Die Berührung zwischen den Druckorganen und den Lochstempeln ist daher punkt- oder linienförmig, so daß verhältnismäßig hohe Flächendrücke auftreten. Die Erfindung geht von dem Gedanken aus, daß die Druckplatte nicht unmittelbar, sondern mittelbar über ein gegenüber der Druckplatte und den Lochstempeln verschwenkbares Druckorgan auf die Lochstempel einwirken sollte, um die unerwünschten Querreibungskräfte bei der Locherbetätigung zu vermeiden. Dementsprechend wird gemäß der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß das Druckorgan durch eine parallel zur Schwenkachse der Druckplatte ausgerichtete, mit ihrer Oberkante gegen die Druckplatte anliegende und dort pendelartig verschwenkbare Druckschiene gebildet ist, an deren Unterkante zwei nach unten weisende, in napfartige Vertiefungen der Lochstempelköpfe eingreifende und sich mit ihrer Spitze gegen deren Boden schwenkbar abstützende Druckzapfen angeordnet sind. Wenn die Lochstempel im Bereich ihres Kopfes in einer Axialführung des Unterteils geführt sind, werden bei der Locherbetätigung keine Biege-momente auf die Lochstempel ausgeübt, so daß die durch die Locherbetätigung hervorgerufene Gleitreibung in den Axialführungen vernachlässigbar ist. Mit diesen Maßnahmen wird gewährleistet, daß die Druckschiene in jedem Falle zusammen mit der Druckplatte in ihre Ausgangslage zurückgezogen wird und nicht herausfallen kann, wenn einer der Lochstempel beispielsweise in einem dicken, festen Papierstapel trotz Einwirkung der Rückstellfeder hängenbleiben sollte.According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the pressure rail is articulated with play in the region of its upper edge on side cheeks of the pressure plate. Der in der Zeichnung dargestellte Brieflocher besteht im wesentlichen aus einem mit Seitenwangen 2 versehenen Unterteil 1 sowie einer an den Seitenwangen 2 des Unterteils 1 angelenkten Druckplatte 3. Die Lochstempel 4 werden in ihrem unteren Bereich in Aussparungen 22 und in ihrem oberen, einen breiteren Kopf 7 aufweisenden Bereich zwischen Lappen 21, die aus den seitlichen Wangen 2 abgebogen sind, geführt. Weiter ist eine parallel zur Schwenkachse 32 der Druckplatte 3 ausgerichtete Druckschiene 5 vorgesehen, die mit ihrer Oberkante im Bereich einer durch eine nach innen wei sende Abbiegung 31 gebildeten Rinne 33 gegen die Druckplatte 3 anliegt, und an deren Unterkante 54 zwei nach unten weisende, in napfartige Vertiefungen 71 der Lochstempelköpfe 7 eingreifende und sich mit ihrer Spitze gegen den Boden schwenkbar abstützende Druckzapfen angeordnet sind. Weiter ist die Druckschiene 5 im Bereich ihrer Oberkante mit stirnseitig überstehenden, in Aussparungen 35 in den Seitenwangen 36 der Druckplatte 3 mit Spiel eingreifenden Zapfen 51 versehen. Die Zapfen 51 dienen in erster Linie dazu, bei einem etwaigen Klemmen der Lochstempel 4 in dem zu lochenden Schriftgut zu verhindern, daß die Druckschiene 5 ihren Kontakt mit der Druckplatte 3 verliert. Da bei Betätigung der Druckplatte 3 die Druckschiene 5 weder an der Unterseite der Druckplatte 3 noch im Kopf 7 der Lochstempel 4 gleitet, sondern lediglich eine Kippbewegung ausführt, ist eine einwandfreie und verlustlose Kraftübertragung von der Druckplatte 3 auf die Lochstempel 4 gewährleistet. Die Lochstempel 4 werden von einer Schraubenfeder 6 umschlossen, deren unteres Widerlager durch einen waagerechten Teil des Locherunterteils und deren oberes Widerlager durch die Ringschulter des Kopfes 7 der Lochstempel 4 gebildet wird.The letter punch shown in the drawing consists essentially of a lower part 1 provided with
