Abstract

An apparatus for producing thin boards by chipless cutting of the boards from a log or a squared timber on one or both opposing sides of the timber where the apparatus includes a support means for the article being cut and a cutter station which is arranged in at least one side of the support and including a cutter blade engageable with the squared timber. Durch Beaufschlagung des Druckzylinders 38 mit Druckfluid läßt sich der Druck einstellen, mit dem die Schneideinrichtungen 9 und 35 gegen das Kantholz 1 angedrückt werden. Die unter Druck anstellbare Ausführung der Schneideinrichtung 35 ersetzt die Andruckrollen 17 der Ausführung nach Fig. 1. The right-hand cutting device 35, shown below in FIG. 2, differs from the left one in that it is arranged within the right-hand frame part 4 on an independent support 36. which is articulated at one end at 37 to the right frame part 4 and is supported at its other end by means of a pressure cylinder 38 on the frame part 4. Diese Anordnung hat nicht nur den Nachteil, daß sie konstruktiv aufwendiger ist als die Anordnung nach den Fig.-1-3, sie hat auch den Nachteil, daß bei begrenztem Arbeitshub des Arbeitszylinders 44 die Maschine nicht ohne weiteres als Ganzes auseinandergefahren werden kann, wie dies durch Vorsehen des beweglichen Rahmenteiles 4 bei den Ausführungsformen der Fig.-1-3 gegeben ist. Claims (9)

1. Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von dünnen Brettern durch spanlos schneidendes Abtrennen der Bretter von einem Holzstamm oder Kantholz an einer oder jeweils gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Kantholzes, mit einer Vorschubbahn für das Kantholz, einer auf einer Seite der Vorschubbahn angeordneten Schneideinrichtung mit einem oder mehreren gestaffelt hintereinander angeordneten starren oder in Schwingbewegung versetzbaren Schneidmessern zum Abtrennen von Brettern, einer der ersten Schneideinrichtung auf der anderen Seite der Vorschubbahn gegenüberliegenden Andruckeinrichtung oder einer der ersten entsprechenden zweiten Schneideinrichtung, wobei mindestens die Andruckeinrichtung bzw. die eine Schneideinrichtung gegen das Kantholz und somit gegen die gegenüberliegende Schneideinrichtung andrückbar ist, sowie mit einem das Kantholz gegen das bzw. die Schneidmesser der Schneideinrichtungen vorschiebenden Vorschubmittel mit mindestens einem Paar von das Kantholz an gegenüberliegenden Seiten erfassenden Vorschubrollen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jedes Paar (24, 25) von Vorschubrollen (26, 27) unabhängig von der von ihm gegen das Kantholz (1) ausgeübten Klemmkraft in einer Richtung quer zur Vorschubbahn (2) schwimmend beweglich angeordnet ist, um sich unter Beibehaltung symnetrischer Klemmkräfte der durch den Anpreßdruck an der Schneideinrichtung (9, 35) bestimmten Lage des Kantholzes (I) anpassen zu können.1.
