La longueur de ce doigt 6 est supérieure à l'épaisseur des deux plaques 2a, 2b réunies par les vis 3, si bien qu'il peut coulisser le long de son axe dans les ouvertures. Les butées à ce coulissement sont constituées par un épaulement 8 au niveau de la liaison du doigt au bras 7 et par une rondelle d'extrémité 9 maintenue sur le doigt par un écrou 10. Outre ce coulissement vertical, ce doigt peut également coulisser le long des ouvertures 5a, 5b, transversalement à la direction de déplacement A B de l'élément menant. On voit que ce montage peut prendre en compte n'importe quel mouvement relatif du bras 7 par rapport au brin 1a, d'amplitude par construction limitée, dans un plan perpendiculaire à la direction d'entraînement. Une telle liaison donne donc à l'elément mené deux degrés de liberté par rapport à l'élément menant, ce qui convient tout à fait pour l'entraînement des portes louvoyantes telles qu'elles existent dans les voitures de transport en commun.A
