Abstract
The steel, useful as working material for age-free sheets, contains: 0.015-0.04 (0.02-0.04) % C, max. 0.20% Si, max. 0.40% Mn, max. 0.03% P, 0.02-0.05 (0.03-0.05)% S, max. 0.1% Al, max. 0.01% N and a Ti content of: (I) up to 0.4%, for completely bonding the elements N, S and C present in the liq. steel, balance Fe and melt-conditioned impurities. In the annealed, unfinished condition, the steel has yield pt. less than 150 N/sq.mm, characteristic value of vertical anisotropy (rm) over 1.7, elongation at break (A80) over 38% and an average solidification index(nm) over 0.22.
