Description

The invention relates to a sorting wing according to the preamble of claim 1. Such a sorting wing has become known as the internal state of the art.

A 254 068 describes sorters with a number of differently shaped sorting wings. Figures 7 and 8 of that document are particularly relevant. Differences between the generic sorting wing and the wing according to FIG. 7 of the GB patent can be seen above all in the fact that the outer wing contour of the rear part of the wing according to FIG. 7 is composed of two basket arches. The outer contour of the front part of the wing according to FIG. 8 of that document is likewise not an arc, but rather a curve which has a kink. Therefore, none of the sorting wings according to the GB-PS fulfills the preamble of claim 1. For this reason alone, a sorting device with sorting wings of the old, previously known type would be unsuitable for modern sorting tasks which have to cope with a very high consistency of the suspension.

In all of the known sorting devices, the pulsation effects caused by the sorting vanes are perceived as particularly unpleasant. The pulsations propagate throughout the system and occasionally even reach the paper machine downstream of the sorting, which leads to disturbances in sheet formation. Furthermore, in the case of sorting devices, efforts are being made to make the manufacture of the device as simple as possible and also to achieve good sorting efficiency.

The invention has for its object to design a sorting wing according to the preamble of claim 1 such that the pulsations are reduced, the ease of manufacture and the good sorting efficiency should be maintained.

This object is achieved in a sorting wing of the type mentioned by the features of the characterizing part of claim 1.

The invention is explained below using two exemplary embodiments shown in the figures of the drawing, wherein
  • 1 and 2 two embodiments in a view parallel to the rotor axis with the rotor partially cut and
  • Fig. 3 show in principle the mutual assignment of the sorting wing.

The sorting wing 1 comprises a rear part 2, the radial outer contour of which is an arc 4. The rear part 2 has a maximum initial height h ', at the rear edge 12, and a maximum end height H. The height information relates in each case to the distance between the relevant point of the outer contour and the outer surface 15 of the rotor. The sorting wing 1 further comprises a front part 7, which lies in the direction of rotation in front of the rear part and begins at the point at which the maximum end height H of the rear part 2 is located. The front part also has an arcuate radial outer contour, which is however concave.

Dabei beträgt die Länge L2 im vorliegenden Falle 1,5' H. Dabei kann der Radius des Vorderteils 7 spitz zulaufen, so daß die Kontur des Vorderteiles 7 in die Mantelfläche 15 des Rotors übergeht - siehe Figur 1.The total length of the wing L is composed of the length L 1 of the rear part 2 and the length L 2 of the front part 7. The length L 2 in the present case is 1.5 'H. The radius of the front part 7 can be tapered, so that the contour of the front part 7 merges into the lateral surface 15 of the rotor - see FIG. 1.

Die abfallende Strecke h' beträgt das 0,2-fache von H.According to FIG. 2, the radial outer contour of the rear part 2 drops at the rear edge 12 in the radial direction onto the lateral surface 15 of the rotor. The falling distance h 'is 0.2 times H.

As can be seen from FIG. 2, the concave circular arc 8 likewise does not open into the rotor lateral surface 15 in this exemplary embodiment. Rather, there is also a steep drop in the radial direction. The extent h of this drop amounts to somewhat less than 0.2 of the maximum height H '.
