Treppenaufzug mit einer als Plattform oder Sitz ausgebildeten Lastaufnahmeeinrichtung, die auf längs der Treppe fest angeordneten unteren und oberen Stützholmen verschiebbar gelagert und mit einem motorgetriebenen Getriebe ausgerüstet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Getriebe in einem flachen an der Rückwand der Lastaufnahmeeinrichtung angeordneten Getriebegehäuse (18) aus einer geschlossenen endlosen Folge von auf Bolzen (23) gelagerten Führungshülsen (24) besteht, deren Bolzen (23) beidseitig in endlosen Nuten (22) des Getriebegehäuses (18) gelagert und durch ein Zahnradpaar (34) motorisch angetrieben sind und mit einer Mehrzahl von in gleichen Abständen in der Folge der Führungshülsen (24) angeordneten aus dem Getriebegehäuse (18) herausragenden Tragrollen (26) mit an senkrechten zwischen den Stützholmen (1 und 2) angeordneten Stäben (4) befestigten geneigten Tragstäben (6) zusammenwirken.1.
