Definitions
- the invention is based on a winding machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a winding machine for producing filament filaments with straight or approximately straight interruptions is described, for example, in DE-AS 1 148 326.
- the interruptions are produced with the aid of a pin which is rotatably mounted in tips and which abuts the core wire in a stationary manner immediately behind the winding nozzle.
- Two rollers are attached parallel to the pen and at a certain distance from it. During the production of the interruption, they rub against the core wire above and below it. The distance between the pin and the two rollers determines the length of the interruption.
- the roll above the core wire is not in contact with the core wire.
- the object of the invention is to provide a winding machine for producing filament filaments with straight interruptions, which ensures a consistently high quality of filament filaments both with large and very small wire diameters. These are primarily simply coiled incandescent bodies.
- the main advantage of the invention is that the committee can be kept low with interruptions in the manufacture of filament filaments.
- the reject can be reduced for small wire diameters (approx. 50 - 150 ⁇ m).
- the improved quality of the filament filament that can be achieved with the aid of this invention is also manifested in a longer service life and in a more constant luminous flux of the lamp operated thereby.
- the filament filaments are produced on a winding machine known per se, as described in detail, for example, in DE-AS 1 148 326.
- a core wire is continuously unwound from an unwinding drum at a constant feed speed and wound onto a winding drum.
- the core wire is constantly tensioned.
- Several disks are arranged on a shaft between the two drums, the core wire running through an axial bore in the shaft.
- the discs on the shaft are used for input and output, for example with the help of a brake magnetic coupling.
- the winding head sits on the last disc. It has a supply spool or reel for the winding wire (made of tungsten), with the reel sitting centrally (or eccentrically) on the shaft.
- FIG. 1 shows a side view of the end of the winding head 1.
- the winding wire 2 is passed over a deflection element of the winding head 1 (not shown) - for example via a deflection roller as described in DE-AS 1 148 326 is - directed to the winding nozzle 3, from whose axial bore the core wire 4 emerges.
- the winding nozzle 3 keeps the core wire 4 aligned.
- the arrows indicate the direction of movement of the winding wire 2 and the core wire 4.
- pliers 7 are arranged immediately behind the winding nozzle 3.
- the pliers 7 are mounted vertically above the core wire 4 (a complete description of the pliers 7 is given with reference to FIGS. 5 and 6) and has two jaws 8 which are in alignment in the side view according to FIG.
- the end 9 of each jaw 8 provided for gripping the core wire 4 bifurcates into two arms 10, 11 arranged one behind the other along the core wire 4.
- Both arms 10, 11 are rigidly fastened to the jaw 8 (for example by means of screw connections, as shown in FIG. 1) .
- the arms 10, 11 end in handle tips 10a, 10b and 11a, 11b made of hard metal (Widia of the GT 05 type) (only the handle tips 10a, 11a of the cheek located in the foreground are shown in FIG. 1).
- the distance "d" (see FIG. 3) between the end of the handle tip 10a attached to the front arm 10 and the end of the handle tip 11a attached to the rear arm 11 remote from the winding head 1 corresponds precisely to the desired length of the interruption 5 between each two filament filaments 6. Since this length is relatively small (in the order of a few millimeters), the rear arm 11 is angled in a Z-shape toward the front arm 10.
- the handle tips 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b are each attached to the arms 10, 11 by means of brazing.
- FIG. 1 The arrangement according to FIG. 1 is shown again in plan view in FIG. The situation is shown immediately before the start of the production of a new filament.
- the handle tips 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b of the two jaws 8, shown in section, are still arranged directly in front of the winding nozzle 3, corresponding to the rest position of the pliers 7.
- the two jaws 8 have just closed (arrow); the core wire 4 is thus clamped both between the handle tips 10a and 10b of the front arms 10 and between the handle tips 11a and 11b of the rear arms 11.
- the winding wire 2 continuously unwound from the reel is positioned approximately vertically above the core wire 4 when the winding head 1 is at rest.
- the rear pair of arms 11 is designed to be resilient. Because of the inevitable manufacturing tolerances, it would only be possible to apply all four handles at the same time with disproportionately high effort in the case of rigid arms.
- the handle tips 11a, 11b of the rear pair of arms 11 are offset from one another by a half slope of the filament 6 to be produced. This ensures that on both sides of the core wire 4, the handle tips 11a, 11b immediately at the end of the last manufactured helical filament 6 rest.
- the handle tip 11b pushes the winding wire in the direction of the core wire 4 in the direction of the core wire 4 at the end of the reel of the last manufactured filament 6 and thereby generates the angled start of the next interruption.
- the next filament is now produced in accordance with FIG. 3.
- the winding wire 2 is guided in a known manner from the conical end of the winding nozzle 3.
- the still closed pliers 7 is carried by the core wire 4 as a result of the clamping force of the pair of jaws 8 (arrow), the continuous feed of the core wire (arrow) in a known manner from the winding drum (not shown) is performed.
- the tongs 7 are deflected from their rest position during this period. The pliers 7 remain in engagement until the new filament 6 is completed.
- the winding head 1 is braked (FIG. 4), so that the next interruption can now be formed because of the continuous advancement of the core wire 4.
- the pliers 7 are now opened, possibly with a slight delay (drop-out switching, see below) and swings back quickly into their starting position immediately in front of the winding nozzle 4 (the length of the arrow in FIG. 4 is intended to be the amount of the speed compared to the feed speed of the core wire 4 symbolize).
- the pliers 7 close again and the winding process can start again (see FIG. 2).
- the two jaws 8 of the pliers 7 are symmetrical to each other.
- the jaws 8 are rigidly attached to the two arms 10, 11 arranged one behind the other.
- a gripping movement of the ends 9 of each jaw 8 is made possible in that the jaws 8 are each fastened via a joint 12 to a carrier plate 13 arranged in parallel behind them.
- two rollers 14 are attached.
- the conical tip of a plunger 15, coming from above, lies between the two rollers 14.
- the plunger 15 can be moved in the region of the rollers 14 by means of an electromagnet 16 (shown symbolically in FIG.
- the duration of a cycle of opening and closing the tong 7 is adjustable between 10 ms and 200 ms.
- the electromagnet 16 is most easily connected in parallel with the brake magnetic coupling of the winding head 1.
- it can also be switched on or off with a delay, so that more time is available for the movements of the pliers 7.
- the pliers 7 are rotatably supported by means of an axis 18, the pivot point expediently being located exactly above the outlet opening of the winding nozzle 3.
- the axis 18 is arranged at the upper end of the carrier plate 13 and is held by a stationary support frame.
- the handle tips 10a, 10b of the front are located Arms 10 directly in front of the winding nozzle 3.
- the handle tips 11a, 11b of the rear arms 11 are arranged behind them at a distance which corresponds to the length of an interruption. (Strictly speaking, this only applies to one of the two handle tips 11a, 11b, see below).
- the pliers 7 are carried along by the core wire 4 due to the clamping force. It is actually a rotary movement about the axis 18.
- the deflection of the pliers 7 from the rest position is very slight, however, it is of the order of the length (typically a few millimeters) of a filament 6 (see FIGS. 2 to 4).
- the leg length that is the distance between the handle tips 10a, 10b and the axis 18, is so large (typically 150 mm) that this rotary movement can be understood in a very good approximation as a linear movement of the pliers 7 along the core wire 4 can.
- the structure of the arms 10, 11 is also clearly visible.
- the front arms 10 are each cranked, the gripping legs 20, 21 of the crank are inclined towards each other.
- the angle of inclination of the legs 20, 21 against the vertical is different for the two front arms 10; this is related to the freedom of movement of the winding wire between the two front arms 10 during the rotational movement of the winding head.
- the mutually facing inner surfaces 22 of the two legs 20, 21 are reinforced with platelets (not visible) made of hard metal (e.g. Widia of the GT 05 type) in order to counteract the wear caused by rubbing the winding wire.
- the rear arms 11 are made of spring-hard spring steel to achieve resilient properties. They are bent inwards at their lower end (the arms 11 of both jaws 8 being symmetrical to one another). The two arms 11 are offset from each other by a half slope of the filament to be produced.
- the spiral filament described in more detail in Figure 7 is e.g. by an offset of 22 ⁇ m.
- the length of the interruption can be regulated within certain limits ( ⁇ 1.5 mm), for example by placing the arms 11 on the End 9 of the jaws 8 are fastened with screws and have elongated holes (not visible) for screw fastening.
- front or rear arms refers to the position relative to the winding nozzle and is therefore apparently incorrect in the view in FIG.
- FIG. 7 shows a simply coiled incandescent body 6 produced by means of the pliers 7.
- the diameter of the winding wire 2 is 24 ⁇ m.
- the diameter of the core wire known to be etched out at the end of the production process was 90 ⁇ m, so that the outer diameter of the primary helix is 138 ⁇ m.
- the pitch, which is set by the feed speed of the core wire, is 44 ⁇ m, corresponding to a distance of 20 ⁇ m between adjacent turns of the filament 6.
- the straight interruptions are 2 mm long due to the cutting.
- Such filament incandescent bodies are used in particular in the case of miniature incandescent lamps of low power (a few watts) and low voltage (12-24 V), as are required, for example, for automotive lighting.
- the straight interruptions facilitate the exact adjustment of the filament in the holding devices formed by the ends of the power leads, which are usually eyelets or hooks.
- the exemplary embodiment shown is a winding machine for producing simply coiled glow describes the body, the invention is not limited to this.
- the winding machine according to the invention also makes it possible to produce double-coiled incandescent bodies.

Description
The invention is based on a winding machine according to the preamble of
A winding machine for producing filament filaments with straight or approximately straight interruptions is described, for example, in DE-AS 1 148 326. The interruptions are produced with the aid of a pin which is rotatably mounted in tips and which abuts the core wire in a stationary manner immediately behind the winding nozzle. Two rollers are attached parallel to the pen and at a certain distance from it. During the production of the interruption, they rub against the core wire above and below it. The distance between the pin and the two rollers determines the length of the interruption. During the winding of the filament, the roll above the core wire is not in contact with the core wire. This arrangement, in which neither the pin nor the rollers are moved along the core wire, is particularly well suited for the winding of wires with diameters greater than 200 µm. With smaller wire diameters (eg 50 - 150 µm), however, the quality of the filament filament no longer meets the requirements. The lack of frictional connection between the core wire and the reel or pin leads to an increased reject because the thin winding wire between the core wire and the reel or Pen slips through and the interruptions have different lengths. When using winding wire, the diameter of which is significantly less than 50 µm, it is no longer technically possible to produce correspondingly small pins and rolls.
The object of the invention is to provide a winding machine for producing filament filaments with straight interruptions, which ensures a consistently high quality of filament filaments both with large and very small wire diameters. These are primarily simply coiled incandescent bodies.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of
The main advantage of the invention is that the committee can be kept low with interruptions in the manufacture of filament filaments. In particular, the reject can be reduced for small wire diameters (approx. 50 - 150 µm). Finally, it is also possible to produce filament filaments with straight interruptions, which due to a very small wire diameter (typically 10 - 30 µm) can no longer be produced with a pin and roller system.
The improved quality of the filament filament that can be achieved with the aid of this invention is also manifested in a longer service life and in a more constant luminous flux of the lamp operated thereby.

The filament filaments are produced on a winding machine known per se, as described in detail, for example, in DE-AS 1 148 326. A core wire is continuously unwound from an unwinding drum at a constant feed speed and wound onto a winding drum. The core wire is constantly tensioned. Several disks are arranged on a shaft between the two drums, the core wire running through an axial bore in the shaft. The discs on the shaft are used for input and output, for example with the help of a brake magnetic coupling. The winding head sits on the last disc. It has a supply spool or reel for the winding wire (made of tungsten), with the reel sitting centrally (or eccentrically) on the shaft.
Die Griffspitzen 10a, 10b, 11a, 11b sind an den Armen 10, 11 jeweils mittels Hartlötung befestigt.FIG. 1 shows a side view of the end of the winding
The arrangement according to FIG. 1 is shown again in plan view in FIG. The situation is shown immediately before the start of the production of a new filament. The
The time at which the
By further rotation (arrow) of the winding head 1 (including the
Figur 2).At this moment, the winding
In this way, an uninterrupted strand of filament
The complete structure of the
The two
After the
After opening the
In the front view of the
The length of the interruption can be regulated within certain limits (± 1.5 mm), for example by placing the
It should be noted that the designation "front or rear arms" refers to the position relative to the winding nozzle and is therefore apparently incorrect in the view in FIG.
Such filament incandescent bodies are used in particular in the case of miniature incandescent lamps of low power (a few watts) and low voltage (12-24 V), as are required, for example, for automotive lighting. The straight interruptions facilitate the exact adjustment of the filament in the holding devices formed by the ends of the power leads, which are usually eyelets or hooks.
Although the exemplary embodiment shown is a winding machine for producing simply coiled glow describes the body, the invention is not limited to this. The winding machine according to the invention also makes it possible to produce double-coiled incandescent bodies.
With this winding machine, the production speed can be increased by about 10% compared to a conventional winding machine equipped with a pin and rollers.
