Abstract
It is a vacuum cleaner nozzle (1), which is provided with a locking device between the connecting piece (3) and the nozzle housing (2), both of which are locked together in a certain swivel range in such a way that the two together perform a synchronous swivel movement. The lock can be released after overcoming a spring-loaded locking bolt (7).
Description
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a connecting piece which is pivotally mounted in the nozzle housing.
Such vacuum cleaner nozzles belong to the prior art. A pivotable connection piece is necessary in order to keep the base plate of the vacuum cleaner nozzle parallel to the surface when the vacuum cleaner is being moved back and forth. Furthermore, parts must be able to be sucked under low furniture. To do this, the connected handheld vacuum cleaner or the suction pipe of a cylinder vacuum cleaner must be laid extremely flat. This would not be possible without a swiveling connecting piece.
Since all of these vacuum cleaner nozzles lie close to the surface with their base plate in order to generate a high air speed in the channels customary in the base plate and thus have a favorable influence on the suction result, difficulties arise when vacuuming up coarse dirt particles, which due to their dimensions no longer exist can be sucked through the suction channels.
For this purpose, the vacuum cleaner nozzle with its base plate has to be lifted off the surface, so that the coarse dirt spots have unhindered access to the central suction opening, which is usually arranged in the middle. This is still easy when handling the suction tube of a cylinder vacuum cleaner, but it becomes tedious when a handheld vacuum cleaner is connected. Here the user has to lift the entire weight of the handheld vacuum cleaner in order to lift the vacuum cleaner nozzle with its base plate off the ground.
The object of the invention is now to provide a device on a vacuum cleaner nozzle which makes it possible to vacuum up coarse dirt particles without having to lift the vacuum cleaner nozzle together with the vacuum cleaner.
According to the invention the object is achieved by the features of claim 1.
The invention thus has the advantage that vacuum cleaner nozzles can be provided with a device which makes it possible to vacuum up coarse dirt particles without a connected vacuum cleaner having to be lifted up with great effort.
On the basis of the following description, an exemplary embodiment is drawn and described.

In Fig. 1, a vacuum cleaner nozzle 1 is shown, which has a
From Figures 1 and 2 it can be seen that a
Here the
In order to restore the release for normal use again, the user must e.g. apply a force to the
