Claims (3)

1. Procédé de fabrication, à partir d'acier plat laminé à chaud, d'outils durcis par exemple par traitement thermique, de couteaux mécaniques notamment, comportant au minimum un chanfrein constituant un tranchant, caractérisé en ce que dans un profil plat (6, 12, 17), au minimum un, éventuellement deux, petit(s) côté(s) est (sont)façonné(s) en biais par laminage avec pincement du calibre des cylindres dans la dernière passe et forme(nt) un chanfrein (3, 11, 18) et une ébauche, dont le profil présente éventuellement une section transversale (9, 15, 22) de type trapèze ou parallélogramme pour l'essentiel, comporte au minimum un talon de laminage (8, 14, 20), dont la structure de matériau est homogène, talon, qui, lors du laminage, est, par refoulement du matériau hors de la cannelure, réalisé dans la zone (7, 21) du tranchant formée par l'angle aigu du côté latéral (5, 13, 19) et/ou du(des) chanfrein(s) (3, 11, 18) et des côtés obliques, pièce qui est durcie par un traitement thermique et finie par meulage au minimum dans la zone du talon de laminage (8, 14, 20).
2. Ebauche pour la fabrication à partir d'acier plat laminé à chaud d'outils durcis par exemple par traitement thermique, de couteaux mécaniques notamment, comportant au minimum un chanfrein constituant une arête de travail, un tranchant en particulier, caractérisée en ce que le profil de la coupe transversale (9, 15, 22), de 5 à 30 mm d'épaisseur et de 10 à 120 mm de largeur, présente dans la zone (7,21) de l'arête de travail ou du tranchant un talon de laminage (8, 14, 20) d'une épaisseur de 1 à 3 mm et dont le rapport épaisseur-largeur va de 1: 1 à 1: 3.
3. Ebauche selon la revendication 2, caractérisée en ce que, pour la réalisation de la zone de travail ou du tranchant (7, 21), les côtés (5, 13) et/ou le(s) chanfrein(s) (3, 11, 18) forme(nt) un angle de 30 à 90°, de 45 à 60° de préférence, le talon de laminage (8, 14, 20) constituant cette zone prévue dans la formation de l'arête de travail ou du tranchant pour la finition par meulage.
