Abstract

A cold-rolled strip steel is used, which has a chemical composition of 0.015 to 0.040% C max. 0.20% Si max. 0.40% Mn max. 0.030% P 0.02 to 0.05% S max. 0.1% Al max. 0.01% N and a titanium content of <IMAGE> to 0.4% for complete binding of the elements nitrogen, sulphur and carbon present in the molten steel, the remainder being iron and impurities resulting from the smelting and, in the annealed, undressed state has a yield strength of less than 150 N/mm<2>, a coefficient of perpendicular anisotropy (rm) of more than 1.7, an elongation at break (A80) of more than 38% and a mean solidification exponent (nm) of more than 0.22, as the material for non-ageing sheets having excellent cold formability. <IMAGE>
