Description

When laying a tile, it is necessary to ensure the proper application of stoneware tiles, or faience, or a similar material, on the laying screed (made of traditional mortar or mortar) arranged between the floor and the tiles.

Machines are already known that are capable of applying the tiles to the laying screed, which function by generating vibrations at 8,000 to 10,000 vibrations per minute and transmitting these vibrations to the tiles previously placed on the cement-glue layer. . This machine comprises a series of parallel rollers which allow the movement of the machine essentially by rolling on the surface of the tiles. In this type of known machine, the rollers are special, often made of rubber adhered to the roller shafts, these shafts being of relatively large width, equal to substantially the total width or half the total width of the machine, and being also rotatably mounted relative to the frame of the machine in special parts gathering the bearings of various trees.

All this leads to an expensive and fragile construction: costly by the number of special parts required (rolls, bearings not standardized), and fragile by the resumption of vibration forces by means of two small bearings per shaft. In addition, the change of a bearing can only be achieved by replacing with a non-standard spare part, because not standardized. In addition, the rollers used to date, in one or more sections, extend over the total width of the machine, which makes it necessary to use a volume and a large mass of material, which is expensive, the machine, which also causes considerable friction on the surface of the tiles during the change of direction of the tile application work, risking undesirably moving said tiles.

In short, known machines have several disadvantages Some of these weaknesses include a certain fragility, a marked tendency to wear the bearings, a quality of execution of work that is sometimes questionable and a significant cost.

The invention aims to propose a new machine free from the aforementioned drawbacks.

The invention therefore relates to a vibrating machine intended to carry out the application of sandstone tiles or the like of a tile on a bonding agglomerate arranged between a surface to be covered and said tile, constituted by a frame, a set of rollers , which, disposed under the frame, are mounted on parallel shafts, which (the rollers) are rotatably mounted relative to the frame and which have a common tangent plane and a vibration generating device coupled to the frame.

In this machine, each shaft is fixed to the frame being immobilized in the direction of rotation relative to this frame, each of the rollers carried by said shaft being further rotatably mounted on this shaft.

    - lesdites diverses entretoises sont identiques ;
    - les rouleaux portés par les divers arbrs sont disposés sensiblement en quinconce ;
    - chaque arbre est fixé sur le bâti par l'intermédiaire d'au moins deux supports d'arbre individuels, qui lui sont propres, qui sont eux même fixés sur le bâti et par rapport auxquels ledit arbre est immobilisé ;
    - chaque support d'arbre porte-rouleaux comporte un alésage taraudé, qui débouche dans un logement pour une partie dudit arbre et à l'intérieur duquel une première vis est susceptible d'être introduite complètement et d'être mise en appui sur cette partie de l'arbre afin d'immobiliser celui-ci par rapport audit support, dégageant, après introduction complète, la partie d'introduction de l'alésage taraudé, cependant qu'une deuxième vis est susceptible, en coopérant avec ladite partie d'introduction de l'alésage taraudé, de réaliser la fixation du support d'arbre sur le bâti ;
    - l'un des supports d'arbre est disposé entre deux rouleaux portés par ledit arbre, cette machine comportant en outre deux entretoises tubulaires, qui sont traversées par l'arbre porte-rouleaux, qui sont disposées de part et d'autre dudit support d'arbre et qui maintiennent l'écartement des deux dits rouleaux, étant de préférence identiques.

The machine shown comprises:
- a frame 1, consisting for example of an iron plate or steel, comprising a top face 1a and a bottom face 1 b;
- Several shafts 2, which are rigidly fixed to the frame, each by means of two supports 3, and whose geometric axes 4 are parallel;

Each support 3 is constituted by a steel parallelepiped, of square section, and comprises, on the one hand, a first bore 10 forming a housing that can be traversed, with zero or small clearance, by a shaft 2, secondly, a second bore 11, which is threaded, which extends perpendicularly to the axis of the first bore 10 and which opens at one of its ends, in said first bore 10, and at its other end, in the a 12 of square section faces which delimit the support. A first screw 13 cooperates with the second threaded bore 11 and penetrates fully into it until coming to bear on a shaft 2 previously introduced into the first bore 10 and thus to block said shaft relative to said support 3. A second screw 14 crosses a hole 15 formed in the frame 1, and, after application of the face 12 of the support 3 on the lower face 1b of the frame 1, cooperates with the portion of the second threaded bore 11, left free by the first screw 13, to achieve fixing the support 3 on the frame 1.

The upper face 7 of the tile is that of tiles 16, sandstone or faience, which are placed on a laying screed 17, mortar or the like, spread over a floor 18 to be covered by the tiles 16.

Chaque rouleau 5 a une longueur L5 et est maintenu espacé du suivant d'un écartement E, légérement supérieure à L5.Each roll 5 has a length L5 and is kept spaced from the next by a spacing E , slightly greater than L5 .

The shaft supports 3 are also arranged at one end of each shaft or between two rollers 5.

Two rollers 5, which follow each other, and between which no support 3 is arranged, are kept apart from E by means of a tubular spacer 19, which is threaded onto the shaft 2 and has a length equal to E.

    - une extrémité de chaque arbre 2 est fixée sur un support 3, l'autre extrémité présentant une collerette 21 de maintien en position du rouleau 5 adjacent sur l'arbre 2 correspondant ;
    - les divers arbres sont fixés au bâti 1 en des positions tells que les divers rouleaux sont eux mêmes régulièrement disposés en quinconce, un rouleau déterminé étant donc disposé en regard de deux emplacements vides, sans rouleaux, des arbres disposés, de part et d'autre de celui sur lequel est monté ledit rouleau déterminé ;
    - les longueurs des arbres 2 et leurs positions par rapport au bâti 1 ont pour conséquence que deux rouleaux 5 ou davantage dépassent légèrement du bâti, permettant de longer un mur sans l'endommager avec le bâti ;
    - les longueurs L5 et écartement E sont généralement choisis de manière (figure 5) que des rouleaux consécutifs puissent chevaucher un même carreau 16 à placer, tout au moins en ce qui concerne les dimensions usuelles de carreaux ;
    - en regard de la figure 5, divers carreaux 16 ont été représntés, le carreau carré central étant chevauché, au voisinage de ses quatre coins par quatre rouleaux 5 et au centre par un cinquième rouleau 5 : les flèches F5, H5 (opposées à F5), et R5 représentent le sens des déplacements des divers rouleaux 5, lors d'un changement désiré (flèche R1) du déplacement de la machine (et du bâti 1) ;
    les avantages inhérents à la nouvelle machine qui vient d'être décrite sont nombreux. Parmi eux, il convient de noter :
    - la machine, qui est relativement lourde, - de l'ordre de 20 à 30 kg -, qui se déplace sur des rouleaux montés à rotation par rapport à son bâti 1 et qui, par fonction, est animée de vibrations, est montée sur de très nombreux et très larges paliers de rotation, constitués par l'ensemble des alésages 6 des rouleaux 5 ; ainsi, les efforts sur chaque palier ont-ils une valeur faible, très inférieure à celle qui existait dans les paliers du bâti qui réalisaient le montage à rotation des arbres des machines antérieures ;
    - corrélativement, l'immobilisation des arbres 2 de cette nouvelle machine par rapport au bâti 1 par l'intermédiaire des supports 3 renforce la résistance de la machine ;
    - la fabrication de la machine, ou d'une gamme de machines de dimensions différentes, est aisée et peu coûteuse, en tout cas beaucoup moins coûteuse que celle des machines antérieures en effet, de manière nouvelle, les rouleaux 5, les arbres 2, les supports d'arbre 3 sont des ments normalisés du commerce, non spéciaux, donc fabriqués non spécialement et en grande série, et par suite avec un prix de revient faible ; de plus, les supports d'arbre 3 étant distincts du bâti 1, et individuels pour chaque arbre 2, il est aisé de monter sur le bâti le nombre d'arbres 2 porte-rouleaux désiré : il suffit de choisir les dimensions du bâti 1 adaptées au nombre d'arbres 2 choisi et au nombre de rouleaux 5 montés sur chaque arbre et de réaliser les perçages correspondants des trous 15 de passage de vis 14 ;
    - la fixation des arbres 2 est très sûre, car après la mise en place des vis 14 de fixation des supports 3 au bâti 1, les vis 13 de fixation des arbres 2 dans les supports 3 sont prisonnières et ne risquent pas de s'échapper ;
    - deux types seulement d'entretoises tubulaires 19 et 20 permettent le montage des rouleaux 5 sur les arbres 2, en un nombre quelconque désiré par arbre, et sont constitués par de banals tronçons de tubes ;
    - le poids total des rouleaux 5 est en outre considérablement réduit par rapport aux machines antérieures, dans lesquelles, les rouleaux s'étendaient de manière continue, sauf dans la zone des paliers de leur montage à rotation, le long de la largeur totale du bâti, alors que dans la nouvelle machine, il n'y a pas de rouleaux dans la zone des entretoises, c'est-à-dire en plusieurs emplacements, de largeur E pour chaque arbre 2 ;
    - la réduction du poids des rouleaux 5, déjà avantageuse sur le plan de l'utilisation de la machine, qui est plus facile guider que les machines antérieures, l'est aussi en ce qui concerne le volume et le coût du matériau constitutif desdits rouleaux 5 ;
    - la discontinuité, nouvelle, de l'ensemble des rouleaux montés sur un même arbre 2, est en outre avantageuse pour ce qui concerne la qualité du travail effectué : lorsque l'utilisateur a l'intention de faire pivoter sa machine au-dessus de la surface du carrelage 8 (flèche R1 de la figure 5), les rouleaux 5 correspondants aux flèches F5 et H5 roulent pratiquement sans frottement sur le carreau 16 correspondant : seul le rouleau 5 central doit pivoter sur lui-même dans le sens de la flèche R5 et a tendance, par frottement, à entraîner dans la même direction, le carreau 16 sur lequel il repose ; mais il faut noter que si ce frottement reste gênant, il est très inférieur à celui que provoquaient les rouleaux continus des machines antérieures : dans ces machines, le frottement était celui de trois rouleaux parallèles s'étendant sur la largeur complète du carreau 16, et l'effort de pivotement agissant sur le carreau 16 dans le sens de la flèche R5 était très important ;
    - il est par ailleurs évident que le remplacement, avec des pièces de rechange neuves banales, de pièces usées de la nouvelle machine peut être réalisé à un faible coût, et de plus, avec une main d'oeuvre non spécialisée, car il n'y a aucun réglage mécanique délicat à réaliser, ce qui n'était pas le cas avec les montages des arbres des machines antérieurs dans des paliers de rotation spéciaux.
Two rollers 5, which follow each other, and between which is arranged a support 3, are kept apart from E by means of the support 3 of width L3 and two identical tubular spacers 20, each of length L20 , arranged, one between one of the rollers and a first side of the support 3, the other between the other roll and the side of the support 3 opposite said first side of the support. Of course: L3 + (L20) × 2 = E. It should be noted the following provisions:
- One end of each shaft 2 is fixed on a support 3, the other end having a flange 21 for holding in position the adjacent roller 5 on the corresponding shaft 2;
the various shafts are fixed to the frame 1 in positions such that the various rollers are themselves regularly arranged in staggered rows, a determined roll therefore being arranged facing two empty spaces, without rollers, shafts arranged, on both sides, other than that on which is mounted said determined roll;
- The lengths of the shafts 2 and their positions relative to the frame 1 have the consequence that two rollers 5 or more slightly exceed the frame, allowing to walk along a wall without damaging it with the frame;
the lengths L5 and the distance E are generally chosen (FIG. 5) as consecutive rolls may overlap the same tile 16 to be placed, at least as regards the usual dimensions of tiles;
- With reference to FIG. 5, various tiles 16 have been represented, the central square tile being overlapped, in the vicinity of its four corners by four rollers 5 and in the center by a fifth roll 5: the arrows F5, H5 (opposite to F5 ), and R5 represent the direction of movement of the various rollers 5, at a desired change (arrow R1) of the movement of the machine (and the frame 1);
the advantages inherent in the new machine which has just been described are numerous. Among them, it should be noted:
- The machine, which is relatively heavy, - of the order of 20 to 30 kg - which moves on rollers rotatably mounted relative to its frame 1 and which, by function, is driven by vibrations, is mounted on very numerous and very wide rotational bearings, constituted by all the bores 6 of the rollers 5; thus, the forces on each bearing have a low value, much lower than that which existed in the bearings of the frame which carried out the rotational assembly of the shafts of the previous machines;
- Correlatively, the immobilization of the shafts 2 of the new machine relative to the frame 1 through the supports 3 strengthens the strength of the machine;
- The manufacture of the machine, or a range of machines of different sizes, is easy and inexpensive, in any case much cheaper than that of prior machines indeed, in a new way, the rollers 5, the shafts 2, the shaft supports 3 are standard items of the trade, non-special, therefore not specially manufactured and in large series, and consequently with a low cost price; in addition, the shaft supports 3 being separate from the frame 1, and individual for each shaft 2, it is easy to mount on the frame the number of shafts 2 desired roller holder: simply choose the dimensions of the frame 1 adapted to the number of shafts 2 chosen and to the number of rollers 5 mounted on each shaft and to make the holes corresponding holes 15 screw passage 14;
- Fixing the shafts 2 is very safe, because after the establishment of the screws 14 for fixing the supports 3 to the frame 1, the screws 13 for fixing the shafts 2 in the supports 3 are trapped and are not likely to escape ;
- Only two types of tubular spacers 19 and 20 allow the mounting of the rollers 5 on the shafts 2, in any desired number per shaft, and are constituted by ordinary sections of tubes;
the total weight of the rollers 5 is furthermore considerably reduced compared to prior machines, in which the rollers extended continuously, except in the bearing zone of their rotational mounting, along the total width of the frame , while in the new machine, there are no rollers in the zone of the spacers, that is to say in several locations, of width E for each shaft 2;
- The reduction of the weight of the rollers 5, already advantageous in terms of the use of the machine, which is easier to guide than the previous machines, is also in regard to the volume and cost of the material of said rollers 5;
the discontinuity, new, of all the rollers mounted on the same shaft 2, is also advantageous with regard to the quality of work done: when the user intends to rotate his machine over the surface of the tile 8 (arrow R1 of Figure 5), the rollers 5 corresponding to the arrows F5 and H5 roll virtually frictionless on the corresponding tile 16: only the central roller 5 must pivot on itself in the direction of the arrow R5 and tends, by friction, to drive in the same direction, the tile 16 on which it rests; but it should be noted that if this friction remains troublesome, it is much lower than that caused by the continuous rollers of earlier machines: in these machines, the friction was that of three parallel rollers extending over the full width of the tile 16, and the pivoting force acting on the tile 16 in the direction of the arrow R5 was Very important ;
- It is also clear that the replacement, with ordinary new spare parts, of worn parts of the new machine can be achieved at a low cost, and more, with unskilled labor, because it does not there is no delicate mechanical adjustment to be made, which was not the case with the shaft assemblies of the previous machines in special rotational bearings.

The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown, but covers all the variants that could be made without departing from its scope or its spirit.
