Description

The invention relates to a device for processing tissue parts, in particular animal and / or vegetable nature, to sausage meat, granules, etc. by crushing and / or mixing by means of a cutter using a cryogenic liquefied gas with a rotating around a substantially vertical rotary shaft Bowl for receiving the tissue parts, into which rotating knives seated on a horizontal rotating shaft are immersed, whereby the bowl can be covered by a movable cover which is connected to a rotating shaft attached to the cutter via a lifting device and has an opening for escaping gas.

A cutting machine, which is called "cutting mixer" or "cutter", is usually used to process fabric parts into sausage meat, granules, etc. In a cutter, for example, meat parts are crushed into sausage meat or cocoa pods into a base for chocolate production and mixed. As is known, the tissue parts to be processed, in particular of animal and / or vegetable nature, are placed in a bowl rotating in a machine frame. The bowl is placed on a vertical rotary shaft, which is driven by an electric motor, for example.

Through this rotating bowl, the tissue parts are transported in a cutting room in which a rapidly rotating cutter head runs. By repeatedly passing the tissue parts through the cutting space, they are crushed and mixed.

Usually the cutter bowl can be covered with a soundproof cover, which has to be opened from time to time, e.g. Add raw materials or take finished product.

The introduction of mechanical energy by the rotating knives is inevitably associated with an increase in temperature of the tissue parts to be shredded. However, this is undesirable especially when processing animal or vegetable tissue parts, since e.g. Melt fats at the temperatures that can be reached and denaturations on protein parts can occur. In addition, the tissue parts should often be deep-frozen and preserved during the shredding process.

Therefore, a refrigerant is usually introduced into the cutter bowl. For example, DE-A-33 44 521 describes a cutter in which liquid nitrogen is sprayed directly onto the knives by means of a spray nozzle in order to remove the frictional heat generated by the rotating knives.

When using liquid gases, such as liquid nitrogen, carbon dioxide etc., to cool products to be treated in the cutter or to remove frictional heat generated by the knives, a cold exhaust gas is generated, which must be removed for safety reasons, otherwise there is a risk of suffocation, for example Operating personnel exist or visibility is impaired due to the formation of fog (condensed H20 vapor).

It is known to suck off the cold exhaust gas emerging through an opening in the soundproof cover of the cutter via a fan. The opening in the soundproof cover and the fan are connected via a flexible suction line, e.g. a plastic tube connected. When the soundproof cover is opened, the suction line must inevitably move with it, or it is uncoupled from the cover. However, the flexible suction line is cooled to such an extent during the suction of the cold exhaust gas that it loses its flexibility and thus breaks during movements which require flexibility to be carried out.

The flexible suction line can break easily when opening the soundproof cover if it moves with the cover when opening. On the other hand, uncoupling the suction line each time the lid is opened is cumbersome, time-consuming and also involves a risk of fire.

It is also known to install a suction hood over the cutter, through which exhaust gas is sucked off by a fan. However, this is often not possible due to space constraints. In addition, condensate forms on the suction hood, which drips into the cutter bowl and adversely affects the treatment of the tissue parts.

The known methods for extracting cold exhaust gas therefore have various disadvantages, such as high wear and tear due to the breakage of extraction lines, the formation of condensate or laboriousness and a great deal of time.

The object of the present invention is therefore to design a device of the type mentioned at the outset so that the disadvantages mentioned do not occur.

This object is achieved in that a tube is fixedly attached to the rotary shaft connected to the cover in the axial direction of the rotary shaft, that the tube is rotatably supported at its end opposite the rotary shaft in an opening of a fixed box, that the opening is connected in the lid to an opening in the tube via a connecting line and that another opening in the fixed box is connected to a suction device.

The cutter bowl can usually be covered with a soundproof cover. This soundproof cover is connected to a rotary shaft attached to the machine frame of the cutter via a lifting device. As a lifting device e.g. serve a rigid connection that lifts the lid when turning the rotating shaft and thus opens the cutter bowl.

According to the invention, a tube is fixedly attached to the rotary shaft connected to the cover in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. The tube ends on the side facing away from the rotating shaft in an opening of a fixed box and can rotate freely in the fixed box. The opening for the exhaust gas in the soundproof cover is connected via a connecting line to a side opening in the pipe. Exhaust gas from the cutter bowl can therefore pass into the pipe via this connecting line.

The fixed box has a second opening which is connected to a suction device. When the suction device is in operation, the exhaust gas is thus conducted into the pipe through the opening in the soundproofing cover and via the connecting line. In the pipe, the exhaust gas is led to the fixed box and from there to the suction device.

If the cover is opened by rotating the rotary shaft connected to the cover via the lifting device, the tube sitting on the rotary shaft also rotates. The connecting line between the opening in the lid and the lateral opening in the tube also rotates, so that the connecting line does not bend when the lid is opened. The tube rotates in one opening of the fixed box, while the other opening of the box is firmly connected to the suction device. The device according to the invention thus prevents the connecting line, which has been cooled down by the cold exhaust gas and has become inflexible, from breaking.

The suction device is expediently designed as a fan. The fan sucks the cold exhaust gas out of the cutter bowl through the opening in the lid, through the connecting line connected to the side opening of the pipe, into the pipe, from there into the fixed box and finally to the fan.

The device according to the invention is simple and inexpensive. A conventional cutter can be converted to the device according to the invention by installing fewer parts, namely connecting line, pipe, fixed box and suction device.

The device according to the invention also has the advantage that the connecting line does not have to be removed each time the cutter cover is opened. Cumbersome and time-consuming additional work during the operation of the cutter is avoided.

In addition, the high wear associated with conventional methods of extracting cold exhaust gas from a cutter does not occur in the device according to the invention due to the breaking of cooled and inflexible extraction lines. The device according to the invention is not dependent on the flexibility of the connecting line between the opening in the lid and the lateral opening in the rotatable tube. A rigid connecting line can also be used.

Furthermore, no condensate formation occurs in the device according to the invention, which would interfere with the proper operation of the cutter.

The device according to the invention can be used for processing tissue parts, in particular animal and / or vegetable tissue parts, with supply of a cryogenic liquefied gas to sausage meat, granules, etc. Examples of this are the production of scalded sausage meat and raw sausage meat by chopping meat parts in the device according to the invention and the chopping and mixing of fresh bacon ("grains"). In general, the device according to the invention is suitable for the quantity, mixing and comminution of suitable substances of all kinds, such as e.g. Nuts, poultry feathers in animal processing plants, plastic and rubber parts using a cryogenic liquefied gas.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment shown in a schematic drawing:

The figure shows a cutter according to the invention in plan view.

The cutter shown in the figure has a cutter bowl 1, which is rotatable about a vertical axis 2 and can be driven by an electric motor, not shown. A rotatable knife set 3 is arranged vertically to the cutter bowl level, the horizontal axis 4 of which lies above the edge of the bowl 1. The knife set 3 can be driven via the axis 4 by an electric motor, not shown. Liquid nitrogen is sprayed onto the tissue parts located in the bowl 1 via a nozzle (not shown). The cutter bowl 1 is rotatably suspended in a machine frame 6.

The cutter can be covered by a movable soundproof cover 7, which has an opening 8 for escaping cold exhaust gas. The cover 7 is connected via a lifting device 9, which in the exemplary embodiment is designed as a rigid connection, to a horizontal rotary shaft 10 attached to the machine frame 6. A tube 11 sits on the rotary shaft 10 and ends in an opening 12 of a fixed box 13. The opening 8 in the cover 7 is connected via a connecting line 14 to a lateral opening 15 of the tube 11. The fixed box 13 has a second opening 16 which is connected to a fan, not shown.

When the fan is operating, exhaust gas is sucked from the cutter through the opening 8 in the cover 7 via the connecting line 14 through the opening 15 into the pipe 11, further through the opening 12 into the fixed box 13 and finally through the opening 16 to the fan.

To open the cover 7, the cover 7 is raised by the lifting device 9 by rotating the rotary shaft 10. The tube 11 seated on the rotary shaft 10 and the connecting line 14 between the opening 8 of the cover 7 and the opening 15 of the tube 11 also rotate. Bending of the connecting line 14 is avoided, so that a rigid connecting line can also be used.

In the conventional method of exhaust gas extraction from the cutter, a flexible exhaust gas line which is attached to the opening 8 of the cover 7 and which bends when the cover 7 is opened is used. The exhaust pipe cools down strongly through the cold exhaust gas passing through it, so that it loses its flexibility and breaks easily when bent. In contrast, bending of the connecting line 14, through which the cold exhaust gas is drawn out of the cutter, is avoided in the device according to the invention, so that the connecting line 14 is prevented from breaking.

In the device according to the invention, the cutter cover 7 can be opened at any time if necessary, without any cumbersome additional work for uncoupling the suction line for the exhaust gas.
