Abstract

In order to reduce the space required inside a rotary body (24) of the turret of a tank to transfer ammunition cartridges (3) from a container magazine (4) to the turret magazine (10) there is used as a transporter a gun tube (1) which is pivotable about a cradle axis (2). To transport the ammunition shells to the loading space (15) of the gun, the ammunition (3) in the container magazine (4) of the container frame (23) of the tank in a gripping position (5) is inclined so that it forms a straigth line (7) with the axis (6) reduced from the gun (1) with a height angle alpha with respect to the horizontal. In order to guide the ammunition shells in the recoil path s of the gun, pivotable spacing parts (11, 12) are arranged in the container magazine (4) and in the turret magazine (10). The gun (1) is used as a transporter on one hand to fill the turret magazine (10) with ammunition cartridges pulled from the store of ammunition of the container magazine (4) and on the other hand to fill the container magazine (4), in the reverse transport direction. For the longitudinal transportation of ammunition cartridges into the charging space (15) of the gun (1), or for removing them therefrom, place setting devices (16, 17) are arranged on the turret magazine (10) on the container magazine (4).

Description

The invention relates to a device for the ammunition of cartridge ammunition from a trough magazine into a turret magazine that can be pivoted about the lateral direction axis of an armored vehicle that has a weapon barrel that can be pivoted about a cradle axis (2).

Such a conveyor device known from DE-A-2818 279, however, has the disadvantage that it requires a considerable amount of space within the tower.

In contrast, it is an object of the invention to provide a device for the ammunition of the cartridge ammunition from the trough into the turret magazine of an armored vehicle, by means of which the space required within the turret for the ammunition is considerably reduced.

The object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. The subclaims name advantageous refinements and developments of the invention.

Advantageously, the invention enables the weapon barrel to be used as a space-saving means of transport for ammunitioning the ammunition from the trough into the turret magazine of an armored vehicle. In a particularly advantageous manner, in addition to the existing leveling drive of the weapon barrel, no additional drives and power connections are necessary for the device for re-ammunition.

The fact that the loading space of the weapon barrel is also a transport space for the ammunition during the ammunition and that the barrel weapon can be automatically loaded directly from the trough magazine, as is the case with the turret magazine, means that the barrel weapon is ready to fire even during the ammunition. The direct and, moreover, space-saving loading from the tub magazine is made possible by the fact that the cartridge ammunition of the tub magazine or the entire tub magazine, which is in a removal position, is arranged so obliquely within the vehicle tub that the cartridge ammunition with the extended barrel core axis of the um is removed for removal the elevation angle a forms a straight line with respect to the horizontal raised gun barrel and the cartridge ammunition can be transported directly into the cargo space of the gun barrel with the aid of a spacer bridging the barrel return path and by means of an attachment device fixed to the tub magazine.

The spacers can be swiveled away from the bridge position for the tube return and are arranged on the turret and on the tub magazine, the tubular spacer arranged on the tub magazine being partially shell-shaped on the upper side and adapted to the barrel return space of the gun barrel in the swung-down position, which shortens the distance between the tub magazine and the gun barrel the required tower space is reduced in a further advantageous manner.

The invention is explained with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings.

Show it:
  • 1 shows a partially sectioned side view of the weapon barrel, which can be pivoted about a cradle axis, as a means of transport of the ammunition in a transfer position on the turret magazine and in a receiving position (shown in broken lines) on the trough magazine,
  • Fig. 2 in a sectional view indicated in Fig. 1 with 11-11 a cross section of the tub and tower magazine.

Zwischen dem Turmmagazin 10 und dem Waffenrohr 1 befindet sich, um für den Ladevorgang eine Führung der patronierten Munition 3 auch im Bereich des Rohrrücklaufweges s des Waffenrohres 1 zu gewährleisten, während des Rohrrücklaufs ein seitlich ausschwenkbares als Rohr ausgebildetes Distanzstück 12.1 illustrates the arrangement of a weapon barrel 1 which is known per se and which can be pivoted in the vertical direction about a cradle axis 2 and is arranged within a turret which can be rotated about the lateral direction axis 21 an armored vehicle also not shown connected. Within the turret housing 24 there are multiple magazine troughs 10 (FIG. 2) behind the weapon barrel 1, in which cartridge ammunition 3 is arranged horizontally and parallel to the lateral directional position of the weapon barrel 1. Such a tower magazine 10 is known for example from DE-C-13 01 742. Between the turret magazine 10 and the weapon barrel 1 there is a spacer 12, which can be swung out sideways and is designed as a barrel, in order to ensure that the ammunition 3 is guided for the loading process also in the area of the barrel return path s of the barrel 1, during the barrel return.

The cartridge ammunition 3 is conveyed on the extended barrel core axis 6 into the cargo space 15 of the weapon barrel 1 by means of a known attachment device 17, which can be, for example, a chain attachment. The attachment device 17 is furthermore able, when the breech part 25 of the weapon barrel 1 is open, to pull a cartridge ammunition 3 located in the cargo space 15 into the receiving position 9 of the turret magazine 10 arranged on both sides of the receiving position 9 (FIG. 2).

In the lateral outer region of the turret cage 18, a trough magazine 4 is arranged inside the vehicle trough 23, which, as shown in FIG. 2, consists, for example, of an endless conveyor chain 28 in which further ammunition 3 with cartridges for refilling the turret magazines 10 are stored. Because the weapon barrel 1, which can be pivoted about the cradle axis 2, is a means of transport for the ammunition of the cartridge ammunition 3 from the tub magazine 4 into the turret magazine 10, the cartridge ammunition 3 of the tub magazine 4 located in the removal position 5 or the entire tub magazine 4 is so inclined arranged within the vehicle trough 23 that for the removal the cartridge ammunition 3 with the extended tubular core axis 6 of the by the height angle a with respect to the Hori zontal 19 raised gun barrel 1 forms a straight line 7. The ammunition removal position 5 of the tub magazine 4 lies on the vehicle's longitudinal axis 8, the tub magazine 4 containing its own attachment device 16, which is fastened to the rear end of the magazine, for removing the ammunition 3 which is aimed at the weapon barrel 1 with the ammunition tip 20.

To achieve the inclined position of the cartridge ammunition 3, either the tub magazine shown is arranged inclined by the angle a '(not shown) or a rotary drive, not shown, for pivoting the cartridge ammunition 3 from a horizontal position 33 into the removal position 5 is arranged on the tub magazine 4.

The tub magazine 4 also contains a swing-out tubular spacer 11 for bridging the tube return path s, which, in contrast to the spacer 12 of the tower magazine 10 arranged in a tower, is not rotatable about the lateral direction axis 21, but is arranged in a tub-fixed manner at the transition to the space of the tower basket 18 and to ensure the tube return is pivotable downwards. The longitudinal axis of the spacer 11 forms during the feeding of the cartridge ammunition 3 into the cargo space 15 of the weapon barrel 1 and during the removal of the cartridge ammunition 3 from the cargo space 15 with the axis of a cartridge ammunition 3 which is in the removal position 5 and which is increased by the angle a Pipe core axis 6 of the gun barrel 1 is a straight line. In order to shorten the distance between the retracted weapon barrel 1 and the trough magazine 4 and thereby also reduce the space requirement of the turret cage 18, the spacer 11 has a bowl-shaped design on the upper side and, in the position 14 pivoted down in the direction of the arrow 27, is available for the return of the weapon barrel 1 standing room 13 adapted. The spacer 11 is designed in such a way that a pipe increase beyond the angle a by the angle β is possible.

For the ammunition process of the cartridge ammunition 3 from the trough magazine 4 into the turret magazine 10, it is necessary that the weapon barrel 1 is oriented in the lateral direction in a plane 26 (FIG. 2) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 8 of the vehicle and increased by the angle a, which is why it It is advisable to carry out this process during a break in the fight. A cartridge ammunition 3 fed into the cargo space 15 by the attachment device 16 arranged at the side of the tub is then pivoted upwards through the weapon barrel 1 in the plane 26 by the angle a, so that the attachment device 17 arranged on the turret magazine 10 transfers the cartridge ammunition 3 into the position shown in FIG 2 can take the illustrated recording position 9.

To refill the tub magazine, the cartridge ammunition 3 is transported in the reverse order.

Fig. 2 verdeutlicht die Anordnung eines Wannenmagazins 4 in der Fahrzeugwanne 23 und turmseitig beidseitig der Aufnahmeposition 9 jeweils zwei übereinander angeordnete Turmmagazine 10.FIG. 2 illustrates the arrangement of a tub magazine 4 in the vehicle tub 23 and on the tower side on both sides of the receiving position 9 two tower magazines 10 arranged one above the other.

In the event that cartridge ammunition 3 is to be fed from the trough magazine 4 to the tower magazine 10, the ammunition 3 leaves the conveyor chain 28 under the dead weight in the arrow direction 29 to take the removal position 5 obliquely downwards. Ammunition 3 can optionally be removed from the conveyor chain 28 of the tub magazine 4 on the left or right.

So that a simple supply of ammunition can also be carried out in the tub magazine 4, the position holder 30 is arranged so as to be displaceable in the plane 26 in a manner not shown in order to maintain the removal position 5, so that from an upper supply position 5 'the cartridge ammunition 3 is also optionally left under its own weight or can be fed to the tub magazine 4 on the right in the arrow direction 31 directed obliquely downward.

In the same way, the holder 32 of the receiving position 9 for the tower magazine 10 for the removal of the ammunition 3 from the lower tower magazines 10 is arranged to be movable downwards in the plane 26 for taking the removal position 9 ', the holder 32 for operating the upper tower magazines 10 in each case in the plane 26 is displaceably arranged up to the upper receiving or removal position.

Die Turmmagazine 10 enthalten jeweils an den aussenliegenden Seiten zur Nachfüllung der patronierten Munition 3 ausschwenkbare Einführklappen 34.The tower magazines 10 each contain, on the outer sides, refillable insertion flaps 34 for refilling the ammunition with cartridges.

The use of the weapon barrel 1 as a means of transport for the automatic re-ammunition of the ammunition 3 from the trough magazine into the turret magazine, in addition to the considerable space saving within the turret housing 24, also achieves a substantial advantageous weight reduction compared to known devices.
