Definitions
- This invention relates to a massage device with preferably two massage elements for massaging the lower extremities of a person, the massage elements being able to be rotated or pivoted relative to a stationary base frame by a motor drive.
- this massage element can be adapted to the curved shape of the lower extremities. Furthermore, this massage element is to be set by a system of cams into 2-directional, forcibly guided, mutually related vibrations. In addition, the arrangement of this element should be such that the lower extremity to be massaged reaches the entire body in a completely relaxed and natural lying state.
- a table top is arranged in the base frame, which carries a cylindrical bearing for each of the preferably two pivotable therein, designed as an upwardly open, half-hollow cylinder massage elements, with one on the bottom of each massage element down protruding lever arm is attached, which can be set in a reciprocating movement by a double cam driven by a motor drive via a plunger or a return spring.
- the table top which forms a structural unit with the bearings, is set into horizontal vibrations in relation to the base frame in the direction of the longitudinal axes of the hollow-cylindrical massage elements by a motor-driven single cam disc and resetting spring elements.
- FIG. 1 The device in its entirety, the cross-section and the u. 2 Section A - A shows how the device works and the interdependency of the vibrations.
- FIG. 3 Preferably position of the z. Example massaging lower leg, u. 4 and the entire body to the massager.
- FIG. 5 The concave massage element, consisting of a mat with flexible, slightly conical, pin-shaped pins and their arrangement with each other.
- the ⁇ -ager 3 are fixedly connected to the so-called table 7 by the inventor and form a unit.
- the lever 2 is set by means of a double cam 4 via plunger 5 and return spring 6 in horizontal vibrations which are transferred by the bearing 3 arranged in the form of a segment of a circle into vibrations of the same type in the form of a segment of a circle.
- the double cam 4 creates good vibration compensation, which makes the table 7 appear almost vibration-free in one direction.
- the two massage elements 1, are as in FIG. 1 to 3 can be seen, firmly connected to lever 2.
- Massage elements 1 and lever 2 are designed in the bearings 3, in the present case as roller bearings, the possibility of slide bearings is given, so positively guided that an oscillation adapted to the segment of the circle is made possible.
- the contact force of the leg to be massaged, FIG. 3 to 5, increases this forced guidance of the vibrations in the bearings 3.
- the table 7 is as in FIG. 1 u. 2 can be seen, connected to the base frame 10 by spring elements 8 and can be set into horizontal vibrations relative to the base frame 10 by means of a single cam 9.
- the table 7 can also be implemented in two parts and the cam 9 cranked by 180 degrees can have a vibration-damping effect on the overall device.
- the drive of the cams 4 u. 9, as shown in FIG. 2u. 4 can be seen via a Motor with two gears, shown schematically under 11, which allows a controllable dependence of the 2-directional vibrations on each other.
- the base frame 10 should be designed to be non-slip on its dividing surface.
- the in the FIG. 1 to 5 in total with 1 designated massage element consists of the finger mat designated with 1a.
- This preferably measured in half the length of a human average leg, has slightly conical finger pins 1b with rounded tips, all made of medium-hard flexible material so that when glued this finger mat 1a into the concave hollow cylindrical cup 1c, the finger pins 1b one as possible cause dense coverage of the muscle mass to be massaged.
- the length of the fingers depends on the flexibility of the material.
- the massage element 1 is as shown in FIG. 1 can be seen in duplicate and, as can be seen in FIG. 4, is arranged in a slightly V-shape in such a way that a pleasant and natural position of the muscle parts of the lower extremities to be massaged is ensured in relation to the entire body.
- the mechanism can be adjusted in height relative to the installation location by means of a mechanism that is not described in detail 12.

Abstract
The massage device is intended to promote blood irrigation and to prevent the appearance of varicose veins in the user's lower extremities. It comprises two concave shells (1) formed of hollow cylinders, constituting the massage bodies. These members are movable relative to a fixed frame (10) and driven by a pivoting movement by means of a motor (11). A plate (7) is placed in front of the frame (10) and is movable relative to it, movable by means of a cam (9) driven by a motor, and returned by a spring (8), this movement being executed in the longitudinal axis of the massage members (1) in a horizontal vibration. Cylindrical supports (3) form with the plate (7) a unit. They are used to maintain the massage members (1) rigidly fixed to an arm (2) extending downwards. The two arms (2) are driven in an alternating movement by means of a double cam (4) driven by a motor, a plunger (5) and a return spring (6). This arrangement makes it possible to ensure an individual massage in accordance with the usual massage, that is to say a rotating and pivoting movement perpendicular to the axis of the leg and a movement from front to back along the axis of the leg. leg.
