Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to provide a massage device with which a user can easily massage his back and which is also suitable for washing the user's back more easily.

In the case of a massage device, this object is achieved by the features of claim 1 . Further developments and advantageous refinements of the invention result from the dependent claims.

The massage device according to the invention comprises a massage head which can be arranged at different heights on the wall of a shower, the massage head having a drive device and a massage attachment, the drive device having a connecting plate which can be set in rotation via a drive shaft and to which the massage attachment is detachably connected.

The drive device can advantageously have a fluid drive, in particular a water drive, or preferably an electric drive, preferably a battery or accumulator-operated drive. The connecting plate is preferably designed as a circular disc. Depending on the design, the massage attachment can be used to massage the user's back or to wash, peel or apply lotion to the user's back. Because the massage head can be attached to the wall of the shower at different heights, the massage, washing, peeling or cream function can be adjusted to the area of the back that needs it otherwise difficult for the user to access. It has proven to be advantageous if the connecting plate has a diameter of 15-20 cm, preferably 15-17 cm, particularly preferably 16.6 cm.

It can be advantageous if the drive device can be switched on by means of a specific pressure exerted on the connecting plate via the massage attachment. The user can therefore simply lean his back against the massage attachment and the drive device and therefore the massage attachment begin to run.

It can be advantageous if the drive device can be switched off as of a certain pressure that is not exerted on the connecting plate, in particular no more. The same applies to the corresponding side of the massage attachment serving the connection. This ensures a strong hold between the connection plate and the massage attachment.

It can be advantageous if a massage attachment has a base plate which is designed on one side in such a way that it can be connected to the connecting plate on the other drive device can be connected, and on the other side a massage body, in particular a sponge, preferably a konjac sponge or a bamboo sponge, or in particular a textile material, preferably a viscose material. The diameter of the base plate preferably corresponds to that of the connecting plate. Depending on the design of the massage attachment, different applications are made possible.

Certain fabrics, especially viscose fabrics, are particularly suitable for applying lotion so that the skin on the back can be cared for and kept moist. The viscose fabric, for example, is soft with a pleasant skin feel, so that a cream can be carefully applied to the skin with the circular movements transmitted from the connecting plate to the base plate and thus to the textile fabric.

It can be advantageous if the same has at least one rail that can be attached perpendicularly to the wall, with the massage head preferably being arranged to be displaceable on this rail via the drive device. This allows the height of the massage head to be adjusted in order to reach specific points on the user's back. Of course, it is also possible to adjust the height of the massage head on two rails.

It can be advantageous if the massage head has a suction cup with which the massage head can be attached to the wall at a desired height. This also makes the massage head practically height-adjustable, so that different places on the user's back can be reached.
