Abstract

Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'aliments ou autres chauds ou froids, réalisée par thermoformage de feuil­les de matières plastiques du genre P.V.C., polystyrène ou autres caractérisée en ce qu'elle présente une forme prismati­que à base polygonale, lui conférant au stockage par gerbage des propriétés de rigidité qu'elle soit vide ou pleine avec contenu chaud ou froid.

Description

  • La présente invention concerne un emballage des­tiné à présenter et à protéger tout produit consommable ou non à destination du consommateur ou de l'utilisateur final.
  • Cet emballage se présente sous la forme d'une boîte avec couvercle attenant, de forme polygonale, réali­sée par thermoformage d'une feuille de matière plastique en PVC, polystyrène ou autre et non limitative.
  • Quelle soit vide ou pleine, elle est facilement gerbable en hauteur et, dans le cas de la boîte vide, elle peut être stockée par emboîtement sans coincement d'une boîte dans l'autre.
  • De nombreuses réalisations sont fabriquées et a­daptées aux exigences des circuits de distribution faisant naître un très grand nombre de boîtes aux formes les plus diverses où les conditions primordiales de rigidité et d'obturation par le couvercle sont très souvent déficien­tes au cours de leur manutention et transport. Ces défauts s'accentuent lorsque les emballages sont utilisés pour le conditionnement d'aliments chauds. La chaleur dégagée ame­nuisera les caractéristiques mécaniques de la matière plas­tique et par conséquent de la boîte surtout si ses formes ont été mal conçues ou sacrifiées dans un but bien souvent purement esthétique.
  • La présente invention vise à supplanter tous les emballages plastiques pour les aliments préparés ou autres qu'ils soient chauds ou froids et de répondre entre autres conditions d'utilisation, à celles de rigidité, d'obturation par un couvercle jointiff et verrouillé, de tenue à chaud, fa­cilement gerbables et stockables vides ou pleines entièrement transparentes ou pas, permettant de voir ou non le contenu.
  • On comprendra mieux l'invention par la des­cription qui suivra et les figures des dessins annexés :
    • - la figure 1 a représente l'ensemble de la boîte ;
    • - la figure 1 b représente les encoches pré­vues dans le fond, la figure 2 représentant le système facili­tant l'ouverture du couvercle, la boîte étant fermée ;
    • - la figure 3 représente le système de char­nière en position ouverte ;
    • - la figure 4 représente le système de char­nière en position fermée ;
    • - la figure 5 représente le système de ferme­ture verrouillant le couvercle.
  • Telle qu'elle est représentée par la figure 1 a, la boîte d'emballage de produits alimentaires objet de la présente invention est caractérisée en ce que le récipient (1) est de forme prismatique à base polygonale à seize côtés (3) mais non limitative formant une succession de facettes 8a-­8b qui alternativement, sont tantôt lisses at par conséquent parfaitement transparentes (facettes 8a), tantôt striées par des cannelures (6) (facettes 8b) améliorant la rigidité de ladite boîte. Les facettes lisses et transparentes (8a) permettent une vision latérale du contenu.
  • Le fond (5) représenté par la figure 1b don­nant la forme polygonale à seize côtés (3) est caractérisée en ce que la feuille de matière plastique est gaufrée par un motif décoratif en creux et relief qui a pour but de réduire considé­rablement les surfaces de contact internes at par conséquent l'adhérence de l'aliment qui y est déposé, comme les surfaces externes en contact avec la surface de pose de ladite boîte, ces motifs ont également pour objet de rigidifier le fond. Ce fond possède deux encoches (16) disposées symétriquement annu­lant tout effet de coincement de deux boîtes vides emboîtées lors du stockage.
  • L'ouverture du récipient (1) est caractérisée en ce qu'un rebord (9) attenant à un méplat (2) se prolonge sur une certaine longueur en une charnière (10) puis en un couver­cle (11), et d'un système de fermeture qui seront décrits sé­parément et qui contribuent à l'obturation de ladite boîte. Le méplat (2) s'élargit dans un des angles du polygone pour for­mer une languette de préhension (7) facilitant l'ouverture du couvercle (11).
  • Le couvercle (11) est caractérisé en ce qu'il est aussi de forme polygonale à seize côtés (3) munis d'un rebord (13) attenant à un méplat (12) dont un des angles est élargi pour former une languette de préhension (15) facilitant l'ouverture de ladite boîte par le fait que la forme de ladite languette (15) n'est pas confondue avec celle de la languette (7) selon la représentation de la figure 2. La saisie de l'une et de l'autre permet le soulèvement dudit couvercle.
  • Les dimensions du rebord (13) ont été aménagées de telle façon que ledit rebord épouse parfaitement l'intérieur du rebord (9) du récipient (1) assurant à la fermeture une é­tanchéité de la boîte par coincement du fond et du couvercle. Sa forme en creux contribue au gerbage des boîtes pleines en évitant tout glissement d'une boîte par rapport à l'autre.
  • Contrairement au fond (5) et plus particulière­ment aux facettes (8b) du récipient (1) ledit couvercle est to­talement lisse et transparent exposant entièrement son contenu.
  • Le méplat (12) se prolonge et se transforme en unecharnière (10) caractérisée en ce qu'elle est formée de trois plis ondulés (17) qui, par déformation, donnent toute liberté de basculement du couvercle tant à l'ouverture qu'à la ferme­ture de ladite boîte. Ces deux positions sont illustrées par les figures 3 et 4.
  • La position déportée de ces trois plis on­dulés (17) constituant la charnière, par rapport au plan formé par le rebord (9), autorise l'emboîtement parfait du rebord (13) du couvercle (11) dans le rebord (9) du récipient (1) et rend jointifs les méplats (2) et (12) assurant une excellente fermeture étanche de ladite boîte dont sa forme particulière concourt à cette qualité.
  • Pour éviter des ouvertures inopinées, ladite boîte possède un système incorporé de verrouillage du couver­cle caractérisé en ce qu'il est constitué d'un emboîtement d'une forme en relief dans une forme creuse.
  • Sur la figure 1 a on distingue sur le rebord (9) plusieurs formes en relief (4), tandis que dans le rebord (13) du couvercle (11) on distingue plusieurs formes creuses (14) disposées en vis-à-vis et disposées régulièrement sur les périmètres respectifs des rebords (9) et (13).
  • Plus particulièrement en se référant à la figure 5 représentant le couvercle fermé et verrouillé sur la boîte on voit dans le rebord (9) du récipient (1) une forme en relief (18) dont la configuration est une calotte sphérique ve­nue par thermoformage emboîtée dans une empreinte en creux (19) de même nature géométrique que la précédente et venue également par thermoformage.
  • Au moment de la fermeture du couvercle (11) le rebord (13) pénètre par une légère pression dans le rebord (9) du récipient (1). Lorsque ledit rebord (13) rencontre la for­me en relief (18) et accentuant la pression, celui-ci se défor­me légèrement grâce à l'élasticité de la matière plastique constituant l'ensemble de ladite boîte, et après avoir passé par-dessus, reprend sa forme initiale en venant emboîter son empreinte creuse (19) sur la forme en relief (18) et en amenant les méplats (2) et (12) parfaitement jointifs.
  • A l'ouverture il est nécessaire de fournir un certain effort d'arrachement du couvercle (11) à l'aide des languettes (7) et (15) pour dégager progressivement les for­mes en relief (4) et (18) des empreintes creuses (14) et (19).
  • L'emboîtement à géométrie sphérique n'étant pas limitative, toutes autres formes peuvant être exploitées à condition qu'elles autorisent un chevauchement de l'empreinte creuse sur la forme en relief sans atteindre la déformation permanente des rebords (9) et (13).
  • Dans certaines conditions d'utilisation ladite boîte avec son couvercle attenant au récipient par l'intermé­diaire d'une charnière est caractérisée en ce qu'elle peut être réalisée avec le couvercle séparé, le système de fermeture res­tant identique et toutes ses qualités n'en sont nullement alté­rées.

Claims (9)

1. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres, chauds ou froids, réalisés par thermoformage de feuilles de matières plastiques du genre P.V.C., polystyrène ou autres caractérisée en ce qu'elle présente une forme prisma­tique à base polygonale, lui conférant au stockage par gerbage des propriétés de rigidité qu'elle soit vide ou pleine avec contenu chaud ou froid.
2. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement des ali­ments ou autres selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que ses faces latérales forment des facettes dont certaines sont mu­nies de cannelures afin d'accroître sa rigidité plus particuliè­rement dans le sens vertical.
3. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres chauds ou froids selon la revendication 2, carac­térisée en ce que les facettes non cannelées restent lisses et transparentes pour voir le contenu.
4. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres chauds ou froids selon les revendications 1, 2 at 3, caractérisée en ce que son fond présente des creux et des reliefs pour diminuer les surfaces de contact aussi bien inter­nes qu'externes et rendre le fond plus rigide et que deux enco­ches disposées symétriquement évitent le coincement de deux boîtes vides emboîtées l'une dans l'autre.
5. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres chauds ou froids selon les revendications 1, 2, 3 et 4, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte une charnière à plis ondulés fonctionnant par déformation en permettant au cou­vercle d'être parfaitement jointif.
6. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres chauds ou froids selon les revendications 1, 2, 3, 4 et 5 caractérisée en ce que le haut de ses parois, d'une part et le couvercle d'autre part présentent respectivement des formes en relief et des empreintes creuses correspondantes, assurant par simple pression exercée sur le couvercle, son verrouillage dans la boîte.

Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres chauds ou froids selon l'une quelconque des revendications de 1 à 6, caractérisée en ce que deux languettes décalées l'une par rapport à l'autre et solidaires respective­ment de la boîte et du couvercle facilitent l'ouverture de la boîte.
8. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres chauds ou froids selon les revendications 1 à 7, caractérisée en ce que la forme en creux de son couvercle permet le gerbage des boîtes pleines par empilement sans qu'il y ait glissement de l'une par rapport à l'autre.
9. Boîte pour emballage et conditionnement d'ali­ments ou autres chauds ou froids selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisée en ce qu'elle peut être réa­lisée avec couvercle séparé tout en conservant ses qualités d'étanchéité.
