Abstract

Un procédé permet de préparer un éther de tétrahydroquinolone ayant la formule (I) et un nouveau produit intermédiaire de formule (VIII) permet de préparer ledit éther. Dans la formule (I), R1 représente un groupe alkyle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée ayant entre 1 et 4 atomes de carbone et R3 représente alkylsulfonyloxyle, arylsulfonyloxyle, acyloxyle, un groupe hydroxyle ou un atome d'halogène. Selon ce procédé, on fait réagir un oxyde de 1,2-propylène 3-substitué ou du 1,2-propanediol 3-substitué avec de l'octahydroquinoline-2,5-dione en présence d'un catalyseur acide afin de produire un composé de formule (VII), que l'on fait alors réagir avec une alkylamine de formule R1-NH2 (dans laquelle R1 est défini comme ci-dessus) afin de produire un nouveau composé de formule (VIII), dans laquelle R1 est défini comme ci-dessus, que l'on fait ensuite réagir avec un réactif déshydrogénant de rupture de chaîne fermée afin d'obtenir le composé de formule (I).
