- the present invention relates to a foldable boat.
- Foldable boats are known in the art, obtained in other words by the hinge-like joint of a plurality of laminar elements or panels in at least moderately flexible plastic material, cut according to a suitably shaped contour.
- Such boats have the advantage of being extremely light, which is a feature common to all boats in plastic material, and additionally they are also extremely comfortable to transport and store since in their closed or folded condition they occupy an extremely small amount of room, practically that of the group of laminar elements composing the boat which, in folded condition, assume a planar attitude.
- Foldable boats of the kinds known however, occasionally have limitations, due most of all to the fact that they require a remarkable effort for their erection or opening, and in the water they may not have an always satisfactory safety margin for performing some operations while standing still, such as the return of swimmers or frogmen on board, or the hauling up of persons during rescue operations from the stern, since the boats, being very light and not ballasted, may be subject to pitching up, with the risk of swamping water.

They furthermore represent a reserve of floatability such as to make the boat unsinkable.

Claims (12)
- Zusammenfaltbares und zusammenbaubares Boot mit vier identischen flachen Platten (1, 2, 3 u. 4) aus halbsteifem Material und mit geformter Oberfläche, die der Länge nach genau aneinanderstoßend in Aufeinanderfolge angeordnet sind, so daß sie zwei nebeneinanderliegende mittlere Platten (2, 3) und zwei äußere oder seitliche Platten (1, 4) bilden, wobei die zwei mittleren Platten (2, 3) aneinander anstoßen und miteinander entlang einer Längskante gelenkig miteinander verbunden sind, während ihre jeweils andere Längskante an die entsprechende Kante einer der benachbarten äußeren Platte anstößt und gelenkig mit dieser verbunden ist, wobei jede Platte eine innere Oberfläche und eine äußere Oberfläche aufweist und eine erste Nut (10) aufweist, die durch Kaltwalzen entlang der äußeren Oberfläche gebildet wird, wobei die Nut (10) parallel und nahe der längsverlaufenden Kante angeordnet ist, welche dazu vorgesehen ist, mit der Kante einer benachbarten Platte in Eingriff zu gehen, um ein nicht unterbrochenes umlaufendes Band oder einen Streifen (12), welcher einen Teil der Platte bildet, durch eine einfache Reduzierung der Dicke an der ersten Nut zu bilden, wobei die umlaufenden Bänder (12) der Platten an den benachbarten und miteinander in Eingriff stehenden Kanten miteinander verbunden sind, so daß sie dichte Säume bilden, wobei jede Platte bezogen auf den Saum entlang der ersten Nut (10) flexibel oder faltbar ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß jede Platte (1, 2, 3 u. 4) des weiteren eine zweite Nut (9) aufweist, welche durch Kaltwalzen entlang der inneren Oberfläche geformt wird und im wesentlichen parallel und gegenüberliegend zur ersten Nut (10) verläuft, um eine verbesserte Flexibilität der Platten durch doppelte Verringerung der Dicke an den Nuten (9, 10) und einen verbesserten Bruchwiderstand bei wiederholtem Biegen durch Druckverformen des Materials entsprechend der Nuten (9, 10) zu gewährleisten. - Boot nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es zumindest einen einen Abstand bildenden Sitz (14, 45) umfaßt, der mit den Seiten des Boots, welche durch die zwei äußeren oder seitlichen Platten (1, 4) gebildet werden, in Eingriff gehen soll, um das Boot in der aufgebauten Lage zu halten, wobei der Sitz (14) so ausgestaltet ist, daß er einen mittleren querverlaufenden Ansatz (18) aufweist, der dazu geeignet ist, an der Verbindung der beiden mittleren Platten (2, 3) anzuliegen.
- Boot nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der querverlaufende Ansatz (18) des einen Abstand haltenden Sitzes (14) umfaltbar ist.
- Boot nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es zwei Positionierklammern (15) für den oder für jeden einen Abstand bildenden Sitz (14) umfaßt, die in den äußeren oder seitlichen Platten (1, 4) nur beschränkt deformierbar sind.
- Boot nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es Mittel zu dessen Selbstzusammenbau enthält.
- Boot nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Mittel zum Selbstzusammenbau zumindest einen einen Abstand haltenden Sitz (45) umfaßt, welcher einen aufblasbaren Körper und ein Ventil (47) zum Aufblasen und Ablassen aufweist.
- Boot nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der oder jeder Sitz (45) einen mittleren Ansatz (46) aufweist, der im Einsatz auf dem Boden des Bootes aufsitzen soll.
- Boot nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es zwei seitliche Schwimmer (36) umfaßt, welche vom Bug zum Heck reichen und abnehmbar mit einem entsprechenden Dichtsaum verbindbar sind.
- Boot nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es eine Schwimmverlängerung (40) am Heck aufweist.
- Boot nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es im zusammengebauten Zustand einen Bootsrumpf aufweist, welcher von außen die Form von Knickflügeln hat, welche durch Spitzen definiert sind, die durch die Dichtungssäume gebildet werden, und längsgerichtete Zwischenstücke zwischen den Spitzen, die durch die Krümmung der Platten gebildet sind.
- Boot nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es eine Stabilisierungrippe (31) am Heck mit zwei Ankerscharen, die bezogen zur vertikalen Längsebene des Boots symmetrisch sind, umfaßt.
- Boot nach einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es einen Bugspitzenpunkt (32) aufweist, der durch ein Spannelement (34) gehalten wird.
