Definitions
- the invention relates to a set of construction elements according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Swiss Patent No. 603.957 relates to such a set of construction elements making it possible to constitute several walls assembled together, this set comprising flat rectangular panels, each panel having on each of its main faces a groove running along each of the edges of this face, the four edge faces of this panel also having a groove oriented lengthwise of each of the edge faces, these latter grooves being midway between the edges of the main faces of the panel, elements attachment having projecting parts intended to be introduced into the grooves of two adjacent panels to assemble them to each other.
- the object of the invention is to reduce the number of different rooms which are necessary for the construction of: a dwelling or a shelter.
- Figure 1 is a cross section of a panel.
- Figures 2 to 4 show in more detail a corner piece of a panel.
- Figure 5 shows part of a component of a panel.
- Figure 6 shows in perspective with partial section a hooking element.
- Figures 7 and 8 show a second hooking element.
- Figures 9 and 10 show from the front and respectively in section a third fastening element.
- Figure 11 shows in perspective a panel arrangement for forming a floor and two side walls.
- a panel 1 is formed by two sheets 2 and 3 of generally rectangular shape and constituting the main faces of the panel.
- a mass 4 of synthetic resin with a cellular structure is sandwiched between the sheets 2 and 3.
- the edges of each of these sheets have a folded portion 5 in the direction of the opposite sheet.
- the two folded portions of these sheets which are opposite one another are interconnected by a piece 6 of synthetic resin, a portion of this piece 6 being shown on a larger scale in FIG. 5.
- This piece 6 is in the form of a trough and its recess constitutes a groove 6 'oriented lengthwise in each of the edge faces, this groove 6' being midway between the edges of the main faces of the panel.
- Each panel 1 has on each of its main faces a groove 7 running along each of the edges of this face. These grooves 7 are obtained by a deformation of each sheet 2 and 3, deformation carried out before the panel is finished.
- Figure 2 shows a corner of a panel 1, the latter being shown in broken lines to better show the corner piece 8 constituting this corner.
- a groove 7 of the panel crosses a groove 7 'of the same panel and oriented at right angles to the first.
- the corner piece 8 is generally cubic in shape with recessed portions 9 and 10 extending the grooves 7 and 7 'of a main face.
- a hollow portion 9 ' which extends the groove 7 on the opposite face of the panel 1.
- the corner piece 8 also has recessed portions 11 and 12, which constitute the end portion of the two grooves 6 'of the edge faces which lead to the angle in question.
- the groove 7, respectively 7 ′, on one side of the panel is connected to the corresponding groove located on the other side by a groove 13, respectively 14, crossing the two edge faces of the sign.
- the recessed portions 9, 10, 11 and 12 formed in the general cubic shape of the corner piece 8 reveal thereon protruding portions 15, 16, 17 and 18 on the face visible in FIG. 2, thus as corresponding projecting parts 15 ′, 16 ′, 17 ′ and 18 ′, three of which are visible in FIG. 4.
- the corner piece 8 is hollowed out so that it can be filled with the resin 4 with a honeycomb structure which separates the sheets 2 and 3.
- Figure 3 also shows that at least one corner piece per panel has a hole 19 which allows the resin to be injected inside the panel when it is formed by the two sheets 2 and 3 assembled by the four corner pieces.
- the injected honeycomb resin is chosen from those which adhere strongly to the sheet or to the coating provided on it, so that after the injection of the resin, all of the sheets 2 and 3 and of the four parts d 'angle constitute a rigid block that can no longer be disassembled in practice.
- the projections 18 and 18 ' which make the connection between the edge faces of the panel, have a cylindrical surface 20 in inverted quarter round, so that when four panels are juxtaposed in the same plan, a circular cylindrical free passage is provided at the junction of the four corner pieces of these panels.
- This free passage allows the passage of a bolt intended to connect two plates 21, one of which is shown in broken lines in FIG. 3, and intended to hold the four corner pieces together.
- the plates 21 can be combined with a cylindrical central stud engaging in said free passage and again with projections engaging in the recesses 9 and 10, respectively 9 'and 10', of the four pieces of 'angle.
- the projections 18 and 18 ' are lower than the neighboring projecting parts 15, 16 and 17 and this by the value of the thickness of the plates 21. In this way, the outer surface of the plates 21 comes in line with the main faces of the panel.
- FIG. 6 shows a part of a hooking element 22 which is intended to be engaged between the grooves 6 ', 7 or 7' of two panels that one wants to assemble to one another.
- This hooking element 22 is in the form of a bar of substantially rectangular section and which is constituted by a profile 23, hollowed out in section in the shape of Il. In this way, on each of its large faces, the section 23 has a recess in which is engaged an elastomer strip 24, which also passes over the end faces of this bar.
- the element 22 engaged in the grooves seals the connection between the panels by means of the elastic support. exerted by the strip 24.
- the elements 22 have lengths making it possible to completely fill the grooves 7 and respectively 7 ′, either by a single element or by several elements placed end to end.
- Figures 7 and 8 show another fastening element 25 which also has an elastomer lining 24 on two of its longest faces and on its two end faces. In addition, it has at each end of its large faces devoid of elastomer a projection 26, respectively 27, the section of which corresponds substantially to the free section of a groove 7 for the projection 27 and two juxtaposed grooves for the projection 26 The distance separating the projections 26 from the projections 27 corresponds to that separating two recessed portions 9 or 10 from two juxtaposed corner pieces 8.
- These attachment elements 25 make it possible in particular to retain one against the other two corner pieces 8. Near each of its ends, the attachment element 25 has a hole 28 allowing, if desired, the passage of a screw.
- Figures 9 and 10 show in plan and, respectively in section along line XX of Figure 9, a fastening element which is constituted by a plate 29, one face of which has a recess 30 whose shape allows it to be engaged on two or four of the projections 15 to 18 of several juxtaposed corner pieces.
- the same face of the plate 29 also has projecting parts 31 having a section allowing their engagement in a part of the grooves 7, respectively 7 '.
- Figure 11 shows how to assemble several panels 1 to form a housing.
- Four panels 41, 42, 43 and 44 are juxtaposed and are held together by plates tightened by a screw passing through the cylindrical passage 45 which is obtained by the juxtaposition of the projecting parts 18 in quarter-round, of the four corner pieces of said panels .
- hooking elements 22 are engaged in the grooves of the edge faces of these panels which are opposite one another and which thus seal the junction. It is clear that according to the dimensions of the housing to be created, it will be possible to assemble for the floor a number of panels 1 greater to that illustrated in the drawing.
- a wall section 46 is formed by two panels 47 and 48 which are placed perpendicularly on the floor, with interposition of fastening elements 22 between the grooves of the lower edge faces of the panels 47 and 48 and a groove 49 of the panel 41 from the floor.
- Another wall section 50 formed by two panels 51 and 52 is also placed perpendicularly on the floor and guided relative to the latter by a hooking element 22 engaged in a groove 53 of this floor, while the two panels 46 and 50 are also guided between them, still by a hooking element 22 introduced into the groove of the edge face of the panel 51 and into the groove 54 of the panel 48.
- the section of the fastening elements 22 in the rest state is larger than the free section of two juxtaposed grooves, so that a fairly large force must be exerted to clamp the two grooves against each other in order to crush the elastomer lining of the hooking elements 22.
- To exert this clamping force it suffices to provide relatively simple tools, of the type of a vice or of a clamp, whose jaws are introduced in two grooves of two neighboring panels, for example in the grooves 55 and 56 of the panels 41 and 42.
- the hooking elements 25 and / or 29 are placed, then the clamping elements are loosened, the elements d 'hooking remaining in position under the effect of the elastic thrust exerted by the elastomer linings.

According to the invention, this result is obtained in accordance with the characterizing part of
The dependent claims relate to preferred embodiments of the invention.
The accompanying drawing shows schematically and by way of example an embodiment of various elements of the game which is the subject of the invention.
Figure 1 is a cross section of a panel.
Figures 2 to 4 show in more detail a corner piece of a panel.
Figure 5 shows part of a component of a panel.
Figure 6 shows in perspective with partial section a hooking element.
Figures 7 and 8 show a second hooking element.
Figures 9 and 10 show from the front and respectively in section a third fastening element.
Figure 11 shows in perspective a panel arrangement for forming a floor and two side walls.
Referring to Figure 1, a
Each
As shown in Figure 3, the
Thanks to the
These projecting parts guide the
As shown in Figure 4, the
It should be noted that with the exception of the corners of the panel where the
It should be noted that the
Figure 6 shows a part of a hooking
Figures 7 and 8 show another
La même face de la plaque 29 présente encore des parties saillantes 31 présentant une section permettant leur engagement dans une partie des rainures 7, respectivement 7'.Figures 9 and 10 show in plan and, respectively in section along line XX of Figure 9, a fastening element which is constituted by a
The section of the
It should be noted that in Figure 11, for convenience of drawing, the panels have been shown much smaller and much thicker than they actually are. In principle, to build a house, we will use panels with a width of around 1 meter and a length of more than 2 meters, while their thickness will be around 6 to 8 cm.

- Set of building elements making it possible to make up several walls assembled together, this set comprising flat rectangular panels (1), each panel (1) having on each of its main faces a groove (7, 7') passing along each of the edges of this face over their entire length, the four edge faces of this panel (1) also having a groove (6') oriented along the length of each of the edge faces over their entire length, the latter grooves (6') being halfway between the edges of the main faces of the panel (1), and removable coupling elements (25) having projecting parts (26, 27) designed to be introduced into the grooves (6', 7') located opposite each other on two contiguous panels in order to assemble them together, characterised in that each groove (7, 7') parallel to an edge of a main face on each panel (1) is connected the corresponding groove (7, 7') located on the other main face of the same panel (1) by two grooves (13, 14) passing across two adjacent edge faces, so that when two panels (1) are juxtaposed through any one of their edge faces, their grooves (13) and/or (14) define a passage permitting the engagement of a projecting part (26, 27) on one of the coupling elements (25), the ends of the edge faces of each panel (1) being connected together by concave cylindrical surfaces (20) in the shape of a quarter circle, so as to provide a circular cylindrical free passage between four panels (1) juxtaposed in the same plane, the four corners of the panels (1) being formed by corner pieces (8) of an overall cubic shape, attached to thin panel (1), each corner piece (8) having hollowed portions, forming the ends of the two grooves (7, 7') on each main face (2, 3), as well as the said two grooves (13, 14) passing across the edge faces.
- Set according to claim 1, characterised in that each panel (1) is formed by two sheets of metal (2, 3) forming its main faces and between which a mass (4) of synthetic resin with a cellular structure is sandwiched, the edges of each sheet (2, 3) having a portion (5) bent in the direction of the other sheet, the bent portions (5) of the two sheets being connected together by trough shaped synthetic resin pieces (6) in order to form the grooves (6') on the edge faces.
- Set according to claim 2, characterised in that each corner piece (8) has projecting parts (15 to 18) defining the hollow portions, each being designed to be engaged between a bent portion (5) of a metal sheet and the external lateral edge of the groove (7) passing along this bent portion.
- Set according to claim 3, characterised in that the corner pieces (8) are hollowed out in order to be able to be filled with the cellular structured resin, at least one of the corner pieces (8) having a hole (19) enabling the resin to be injected inside the panel (1) when it is formed by the two sheets (2, 3) connected by four corner pieces (8).
- Set according to claim 1, characterised in that the coupling elements (22, 25) are in the form of a bar (23) with a substantially rectangular cross section, this bar being covered by an elastomer (24) on two of its opposing large faces and on its two end faces.
- Set according to claim 5, characterised in that the bars (25) have at each end of its large faces which do not have any elastomer a projection (26, 27), directed perpendicular o the plane of the face under consideration, whose cross section corresponds substantially to the open cross section of one or two grooves (7).
- Set according to one of claims 1, 5 or 6, characterized in that coupling elements are formed by a plate (29), one face of which has a hollow (30), the shape of which can be engaged on two or four of the projections which are formed at the corners of the panels by the crossing of two grooves (7) in the main faces, this face of the plate also having projecting parts (31) adjoining the hollow (30), these projecting parts (31) having a cross section enabling them to be engaged in a part of the grooves (7) at the edges of the panels.
