Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for improving a yarn produced in a rotor of an open-end spinning device with real wire, the yarn following a deflection following the yarn withdrawal direction of the yarn take-off nozzle on at least one false twist edge arranged obliquely to the thread path, a further deflection at another, at an angle to False twist edge arranged in the thread path is experienced, which deflects the yarn in a direction deviating from the direction of the previous deflection, which is then drawn off by a pair of draw-off rollers, and a device for carrying out the method.
- DE-A1 36 09 114 which does not form part of the prior art, shows a device for open-end spinning, in which a deflection is arranged after the yarn take-off nozzle in the yarn take-off direction and has at least one false twist edge. After the deflection following the yarn draw-off nozzle, there is a further deflection which deflects the yarn in a direction deviating from the direction of the preceding deflection. With the false twist edge of the first deflection, which lies obliquely in the withdrawal path of the thread and has approximately an inclination which corresponds to the rotation of the thread, it is achieved that the false wire generated by the withdrawal nozzle cannot easily overcome this edge.
- a false twist edge has the result that there is a greater twist in the thread between this edge and the withdrawal groove of the rotor. This increases the spinning stability, which means that the risk of thread breakage in the thread collecting channel is reduced.
- the articles made from this yarn are characterized by a somewhat hard grip.
- DE-A1 35 39 383 discloses the use of a cyclone flow to produce a false wire that reinforces the real wire.
- Fibers are wrapped around the thread, creating so-called abdominal bandages. This does not produce a hairy yarn.
- the invention has for its object to improve the spinning result of an open-end spinning device and to give the fabric made from the spun yarn, in particular knitwear or knitwear, a soft feel.
- this object is achieved by a method according to claim 1.
- the yarn Before the point of application of the cyclone flow, the yarn receives a stronger wire, after the point of application a weaker wire.
- a thread balloon is generated in the yarn piece running between the cyclone flow and the clamping point formed by the pair of draw-off rollers. Due to the centrifugal forces in the less twisted yarn, outer fiber ends are spread apart from the fiber structure. As a result of the outer fiber ends being spread apart, the yarn thus produced is advantageously distinguished by a higher hairiness and leads the finished article to the desired softer feel.
- the object of the invention is achieved in that between the last false twist edge and the pair of draw-off rollers of a device known from DE-A1 36 09 114, a false-wire device traversed by the yarn it is arranged that the false wire device has a device for generating a cyclone flow rotating about the longitudinal axis of the yarn and that between the false wire device and the clamping point formed by the pair of draw-off rollers there is a distance from the pair of draw-off rollers which enables the yarn piece to form a fiber-spreading thread balloon.
- the outer thread ends spread out in the part of the fiber structure in which there is a weaker twist, and this is the cause of the greater hairiness, which leads to a softer feel in the finished article, which is particularly advantageous in the case of knitted fabrics and knitted fabrics.
- the yarn take-off speed can be high with a relatively low twist, so that the invention also increases the productivity of the open-end spinning device, the overall spinning result being better than in the prior art.
- the device for generating the cyclone flow advantageously has a tube through which the yarn passes, into which at least one tangential duct carrying compressed air opens.
- the direction of rotation of the cyclone coincides with the direction of rotation of the real wire of the yarn, so that the feed-side yarn section has a false wire reinforcing the real wire.
- the drawing shows a longitudinal section through a device according to the invention.
- the open-end spinning device designated as a whole by 1, has a rotor 2, in the fiber collecting groove 3 of which spinning fibers are continuously introduced in a manner not shown here, while the rotor interior in the direction of arrow 4 over the rotor edge 5 and under a cover 6 covering the rotor 2 is continuously vented through.
- a yarn take-off nozzle 7 is inserted centrally in the cover 6, to which a pipe 9 bent from the thread course is connected to one side, here upwards, with the interposition of a yarn guide funnel 8.
- the tube 9 has three consecutive, oblique to the thread run, the free tube cross-section, which is circular in the rest, on the tube curvature line 10 having the smallest radius of curvature constricting false twist edges 11, 12, 13.
- the false twist edges 11, 12, 13 are formed by pins, the bores lying at an angle to the thread path and penetrating the tubular jacket are inserted in such a way that they protrude from the tube jacket line 10 having the smallest radius of curvature into the free cross section of the tube 9, as the drawing shows, in particular using the example of the false twist edge 11.
- the tube 9 is pressed into a cylindrical socket 16 of the cover 6 with the addition of a sealing ring 15.
- another false twist edge 14 which is also arranged obliquely to the thread run. It directs the yarn 17 produced in the rotor 2, which first passes through the yarn take-off nozzle 7, is then deflected upward from its running direction by the false twist edges 11, 12 and 13, now again to the opposite side from its direction.
- the false twist edge 14 is located at the sloping end of another tube 18 on the yarn input side, which extends into the tube 9 at an angle to the tube axis of the tube 9.
- a pneumatic false wire device 19 connects to the tube 18.
- the yarn 17 passes through the false wire device 19 and then through a pair of draw-off rollers 20, 21.
- the draw-off roller 20 can be driven by means of a shaft 22 in the direction of the arrow 23, while the draw-off roller 21 with a pressing force as a contact roller running against friction against the draw-off roller 20 or the yarn 17 can be created.
- the yarn 17 After passing through the pair of draw rollers 20, 21, the yarn 17 is wound into a bobbin in a manner not shown here.
- the pneumatic false wire device 19 consists of a cladding tube 24 into which an annular channel 25 is incorporated.
- the cladding tube 24 is pressed onto the tube 18. It has a tubular swirl insert 26 which serves as a device for generating a cyclone flow Z and which has four tangential channels 27 which extend slightly at an angle to the yarn running direction at the level of the ring channel 25.
- the swirl insert 26 is held in the cladding tube 24 by a screw connection 28.
- the screw connection 28 carries a yarn outlet tube 29 which is widened like a funnel toward the yarn outlet side.
- the cladding tube 24 has a threaded bore into which a hose connection piece 30 is screwed.
- a compressed air hose 31 terminates in the hose connecting piece and leads to a compressed air source via a switchable valve (not shown here).
- the yarn take-off direction is indicated by an arrow 32.
- the false twist edges 11 to 14 are aligned so that their direction coincides with the direction of the yarn wire present on the respective edge.
- the orientation of the tangential channels 27 also takes into account the yarn wire, so that the cyclone flow Z acts clockwise on the yarn 17 with right-hand wire and left-handed with left-handed wire.
- the running yarn 17 experiences a wire reinforcement in the yarn section 17 ⁇ lying in front of the pneumatic fiber spreading device 19 and a counter-twist in the yarn section 17 ⁇ lying between the pneumatic false wire device 19 and the pair of draw-off rollers 20, 21.
- the false wire dissolves after leaving the cyclone flow Z at the latest at the nip point given by the draw-off roller pair 20, 21 and the real wire, which the rotor 2 as yarn producer now issues to the yarn 17 with great spinning stability, remains.
Description
Method and device for improving a yarn produced in the rotor of an open-end spinning device.
The invention relates to a method for improving a yarn produced in a rotor of an open-end spinning device with real wire, the yarn following a deflection following the yarn withdrawal direction of the yarn take-off nozzle on at least one false twist edge arranged obliquely to the thread path, a further deflection at another, at an angle to False twist edge arranged in the thread path is experienced, which deflects the yarn in a direction deviating from the direction of the previous deflection, which is then drawn off by a pair of draw-off rollers, and a device for carrying out the method.
Dadurch wird die Spinnstabilität erhöht, das heißt die Gefahr eines Fadensbruchs in der Fadensammelrinne herabgesetzt.DE-A1 36 09 114, which does not form part of the prior art, shows a device for open-end spinning, in which a deflection is arranged after the yarn take-off nozzle in the yarn take-off direction and has at least one false twist edge. An edge that is perpendicular to the thread path is arranged, can be overcome by the false wire unhindered. A false twist edge, on the other hand, has the result that there is a greater twist in the thread between this edge and the withdrawal groove of the rotor. This increases the spinning stability, which means that the risk of thread breakage in the thread collecting channel is reduced.
With the help of the further deflection at a further false twist edge, which deflects the yarn in a direction deviating from the direction of the previous deflection, the effect of the at least one false twist edge is increased. With it it is namely prevented to a greater extent that the yarn stands out from the at least one false twist edge and the rotation "jumps over" this false twist edge.
With the otherwise good spinning result, the articles made from this yarn are characterized by a somewhat hard grip.
From EP-A1 0 156 739 a method for increasing the withdrawal speed of the thread from an open-end rotor spinning device is known. The thread is drawn out of the rotor via the draw-off nozzle and draw-off tube, whereby it is deflected twice in the same direction. However, this deflection does not take place via the so-called false twist edges. The false wire generated by the extraction nozzle can therefore easily overcome the deflections. Furthermore, the false wire, which is applied by an additional false wire device and reinforces the real wire, can easily overcome the deflections in the exhaust pipe. Nothing is known from this document about a change in the yarn structure.
From GB-A-2 127 442 a method according to the preamble of
Fibers are wrapped around the thread, creating so-called abdominal bandages. This does not produce a hairy yarn.
The invention has for its object to improve the spinning result of an open-end spinning device and to give the fabric made from the spun yarn, in particular knitwear or knitwear, a soft feel.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by a method according to
Before the point of application of the cyclone flow, the yarn receives a stronger wire, after the point of application a weaker wire. As a result of the cyclone flow, a thread balloon is generated in the yarn piece running between the cyclone flow and the clamping point formed by the pair of draw-off rollers.
With regard to the device, the object of the invention is achieved in that between the last false twist edge and the pair of draw-off rollers of a device known from DE-A1 36 09 114, a false-wire device traversed by the yarn it is arranged that the false wire device has a device for generating a cyclone flow rotating about the longitudinal axis of the yarn and that between the false wire device and the clamping point formed by the pair of draw-off rollers there is a distance from the pair of draw-off rollers which enables the yarn piece to form a fiber-spreading thread balloon.
The outer thread ends spread out in the part of the fiber structure in which there is a weaker twist, and this is the cause of the greater hairiness, which leads to a softer feel in the finished article, which is particularly advantageous in the case of knitted fabrics and knitted fabrics. The yarn take-off speed can be high with a relatively low twist, so that the invention also increases the productivity of the open-end spinning device, the overall spinning result being better than in the prior art.
The device for generating the cyclone flow advantageously has a tube through which the yarn passes, into which at least one tangential duct carrying compressed air opens. The direction of rotation of the cyclone coincides with the direction of rotation of the real wire of the yarn, so that the feed-side yarn section has a false wire reinforcing the real wire.
Based on the embodiment shown in the drawing, the invention is described and explained in more detail.

A yarn take-off nozzle 7 is inserted centrally in the cover 6, to which a pipe 9 bent from the thread course is connected to one side, here upwards, with the interposition of a yarn guide funnel 8. The tube 9 has three consecutive, oblique to the thread run, the free tube cross-section, which is circular in the rest, on the
With this construction of the false twist edges, a complete edge rounding is given. In other exemplary embodiments, instead of the pins with a circular cross section, web-like pins, triangular pins or the like can be used in order not to obtain rounded curves of the false twist edges that are so pronounced.
