run at a vertical distance from one another, are lashed around the stuff sack 23. A side pocket 26 or holders for attaching skis can be attached to them.

On the side of the pack sack 23 facing the wearer, horizontally extending markings can be attached which, when aligned with the upper crossbar 6, make it easier to attach the pack sack 23 to the frame 1 at different heights. The loops 24 have a mutual distance which corresponds to a multiple of the division arrangement of the elongated holes 12.
