- the present invention relates to the field of footwear, in particular its manufacture and its repair. It relates more specifically to a new anti-wear and anti-slip protection element fixed to the free end of the heel of a shoe, in particular of a woman's shoe with a thin heel.

- the opening 14 has a step 14a separating two cylindrical sections of different diameters, the section of smaller diameter being on the side of the heel .
- the opening 14 may also be of frustoconical or other shape, the condition being that its cross-sectional area is smaller on the side of the heel 10 than on the side of its free end.

- the part 16 consists of a head 16a whose shape and dimensions correspond substantially to those of the opening 14, and arranged to be received intimately inside said opening.

- the parts 12 and 16 are made integral in rotation, during their assembly, by a plurality of ribs or complementary grooves 20, 22 provided respectively on the mutual contact faces of these parts 12 and 16.

- the rod 16b and its frame 18 are simultaneously driven into a hole 10a in the heel 10, and this until the lower faces of the parts 12, 16 extend substantially in the same plane.
- the outer part 12 is thus firmly immobilized, thanks both to the stepped shape of the surfaces in contact with the parts 12 and 16 and to the complementary grooves 20, 22 carried by these surfaces. Furthermore, the imprisonment with compression of the rod 16b between the rigid frame 18 and the material of the heel 10 prevents any undesirable rotation of the parts 12, 16 made integral with each other. To further promote this immobilization, one can provide on the outer surface of the rod 16b longitudinal grooves or the like (not shown).

- the frame 18 does not occupy the entire length of the bore 16c allows said frame to disappear in the free space upper 16d, so advantageously avoid any deformation thereof when the wear rating of the element will allow a thrust on the frame 18, and this up to the maximum wear rating, indicated at 24 in the figure 1.
