Description

Anordnung eines Aggregates mittels der Verschraubung eines hochbelasteten Maschinenteils, insbesondere bei BrennkraftmaschinenArrangement of an assembly by means of the screw connection of a highly stressed machine part, especially in internal combustion engines

The invention relates to an arrangement of a unit according to the preamble of the main claim.

From US-A 1 667 728 it is known to hold a lubricating oil pump by means of the screw connection of the bearing cover of a split crankshaft bearing of an internal combustion engine. The holding flanges of the pump housing are subject to the pre-tensioning of the screw connection required for the secure holding of the bearing cover. The material selected for the pump housing must accordingly be pressure-resistant. In the case of highly loaded bearing caps with only two screw bolts for mounting on the bearing bracket, deflections of the bearing cover can also occur, which strain the pump housing integrated in the screw connection of the bearing cover. In this case, a material with a relatively high tensile strength must be selected for the pump housing. In each of the cases mentioned, a relatively expensive material is therefore required for the pump housing.

Nachteilig bei dieser Art der zweiteiligen Verschraubung ist die gegenseitige Beeinflußung der Verschraubungen beim Anziehen und Lösen.DE-PS 538 769 shows and describes a flange connection for capacitor bottoms, the screw connection serving to mutually brace several flanges of components. The screw connection is designed in two parts such that when a screw connection part is loosened to remove a component, the flanges of the remaining components remain clamped by means of the other screw connection part. For this purpose, the screw connection comprises threaded bolts in both end regions with stop collars arranged between the threads. These interact on one side with recesses in an intermediate flange. The stop collars are arranged at a distance from the immediately adjacent, releasable flange in order to achieve a sealing connection between the flanges such that the stop collars are countersunk in the intermediate flange. A disadvantage of this type of two-part screw connection is the mutual influence of the screw connections when tightening and loosening.

The invention has for its object to show an arrangement by means of the screwing of a highly loaded machine part, by means of which an immediate clamping of the unit for its mounting is avoided.

This object is achieved in a generic arrangement with the features of the characterizing part of the main claim. The advantage of the invention lies in the indirect connection of the unit with the screw connection of the highly stressed machine part, so that the specific requirements of the pump operation can be better taken into account when choosing the material for the pump housing.

In order to be able to arrange a lubricating oil pump held by the screwing of a highly loaded bearing cover of a split crankshaft bearing of an internal combustion engine away from the area of greatest elastic deformation of the bearing cover, it is proposed in a further embodiment of the invention that the bearing cover screw connection comprises inner and outer screw bolts and the lubricating oil pump or another unit is arranged on the outer bolts in the manner according to the invention. This significantly reduces the influence of the bearing cap deformation on the screw connection on the housing of the lubricating oil pump or another unit. If the outer screw bolts are designed according to a further feature as cap screws, this results in the advantage in the assembly process of the internal combustion engine that the screw connection for this bearing cap can be carried out completely and finally in the case of a bearing cap with an associated unit. The separate mounting of the lubricating oil pump or of an assembly on the screw connection of the bearing cover allows the respective assembly to be installed independently of the screw connection of the bearing cover at a time that is favorable for the assembly of the internal combustion engine.

Furthermore, if the outer screw bolts are arranged inclined to the longitudinal plane of the machine in order to distribute the crankshaft bearing load more evenly in the transverse wall carrying the crankshaft bearing, one of the screw bolts is preferably equipped with a threaded bolt with nut as a holding means for the unit. Furthermore, if the unit is a lubricating oil pump, it can have an outflow channel adjacent to the threaded bolt, which is arranged with a crankcase-side line essentially parallel to the common axis of the bolt and threaded bolt, with a connecting pipe inserted with radial play in the outflow channel and line in both end regions is centered in each case by means of elastic radial sealing rings. This parallel assignment of the holding means and the connecting tube results in a simplified assembly of the lubricating oil pump, wherein misalignments are automatically compensated for by the elastic radial sealing rings.

The aforementioned assignment and design is particularly advantageous for a lubricating oil pump driven by the crankshaft via an enveloping gear with an adjusting device for tensioning the traction means of the enveloping gear. The adjusting device can be a threaded bushing which is arranged rotatably in the fastening point opposite the threaded bolt in a threaded through-hole and via which the lubricating oil pump or another unit rests on the stop surface on the head of an outer screw bolt. If the nut on the threaded bolt of the first fastening point of the lubricating oil pump is moderately loosened, the tension in the traction mechanism of the sheathing gear can be adjusted by turning the threaded bushing in the second fastening point. The tilting movement carried out by the lubricating oil pump around the first fastening point of the threaded bolt is due to the elastic at both ends stored connecting tube in the lubricating oil delivery circuit compensated in an advantageous manner. For the final fastening of the lubricating oil pump, in addition to the threaded bolt with its nut, a holding screw is provided which penetrates the threaded bushing and can be screwed into the head of the outer threaded bolt of the second fastening point.

The invention is described with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.

A split crankshaft bearing 13 is arranged in an outer wall 10 of a crankcase 11 of a transverse wall 12 connecting an internal combustion engine, not shown. The crankshaft bearing 13 comprises a bearing cover 14 with flange tabs 15. Screw bolts 17, which are parallel to a longitudinal plane 16 of the machine, connect the bearing cover 14 to the transverse wall 12. Further screw bolts 18 and 19 penetrate the flange tabs 15 supported against the transverse wall 12 by means of spacer bushes 20 and additionally tension the cover 14 on the transverse wall 12. The outer bolts 18 and 19 are arranged inclined to the longitudinal plane 16 of the machine at an angle with a crown on the bearing cover side. Each of the outer bolts 18 and 19 is designed as a cap screw, each with a stop surface 22 opposite a machine-side clamping surface 21 for arranging an assembly 23. Furthermore, the head 24 of the outer screw bolt 18 is provided with a threaded bolt 25, while the head 26 of the other outer screw bolt 19 is equipped with a sack lock thread 27. The threaded bolt 25 with a nut 28 and the blind hole thread 27 form devices for a separate mounting of the unit 23 on the outer bolts 18 and 19 of the bearing cap screw connection.

An assembly 23 serving as a lubricating oil pump bears against the stop surfaces 22 of the outer screw bolts 18 and 19. The lubricating oil pump 23 has an outflow channel 29 which is adjacent to the first fastening point with the threaded bolt 25 and which is arranged with a line 30 on the crankcase essentially parallel to the common axis of the threaded bolt 18 and the threaded bolt 25. A connecting tube 31 inserted in the outflow channel 29 and in the line 30 with radial play is centered in both end regions by means of an elastic radial sealing ring 32.

The lubricating oil pump 23 is driven by an endless traction means 33 of an enveloping gear 34 from the crankshaft, not shown. The lubricating oil pump 23 is equipped in its second fastening point, which is formed with the screw bolt 19, with a threaded bushing 36 which is arranged in a threaded through bore 35 so as to be rotatable and which bears against the stop surface 22 on the head 26 of the screw bolt 19. About the threaded bush 36, the lubricating oil pump 23 for tensioning the traction means 33 when the retaining bolt 37 of the second fastening point is removed and the nut 28 loosened on the threaded bolt 25 of the first fastening point. The tilting movements carried out by the lubricating oil pump 23 around the threaded bolt 25 for tensioning the traction means 33 are absorbed by the radial sealing rings 32 centering the connecting pipe 31. To fasten the lubricating oil pump 23 to the bolts 18 and 19 of the screw connection for the bearing cover 14, on the one hand the nut 28 is clamped on the threaded bolt 25 against a holding flange 38 of the lubricating oil pump 23. On the other hand, the holding bolt 37, which coaxially engages the threaded bushing 36 with play and can be screwed into the head 26 of the threaded bolt 19, clamps a holding flange 39 of the lubricating oil pump 23 via the threaded bushing 36 against the head 26 of the outer threaded bolt 19 of the bearing cap screw connection.

With the arrangement described above, a mounting of a lubricating oil pump 23 decoupled from the pretensioning forces of the bearing cap screw connection is achieved, the disadvantageous influence of bearing cap deformations on the mounting of the lubricating oil pump 23 being considerably reduced by the arrangement of the lubricating oil pump 23 on outer bolts 18 and 19 of the screwing of a highly loaded bearing cap 14 is. Since the housing of the lubricating oil pump 23 is thus exposed to significantly lower loads due to its arrangement on the heavily loaded bearing cover 14, an operating-specific, more economical and inexpensive material can advantageously be selected for the housing.
