Abstract

A heat generator has, in addition to a main pipe (2) which conducts a fuel/air mixture of regulated composition, an alternatively connectable and disconnectable secondary pipe (21) with an associated fuel pipe. There is a requirement for a simply designed and reliable valve arrangement for connecting or disconnecting the secondary pipe and associated fuel pipe. The secondary pipe (21) and the fuel pipe open next to one another into the main pipe (2), preferably in the region of a chamber (31), and the mouths (38, 46) of both pipes are assigned a common slider (51) which can alternatively be brought into a position simultaneously opening or closing the two mouths. <IMAGE>
