Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen geraden Steckverbinder für Hohlprofile mit den Merkmalen im Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruchs.The invention relates to a straight connector for hollow profiles with the features in the preamble of the main claim.
Aus dem DE-U 82 27 371.5 ist ein gerader Steckverbinder mit U-förmigem Querschnitt bekannt, der Federzungen aufweist und für den Einsatz in Hohlprofilen von Abstandshalterrahmen für Isolierglasscheiben vorgesehen ist. Der Steckverbinder hat geschlossene Stirnseiten, so daß die Hohlprofile vor dem Einsatz des Steckverbinders mit dem Trocknungsmittel befüllt werden müssen. Außerdem ist beim Befüllen noch ausreichend Platz für den Steckverbinder zu lassen, den dieser aber nicht vollständig ausfüllt. Der Befüllungsgrad ist daher nicht optimal. Ferner befindet sich an den Stoßstellen des Rahmens kein Trocknungsmittel, was hinsichtlich der dort stattfindenden Diffusionsprozesse aber wünschenswert wäre. Die Erfindung erlaubt auch eine wirtschaftliche Verwertung von Verschnittresten, insbesondere von kurzen Hohlprofilstücken. Diese werden durch Steckverbinder zusammengesetzt und anschließend in einem Zug befüllt . Andererseits kann sich nun auch Trocknungsmittel im Bereich des Steckverbinders ansammeln und an der besonders diffusionsträchtigen Verbindungsstelle der Hohlprofile in der gewünschten Weise wirksam werden.The invention solves this problem with the features in the main claim.

Als Anschlag für die aufgesteckten Hohlprofile dienen beim erfindungsgemäßen geraden Steckverbinder die mittleren, gegeneinander gerichteten Rückhaltenasen. Beidseits der Mitte sind in den Seitenstegen (7) des Geradeverbinders (2) jeweils dreieckige Rückhaltenasen (10) freigestanzt und ausgebogen. Der Geradverbinder (2) hat damit in jedem Hohlprofil (11,12) einen vierfachen Rückhalt, der ein unbeabsichtigtes Abziehen unmöglich macht. Die Federzungen (8,9) und die Rückhaltenasen (10) dienen außerdem der Führung des Geradverbinders (2) in den Hohlprofilen (11,12). - Plug-type connector according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the height of the side webs (7) is matched to the internal height of the bearing surface in the hollow profile (11, 12).
- Plug-type connector according to Claim 3, characterised in that the retaining lugs (10) are arranged on the upper edge (24) of the side webs (7) and are left free by undercuts (23).
- Plug-type connector according to Claim 1, characterised in that the retaining lugs (10) have in the region of the connection point (20) a common undercut opening (23).
- Plug-type connector according to Claim 1 or one of the following, characterised in that the retaining lugs (10) outside the connection point (20) project laterally out of the side web surface and over the web upper edge (24).
