Claims (6)

1. An anti-tampering device (16) for positioning bar fittings (6) having positioning bars movable into a number of operative positions, more particularly for turnttilt devices, and comprising a lever (19) which is mounted on the door or sash or the like (3) for pivoting parallel to the door plane and which has a locking cam (24) or the like, at least one catch (25, 26) on the positioning bar being associated with the locking cam (24), the same being engageable in the catch by force storage means, such as a spring (30), acting on the lever (13) when the positioning bar is in a predetermined operative position and when the sash or door or the like (3) is open, whereas when the sash or door or the like (3) is in the closed position the lever (19) is movable against the force of the force storage means (30) by an associated abutment (21; 33; 37) and its locking cam (24) or the like is disengageable from the catch (25, 26) of the positioning bar, the lever (19) being a double- armed lever (20, 22), one arm (20) of which forms the actuating element while the other arm (22) carries the locking cam (24) or the like on its underside, the mounting of the two-armed lever (20, 22) being in the form of a hook (28) releasably engaged in a slot (27) in a carrier (17) disposed on the door or sash or the like (3), the engaged position of the hook (28) being secured by an abutment (27) associated with the carrier (17) and by a counter-abutment (29) directed oppositely to the direction of engagement of the hook (28), the door or sash or the like (3) being connected at least for tilt opening to the fixed frame (2) by a stay (8) which engages pivotally with the door or sash or the like (3) after the fashion of an elliptical link by way of a stay arm (10) and an additional arm (11), characterised in that the two-armed lever (19) is disposed in the movement zone of the additional arm (11) of the stay (8) on the carrier, for example, a face plate (17), on the side near the door or sash or the like, the end (34) of the lever arm (22) extends to near a locking surface (33, 37) disposed on the additional arm (11) near its pivot (12) on the side near the sash or door or the like, and the locking surface (33, 37) engages securingly over the lever arm (22) when the additional arm (11) is positioned at an inclination to the plane of the door or sash or the like (Figs. 4 and 6).
2. A device according to claim 1, characterised in that the end of the lever arm (20) is associated with an actuating surface (21, 40) on the fixed frame (2) or on the additional arm (11) of the stay (8) and is remote from the pivot (12) of the additional arm on the side near the door or the sash or the like, and when the same is in its closed position on the fixed frame (2) - i.e., when the additional arm (11) extends parallel to the plane of the sash or dour or the like - the actuating surface (21, 40) depresses the lever arm (20) against the spring force (30) (Figs. 2 and 3).
3. A device according to claim 1 and/or 2, characterised in that the lever arm (20) has a contour which narrows trapezoidally towards its free end and its inclined longitudinal edges (20a) have inclined run-up surfaces (20b) which increase in width towards the free end (Figs. 4 and 6).
4. A device according to claim 2 and/or 3, characterised in that the actuating surface (40) on the additional arm (11) is in the form of a spherical zone which projects from the underside, for example, a pressed-out protuberance or pimple or rivet head or the like.

A device according to any of claims 1 - 4, characterised in that the free end of the lever arm (22) carrying the locking cam (24) has a straight transverse edge (34) with which as locking surface (33, 37) projections on the underside of the additional arm (11) are associated, such projections being disposed at least near the longftu- dinal edges of the additional arm (11; Fig. 6) or of the lever arm (22) (36; Fig. 4) and are there separated from the axis of the pivot (12) of the additional arm on the side near the sash or door or the like by a distance greater than the smallest distance between the straight transverse edge (34) of the lever arm (22) when the additional arm (11) extends parallel to the sash or the like (3).
6. A device according to any of claims 1 - 5, characterised by two different anti-tampering devices (16) which are associated with the additional arm (11) of the stay on both sides of the pivot (12) near the sash or door or the like.
