Description

The present invention relates to a nozzle for dispensing a foaming product intended to be mounted on a pressurized container equipped with an emerging stem valve according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a tip generally comprises a fixing element ensuring its retention on the container and a dispensing element which is movable relative to this fixing element. The dispensing element comprises, on the one hand, an internal bore intended to receive in leaktight manner the emerging stem of the valve and, on the other hand, a distribution tube whose internal channel communicates with the bore. The apex of the emerging rod occupies in this bore a first level, called the lower level, when the distribution element is not subjected to any action by a user, and a second level, called the upper level, when the user acts on the distribution element for causing the distribution of the product contained in the pressurized container.

Thus, when the user exerts pressure on the dispensing element, it causes, on the one hand, the opening of the valve with which the container is provided and consequently an ejection of the product contained in this container in the tube and , on the other hand, a depression of the lower part of the tube around the valve stem thanks to the bore. The foaming product is therefore ejected into the tube and delivered to the upper part thereof where the user can collect the quantity of foaming product delivered. As soon as the user releases his pressure on the dispensing element, it causes the valve to close: no foaming product is therefore no longer ejected into the tube and consequently collected at the upper end of the latter. But the small amount of foaming product that is still there. located inside the tube, that is to say in the inner channel of the latter remains there: after a certain time, the foaming product remaining in the tube will tend to liquefy so that '' it will flow along the wall of the tube to the emerging stem of the valve. The liquefied foam can thus penetrate this rod where it will dry, thereby causing blockage of the latter and non-functioning of the valve when the user presses on the dispensing element after a certain period of time. .

Also one of the aims of the present invention is to provide a nozzle of the type described above which overcomes this drawback while being simple and economical.

This object as well as others which will appear subsequently, are achieved by a nozzle for dispensing a foaming product of the aforementioned type, which is characterized, according to the present invention, by the fact that, in the lower wall of the bore is formed at least one groove whose apex is disposed between the above and lower levels above and whose base opens above the valve cup in an area of the bore which is not closed by the valve stem.

Preferably, the bore area, into which the base of the groove (s) opens, has a flared shape, the large section of which is closest to the valve cup and the small section of which connects to a zone of the bore whose cross section is substantially that of the emerging rod, this latter zone containing the top of the groove (s). This flared area of the bore is, for example, frustoconical.

Advantageously, the taiésage zone whose cross section is substantially that of the emerging rod, is a cylindrical zone with circular cross section, the top of the emerging rod coming, at its upper level, in abutment against an annular shoulder in the central area from which the inner channel of the distribution tube opens.

Preferably, the end piece comprises a plurality of grooves. This (these) is (or are) substantially parallel (s) to the axis of the bore.

Advantageously, the groove (s) has (or have), in the zone of the bore whose cross section is substantially that of the emerging rod, a rectangular cross section.

When the end piece has several grooves, these are preferably regularly distributed in the wall of the bore.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the element for fixing the end piece to the container is a collar snapped onto the crimping bead of the valve cup. In this case, the dispensing element comprises a plate secured to the flange by an elastic hinge, this plate being provided with a pusher element and carrying the distribution tube which is arranged substantially perpendicular to the plate.

  • - la figure 1 est une vue extérieure d'un récipient pressurisé comportant un embout selon la présente invention ;

  • - la figure 3 est une vue à plus grande échelle de la zone A de la figure 2 lorsqu'aucune action n'est exercée sur la valve du récipient pressurisé ;
The description which follows and which does not have any limiting character, must be read with reference to the appended figures among which:
  • - Figure 1 is an external view of a pressurized container comprising a nozzle according to the present invention;
  • - Figure 2 is a vertical section of the upper part of the pressurized container of Figure 1 comprising this nozzle;
  • - Figure 3 is an enlarged view of the area A of Figure 2 when no action is exerted on the valve of the pressurized container;
  • - Figure 4 corresponds to Figure 3 when an action is exerted on the valve of the pressurized container; and
  • - Figure 5 is a cross section along the line VV of Figure 3.

As can be seen in particular in FIGS. 1 and 2, a nozzle, designated as a whole by the reference 1, for dispensing a foaming product enclosed in a pressurized container 2, includes as a fixing element, a flange 3 making it possible to fix it by snap-fastening on the crimping bead of the valve cup 4. It also includes a dispensing element which consists of a plate 6 secured to the collar 3 by an elastic hinge 5. This elastic hinge 5 is relatively thick for have a memory allowing, after use, a return to a substantially horizontal position of the plate 6. This plate 6 is provided with a pusher element 8, or push button, and carries a distribution tube 7 which is arranged substantially perpendicular to the plate 6, according to the present embodiment.

This tube has at its lower part, that is to say that by which it is connected to the plate 6, an internal bore 9 intended to receive in leaktight manner the emerging rod 10 of the valve with which this pressurized container 2 is provided. : this is particularly visible in Figure 3. The top of the emerging rod 10 of the valve occupies in the bore 9 a first level, called lower, as shown in Figure 3, when a user exerts no action on the push button 8, and a second level, called the upper level, when the user acts on this push button 8 to cause the dispensing of a quantity of product.

According to the present invention, in the lower wall of the bore 9 are provided grooves 11 whose vertices are disposed between the lower and upper levels and whose bases open above the valve cup 4, in an area of bore 9 which is not closed by the emerging rod 10 of the valve. These grooves 11, which in this example are eight in number, are regularly distributed in the wall of the bore 9, and are substantially parallel to the axis of this bore 9.

The zone of the bore 9, into which the base of the grooves 11 opens, has a tapered flared shape, the large section of which is closest to the valve cup 4 and the small section of which is connected to a zone of the bore 9, the cross section of which is substantially that of the emerging rod with the clearance required to allow the sliding of this rod in the bore 9. In this latter zone, the grooves 11 have their apex located therein and have a rectangular cross section. This same zone is cylindrical with a circular cross section, the top of the emerging rod coming, at its upper level, in sealed support with an annular shoulder 12 in the central zone from which the internal channel 13 of the distribution tube 7 opens.

When the user exerts a pressure on the push button 8, as represented by the arrow F in FIG. 4, he lowers the plate 6 by rotation around the hinge 5 so that the opening of the valve is caused. Foaming product is then ejected from the container 2 into the tube 7: the user collects foaming product at the end of the tube 7 as long as he maintains his pressure on the push button 8. Due to the lowering of the plate 6, the shoulder 12 comes into leaktight support with the top of the emerging rod 10: the latter thus closes off the top of the grooves 11.

When the user releases his action on the push-button 8, it causes the valve to close, the wafer 6 to rise and consequently the tube 7 along the rod 10: in this position shown in FIG. 3, the top of the emerging valve stem 10 is located below the top of the grooves 11. Thus, the walls of the emerging valve stem 10 and of the tube 7 delimit, at the level of the grooves 11, conduits through which may be drain off the foaming product contained in the tube 7, which will have liquefied after the ejection of a quantity of foam as explained above.

The liquefied foaming product discharged through the grooves 11 is collected in the valve cup 4. It therefore does not stagnate above the upper end of the valve stem 10 at the bore 9: it does not therefore more likely to penetrate inside the stem 10 of the valve and consequently to plug it while drying.
