Definitions

  • the invention relates to an office table according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such an office table is known from DE-A-251162.
  • Office tables of this type are generally known and in use, which for ergonomic reasons or for setting the most favorable position to the user are generally not only height-adjustable but also incline-adjustable with respect to the table top. Because of the freedom of movement of the legs underneath the table top that is as free as possible, such tables are designed more or less like a desk today, i.e. the table top is only cantilevered to the seat side between two side bolsters, at the lower ends of which cantilevered footrests are kept which are shorter compared to the table top are located. In such previously known tables, it is now relatively difficult to assign the table top to the two side bolsters or the actual table frame, both adjustable in height and inclination, since this leads to relatively complex fittings which are to be arranged between the table top and frame.
  • the known side bolsters for such tables are generally two-part telescopically shaped, cross-sectionally flat profile tubes, of which the parts which can be pulled out upwards must be connected by a suitable crossmember in order for the support and tilting fittings for the inclination adjustment of the To be able to attach the table top, since the relatively thin-walled profile tubes of the side cheeks cannot be used, in which, for the purpose of height adjustability, for example, adjusting spindles are arranged, which have to be connected to one another in order to be able to adjust evenly from an operating crank from both side cheeks.
  • the invention has for its object to improve an office table of the type mentioned in that the elements required for both the height and the inclination adjustment of the table top are easy to implement and the adjustment processes are easy to handle, with the proviso that No need to design side walls as two-part telescopically displaceable profile tubes and to be able to do without mechanically complex tilting fittings for tilting the table top.
  • This solution practically represents an adjustable triangle, the sides of which are formed by the slider, by the tabletop support strut and by the tabletop itself or the tabletop support, the entire triangle with its slider part being height-adjustable in the side cheek in question, i.e. the support struts and the table top take part in the height adjustment; but not the side walls, of which only a small part is designed as a guide channel for the slide rods, which will be explained in more detail. It is important that the table top is aligned with the upper ends of the side cheeks in the side cheeks vertical slot guides are arranged on the inside for the table top or table top support joints.
  • the guide channels arranged in the side walls are also used, in which simply compression springs sit under the slide rods.
  • the "normal position" of the table top thus corresponds to its maximum position, which does not require any special stop limitation, because the articulated processes on the slide rods, to which the support struts for the table top are articulated, ensure this.
  • the design according to the invention also creates the advantageous possibility of advantageously being able to attach a cable duct extending along the rear edge of the table top, the attachment of which is generally required on such tables, to the upper ends of the slide rods, which thus participates in any height adjustment and remains flush with the table top in every position. Starting from the "normal position", the table top in the office table according to the invention is therefore always adjusted between this normal position and a possible lowest position, which is defined by the lower edge of the slits involved in the side cheeks.
  • the office table consists of a frame 33 formed from two interconnected side walls 1, on which the table top 7 is arranged to be adjustable in height and inclination.
  • the table top 7 is arranged to be adjustable in height and inclination.
  • height-adjustable and fixable slide rods 4 are mounted, on the upper ends 5 of which the table top 7 is articulated and on which pivotable table top support supports 11 are arranged, the table top ends 12 of which are designed to be fixable with the table top 7 in at least two positions are.
  • the articulation of the table top 7 is not provided directly on the slide rods and the support beams 11, but between these elements and the table top 7, a support frame 15 is arranged as a table top support 8, on or on which the table top 7 in a suitable manner, in their level remaining, is slidably mounted in order to be able to access the cable duct 17, which is advantageously fastened to the slide rods 4.
  • the slide rods 4 are provided with clamping jaws 3 and with clamping screws 3 'which, according to FIG. 12, pass through the slide rods 4 in the region of a slot 4'.
  • Each slide rod 4 is elastically supported in the guide channels 2 by means of a compression spring 13 supported downwards, so that when the clamping screws 3 'are loosened, the table top 7 can be pressed down into the desired position and can be fixed in it by locking the two clamping screws 3'.
  • the slide rods 4 and the walls of the guide channels 2 are advantageously each equipped with a plurality of snap-locking elements 14 which, in selected positions, enable the correspondingly depressed table top 7 to be temporarily locked, which is then secured by tightening the clamping screws 3 '.
  • the tabletop support beams 11, which do not necessarily have to have the arched shape shown, are articulated on the slide rods 4 and are slidably and pivotably attached to the table top 7 ends 12 on the table top 7 or on the support frame 15, as shown in the exemplary embodiment.
  • small eccentric clamping elements 16 are suitable, with which a screw head can be clamped against the slotted link bracket 12 'at the end of each tabletop support bracket 11. Since the articulation point of each support bracket 11 also moves when the slide rods 4 are adjusted in height, the side cheeks 1 must of course be provided with a correspondingly long slot 10 in this area. The same applies to the joints 6 at the upper end of each slide rod to which the table top 7 or the support frame 15 is articulated.
  • These lateral slot guides on the side cheeks 1 are designated 29.
  • a locking linkage 35 (right side in FIG. 3) can be provided with an adjusting lever 36, with which the ends 12 of both support brackets 11 can then be fixed simultaneously.
  • the flank wall parts 18 of the side cheeks 1 are provided with a recessed wall part, as a result of which a cheek recess 19 is formed on the outside of each side cheek 1, in which the respective support bracket 11 is guided, as described, by means of those in the side cheek 1 arranged adjustable and fixable slide rod 4.
  • a roller 37 can be arranged, which sits on a connecting pin between the cheek-side end 20 of the support bracket 11 and the slide rod 4.
  • the other end 12 of the support bracket 11 on the table top is fixed on the table top 7 or on the support frame 15 in one way or another, as described for FIG. 3.
  • the table top 7 is advantageously arranged on a support frame 15 and the cable duct 17 on this or the slide rods 4, the table top 7 being displaceable parallel to the support frame 15 on this and in the end position on the trough-shaped and cable duct 17 which is open at the top is mounted so as to overlap.
  • 6, 7 at least one fitting 22 provided with roller 21 is provided under the table top 7, the respective roller 21 being guided on the supporting frame 15 and the supporting frame 15 being advantageously formed from hollow profiles 23 for this purpose.
  • the hollow profiles 23 forming the table top guide are provided with lateral profile recesses 24 (FIG. 8).
  • the rollers 21 arranged perpendicularly to the table top 7 engage in these lateral profile recesses 24 with their axis of rotation.
  • an advantageous and preferred embodiment consists in that a crank mechanism 25 is arranged at the upper end of each side cheek 1 and the two crank mechanisms 25 are connected to a common axis of rotation 26 mounted on the frame 33 or a frame traverse 30 are, the actuator 27 of each crank mechanism 25 is guided with the table top joint 6 in a vertical slot guide 29 of the side wall 1.
  • the actuator 27 is provided with a bent end 31 remote from the crank, on which the respective joint 6 is arranged.
  • crank drive 25 is designed to be fixable in different positions with respect to the frame 33, which is not shown in particular since the most varied of such fixings Offer possibilities (clamping screws, clamping screws, latching elements or the like) and also at the most varied of locations, ie either on the axis of rotation 26 itself or on the actuator 27 or the crank arm or in the region of the slot guide 29.
  • a compression spring 32 can also be assigned to each crank mechanism 25, which always pushes the crank mechanism into the highest position, whereby, unless another adjustment actuating element is provided (e.g. adjusting lever on the outer flank of one of the side walls 1 with the axis of rotation 4 in Connected), the height adjustment simply by exerting pressure on the table top 7 or the support frame 15 and the newly adopted height adjustment is fixed in a suitable manner with appropriate elements.
  • another adjustment actuating element e.g. adjusting lever on the outer flank of one of the side walls 1 with the axis of rotation 4 in Connected
  • the height adjustment simply by exerting pressure on the table top 7 or the support frame 15 and the newly adopted height adjustment is fixed in a suitable manner with appropriate elements.
  • the embodiment according to FIG. 11 is preferred, in which the office table is designed in such a way that the table top or table top support frame joints 6 of each crank mechanism 25 are connected in an articulated manner to the push rod 4 arranged in the side cheek 1 in question.
  • the two crank drives 25 connected by the axis of rotation 26 only have a parallel guide function.
  • the crank mechanisms are also advantageous, as is readily conceivable, for the height adjustment itself, namely if suitable means are provided on the axis of rotation 26 rigidly connecting the two crank mechanisms 25 so that they can be rotated. If, as mentioned above, fixing elements are arranged on at least one of the crank drives 25, the above-described fixing elements on the slide rods 4 can be omitted.
  • the compression springs 13 if 25 compression springs 32 are arranged on the crank drives.
  • 10 to 12 cm are sufficient, and all slots or slot guides are correspondingly long.
