Definitions
- the invention relates to a housing for couplable cutting charges according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Couplable cutting charges are known from US Pat. No. 2,605,704.
- a housing for couplable cutting charges according to the preamble of claim 1 is known which allows cutting charges to be arranged one behind the other by snap locks.
- the junction of two abutting cutting charges looks so that the end faces lie against each other, i.e. there is a distance between the deposits of two adjacent cutting charges that corresponds to twice the thickness of the end face.
- the cutting charges detonate, there is a loss of penetration at the point of separation of the two cutting charges. This affects the target object in such a way that the cutting profile has a so-called saw tooth, which is assigned to the separation point between the two cutting charges.
- the object of the invention is to propose a housing for couplable cutting charges, in which the so-called sawtooth of the cutting profile in the target object is largely avoided.
- the decisive factor is that the end faces of the inserts, which are in contact with one another under pretension, are converted into a shaped charge jet with almost the same energy by a plurality of charges coupled to one another - namely their frontal edge zones. Only a small part of the explosive vapor, compared to the prior art, escapes at the separation point in the direction of the target object.
- Cutting charges 1, 2 have housings 3 made of sheet metal parts for inserts 4 and for the cast explosive 5.
- the housing 3 consist of a jacket 6, two end plates 7 and two spacer flaps 8.
- the end plates 7 have sections 15 angled towards the explosive 5 and towards the insert 4. These sections 15 are firmly connected to the inserts 4 by indicated screws 16.
- the end faces 10 of the inserts 4 protrude by a distance 17 beyond the surface 19 of the end plates 7. This distance 17 is kept so small that a gap 18 between the end plates 7 is only a few 1/10 mm.
- the schematically illustrated recess 21 with a bump which is referred to as a so-called saw tooth 22
- This hump has a depth of cut 24 to the target surface 23. This is approximately 25% greater than a cutting depth 25 with cutting charges according to the prior art.
- the improved depth of cut 24 is achieved in that the explosive plumes of the detonated explosive 5 are sealed relatively well at the separation point of two cutting charges 1, 2 by the angled sections 15 of the end plates 7. This results in a relatively good conversion of the explosive energy to the inserts 4, specifically in the area of the gap 18 between the two cutting charges 1 and 2.
- the sections 15 act as quasi sealing sleeves.

Description
The invention relates to a housing for couplable cutting charges according to the preamble of
Aus der US-A 2 605 704 sind koppelbare Schneidladungen bekannt.Couplable cutting charges are known from US Pat. No. 2,605,704.
These have convex end faces and correspondingly concave end faces. With coupled cutting loads, there is thus a positive connection. The joint area between a face plate and an insert is not disclosed. After a unit charge with an ignition charge on the front is disclosed, it can be assumed that with coupled cutting charges corresponding to the thickness of the ignition charge, a cutting effect in a target is not achieved.
From DE-GM 7 901 085 a housing for couplable cutting charges according to the preamble of
The object of the invention is to propose a housing for couplable cutting charges, in which the so-called sawtooth of the cutting profile in the target object is largely avoided.
The object of the invention is achieved in accordance with the characterizing features of
Vorteilhafte Weiterbildungen sind den Unteransprüchen zu entnehmen.Advantageous further developments can be found in the subclaims.
According to the invention, a substantial improvement in the cutting profile in a target object is achieved.
The decisive factor is that the end faces of the inserts, which are in contact with one another under pretension, are converted into a shaped charge jet with almost the same energy by a plurality of charges coupled to one another - namely their frontal edge zones. Only a small part of the explosive vapor, compared to the prior art, escapes at the separation point in the direction of the target object.
According to
According to
- Fig. 1 in perspektivischer Ansicht zwei gekoppelte Schneidladungen;
- Fig. 2 eine Schnitt 11-11 nach Fig. 1;
- 1 is a perspective view of two coupled cutting charges;
- Fig. 2 is a section 11-11 of FIG. 1;
- 3 shows the penetration performance of the cutting charges according to FIG. 1 on a target object.
Schnappverschlüsse 9 koppeln die Schneidladungen 1, 2.Snap locks 9 couple the
According to FIG. 2, the
The end faces 10 of the
When the two cutting charges 1, 2 according to FIG. 1 detonate, the schematically illustrated
The improved depth of
