Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Garnträger bestehend aus einer Hülse, die auf ihrer äußeren Mantelfäche an wenigstens einem Ende eine Markierung zur Kennzeichnung des Garns aufweist.The invention relates to a yarn carrier consisting of a sleeve which has on its outer surface at at least one end a marking for identifying the yarn.
Wenn ein Garn auf eine Hülse einmal aufgespult ist, können seine Art, Qualität oder sonstigen Eigenschaften nicht mehr ohne weiteres bestimmt werden. Zur Kennzeichnung des Garns wird deshalb die Hülse an einem oder beiden Enden, die vom Garnwickel nicht bedeckt werden, mit einer Markierung versehen. Bislang werden die Hülsen durch Bedrucken markiert, wobei aus Kostengründen fast nur das Flexodruckverfahren verwendet wird. Als Markierung werden verschiedenfarbige Drucksymbole, wie z.B. verschiedenfarbige Ringe, verwendet, wobei jeder Garnart oder Garnqualität oder dergleichen ein bestimmtes Drucksymbol, wie z.B. ein roter Ring, zugeordnet wird. Es ist einsichtig, daß die Unterscheidbarkeit der Drucksymbole und -farben um so schwieriger wird, je mehr Garnarten oder Garnqualitäten hergestellt werden, zumal die für die Bedruckung zur Verfügung stehenden Enden der Hülsen sehr schmal sind und die Drucksymbole und -farben bei sehr verschiedenen Lichtverhältnissen deutlich unterscheidbar sein müssen. Die Unterscheidbarkeit der Drucksymbole und -farben wird auch dadurch erschwert, daß das Flexodruckverfahren keine gute Druckqualität liefert. Die Verwendung von "guten" Druckverfahren, wie z.B. Siebdruck, scheitert nicht nur an den zu hohen Kosten,sondern auch an der schwierigen Integrierbarkeit dieser Druckverfahren in den Herstellungsprozeß für solche Garnträger. Ferner wird die Unterscheidbarkeit dadurch beeinträchtigt, daß bei Verwendung von Papier als Herstellungsmaterial für die Hülsen unterschiedliche Eigenfarben (grau bis bräunlich) des Papiers auftreten, welche die Druckfarben unterschiedlich herauskommen lassen. Da Garnverwechslungen zu immensen Schäden führen können, versucht man die Unterscheidbarkeit der Drucksymbole und -farben in der Praxis dadurch sicherzustellen, daß man sich auf wenige, unter allen auftretenden Bedingungen klar unterscheidbare Farben, d.h. etwa 6 bis 8 Farben, beschränkt. Das gleiche gilt für die verwendbaren Drucksymbole. Dies hat zur Folge, daß die noch zur Verfügung stehenden Farben und Drucksymbole oft nicht ausreichen, um sämtliche Garnarten und -qualitäten eines Garnherstellers zuverlässig zu kennzeichnen.Once a yarn has been wound onto a tube, its type, quality or other properties can no longer be easily determined. Durch die Verwendung von Etiketten als Markierung auf der Hülse steht nun eine fast unbegrenzte Vielfalt von klar unterscheidbaren Merkmalen oder Kombinationen von Merkmalen zur Kennzeichnung der Garne zur Verfügung, denn Etiketten können in einer großen Vielzahl von klar unterscheidbaren Farben bester Qualität in verschiedenen Formen und mit zusätzlichen deutlich erkennbaren und unterscheidbaren Symbolen, Zahlen, Buchstaben oder sonstigen eine Information über die Garne wiedergebenden Angaben durch Kennzeichnungsverfahren wie Bedrucken, Beschriften, Prägen, Perforieren usw. versehen werden. Die Etiketten können automatisch mit Hilfe von in der Getränkeindustrie üblichen Etikettiermaschinen während des Produktionsvorgangs des Garnträgers oder auch zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt an der Hülse angebracht werden. In jedem Fall kann bei der Zufuhr der Etiketten zu den Hülsen rasch ein Wechsel vorgenommen werden, wenn eine andere Garnkennzeichnung erforderlich ist. Für das Etikett kommen verschiedene Materialien in Betracht, wie z.B. Kunststoffolien. Vorzugsweise besteht das Etikett aber aus Papier und wird an der Hülse durch Kleben befestigt. Der Vorteil besteht darin, daß die Kosten für das Papier und den Klebstoff so gering sind, daß sie bei den Gesamtherstellungskosten des Garnträgers fast nicht ins Gewicht fallen. Es kann deshalb Papier bester Qualität in einer Vielfalt von deutlich unterscheidbaren Farben eingesetzt werden. Zum Bedrucken der Etiketten kann nun mit Druckverfahren gearbeitet werden, die bestmögliche Druckergebnisse erzielen. Die Farb- und Druckqualität der anzuklebenden Papieretiketten ist so hoch, daß praktisch eine unbegrenzte Anzahl von Markierungen verfügbar ist. Darüber hinaus eröffnet sich die Möglichkeit, die Kennzeichnung der Garne durch Strichcodes oder Beschriftungen vorzunehmen.
