Claims (2)

1. Joint d'étanchéité pour cadres d'électrode pressés les uns sur les autres d'un électrolyseur à membrane pour la production de lessive de soude caustique, d'hydrogène et de chlore à partir d'une saumure de NaCI, tandis que le bord de la membrane se trouve entre les deux parties du joint, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une partie du joint est constituée d'un cadre central et d'au moins un cadre d'étanchéité en graphite appliqué sur un côté du cadre central, et que le cadre central et le cadre d'étanchéité sont entourés par une enveloppe mince en polytétrafluoréthylène.
2. Joint d'étanchéité selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le cadre central est réalisé en amiante.
