Claims (7)

  1. A fountain pen comprising a body (1) and a cap (2) provided with a clip, of the type using ink cartridges which are accessible by way of the back end of said body, characterised in that the back end of said body is removable and is formed by a sub-assembly comprising a bell member (5) externally provided with a screwthread intended to receive the cap (2) and internally receiving on the one hand a fixing element (8) which is screwed into an internal tube (3) coaxial with respect to the body (1) and fixed with respect thereto, in which the ink cartridge is accommodated, said fixing element providing for immobilisation of the bell member with respect to the body, and on the other hand a pawl system (13, 16) for resisting the rotary movement of the bell member in the direction corresponding to unscrewing thereof and for permitting rotary movement thereof in the opposite direction.
  2. A fountain pen according to claim 1 characterised in that the pawl system with which the bell member (5) is fitted comprises a disc (13) which is fixed in respect of rotary and translatory movement with respect to the body (1) and which is notched on one of its faces for cooperation with a spring plate (16) which is fixed in respect of rotary movement with said bell member and comprises at least one tooth (16a) capable of moving resiliently away from contact with the notches (15) of said disc, when said bell member turns in the screwing direction, and coming into engagement with said notches in the opposite direction.
  3. A fountain pen according to claim 2 characterised in that said disc (13) and said plate (16) are mounted freely rotatably on an axis member which passes through the bottom of said bell member and the head of which, which is accessible from the exterior, is provided with a gripping member (11) which is preferably retractible.
  4. A fountain pen according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that a resilient return member (25) is interposed between said bell member and an element (6, 8d) which is fixed with respect to said fixing element.
  5. A fountain pen according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the cap (2) is internally provided with a counter-bell (29) with which it is fixed in respect of rotary movement and which is capable of being screwed on to the screwthreaded part of said bell member (5).
  6. A fountain pen according to claim 5 characterised in that a resilient return member (25) is interposed between said counter-bell (29) and a member (39) which is fixed with respect to the cap (2) in a position such that it is compressed during at least a part of the phase of screwing said counter-bell (29) on to said bell member (5).
  7. A fountain pen according to claim 5 characterised in that a resilient return member (34) is interposed between said counter-bell (29) and said cap (2) in a position such that it is compressed during at least a part of the phase of screwing said counter-bell (29) on to said bell member (5).
