Abstract

1. Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Folienüberziehvorrichtung zum Umhüllen von Gütern, insbesondere von auf Paletten gestapelten Gegenständen, mittels eines Folienschlauches, der mit seitlich eingeschlagenen Quetschfalten über eine obere Hauptumlenkrolle zugeführt wird, im Anschluß an welche zwischen die Quetschfalten von beiden Seiten her Trennplatten eingeführt sind und der Folienschlauch mittels an sich gegenüberliegenden Stellen desselben jeweils in dessen Randnähe an einem vertikal bewegbaren Schlitten vorgesehenen Paaren von Klemmbacken ergriffen, gespreizt und über die Güter gezogen wird, wobei zwischen den Trennplatten und der Hauptumlenkrolle Sensoren auf die Kantenlage des Folienschlauches ansprechen und letzteren mit seinen seitlichen Rändern in den Bereich der Trennplatten steuern.The invention relates to a film covering device for wrapping goods, in particular objects stacked on pallets, by means of a film tube, which is fed with pinched folds on the side via an upper main deflection roller, following which separating plates are inserted between the pinch folds from both sides and the film tube is gripped, spread and pulled over the goods by means of pairs of clamping jaws provided on opposite sides thereof on a vertically movable carriage, the sensors between the separating plates and the main deflection roller responding to the edge position of the film tube and the latter with its lateral side Control edges in the area of the dividing plates.

Eine derartige Folienüberziehvorrichtung ist nach der DE-OS-3 011 264.2 bekannt. Die Trennplatten finden hierbei oberhalb von den Folienschlauch zu den Klemmbacken fördernden Walzen Anwendung, so daß der Folienschlauch elektrostatisch entladen wird und nicht mehr zusammenkleben kann. Die Klemmbacken sind als jeweils zwei Paare einander gegenüberliegend angeordnet, so daß sie sich mit ihren am Folienschlauch anliegenden Flächen gegeneinander abzustützen vermögen. Sie sind, während sie sich aneinander abstützen, auch noch bezüglich ihrer einzelnen Klemmbacken gegeneinander verfahrbar, so daß dann der Folienschlauch zwischen die einander zugekehrten Quetschflächen jedes Klemmbackenpaares gelangt und schließlich in der Endlage der Klemmbacken festgeklemmt wird. Somit setzt die Anwendbarkeit der Klemmbacken einerseits einen hohen Reibungswiderstand zwischen ihnen und den anliegenden Flächen des Folienschlauches voraus, und andererseits muß der Folienschlauch mit seinen einander zugekehrten Flächen der Quetschfalten sehr gute Gleiteigenschaften besitzen. Die Gleiteigenschaften können durch entsprechende Beschichtungen hergestellt werden, jedoch ist es schwierig, sie auf die Bereiche der Quetschfalten zu begrenzen, so daß es oft auch im Bereich der beabsichtigten hohen Reibungswiderstände gegenüber den Klemmbacken zum unbeabsichtigten Gleiten kommt, wobei die Folie nicht mehr umfaßt wird. Voraussetzung ist dabei, daß die Kantenlage des Folienschlauches auf die Trennplatten ausgerichtet ist. Zu diesem Zweck sprechen die Sensoren auf die Kantenlage des Folienschlauches an und steuern letzteren in die vorgesehene Mittellage. Da sich die erwähnte Anordnung jedoch unmittelbar unterhalb der Hauptumlenkrolle befindet, können nur begrenzte Lageabweichungen im erwähnten Sinne erfaßt werden.Such a film covering device is known from DE-OS-3 011 264.2. Die Notwendigkeit, Gleitmittel auf die Folien aufzubringen, wird durch den Vorschlag nach der deutschen nicht vorveröffentlichten Patentanmeldung P-3 422 027.5 weitgehend behoben, indem hiernach die Blätter der Quetschfalten des Folienschlauches zwischen Klemmbacken und schulterartigen Abschnitten der Trennplatten fixiert werden, woraufhin die dabei gebildeten Falten von weiteren Klemmbacken gegen die zuerst bewegten Klemmbacken gepreßt werden. Unter Einschluß dieser Falten werden sodann die geschlossenen Klemmbackenpaare auseinandergefahren und spreizen dabei den Folienschlauch im erforderlichen Maße auf. Unbeeinflußt hiervon ist indes, daß Lageabweichungen des Folienschlauches nur begrenzt ausgeglichen werden, so daß der zuverlässige Angriff der Klemmbacken hierdurch beeinträchtigt ist. Hinzu kommt, daß mit Rücksicht auf die geforderte Sicherheit von den Klemmbacken verhältnismäßig breite Randzonen eingeklemmt gehalten werden müssen, die sich beim späteren vollständigen Aufspreizen mittels Spreizfingern nur noch erschwert voll spannen lassen, und daß der Folienschlauch schließlich mit einem größeren Umfang über den Gutstapel gezogen wird als erforderlich.The need to apply lubricant to the foils is largely eliminated by the proposal according to German unpublished patent application P-3 422 027.5, in which the leaves of the pinch folds of the foil tube are fixed between the jaws and shoulder-like sections of the separating plates, whereupon the folds formed in the process be pressed against the first moved jaws by further jaws. Vom einleitend dargestellten Stand der Technik ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Weiterentwicklung dahingehend vorzunehmen, daß sowohl Lageabweichungen der zugeführten Folienschläuche als auch unmittelbare Maßabweichungen derselben in größerem Umfang als bislang zugelassen werden können, ohne daß dabei die Gefahr besteht, daß die Schlauchkanten von den Klemmbacken nicht hinreichend erfaßt werden. Dabei soll auch sichergestellt werden, daß nicht mehr Randbreite von den Klemmbacken erfaßt werden muß, als es unumgänglich erforderlich ist, so daß die Folienhaubenweitgehend maßgerecht über die gestapelten Güter geführt werden können. Die Folienhaube soll dabei auch mittels des Spreizfingers völlig straff gehalten werden. Die Verwendung des in vertikaler Richtung bewegbaren Einstellwagens ermöglicht es gemeinsam mit der Klemmeinrichtung, daß der Folienschlauch aus einer oberen Greifstellung bis in eine untere Stellung gefördert werden kann, in der die Klemmbacken auf den Folienschlauch einwirken. Dabei läuft der Folienschlauch über die Hauptumlenkrolle ab. Aus Gründen der Maß-und Lageabweichungen ist es unvermeidlich, daß der Folienschlauch hierbei mehr oder weniger verläuft. Dies ist auf die Länge einer einzelnen, im Anschluß an den Einstellwagen vorzunehmenden Abschneidung für eine Folienhaube noch nicht besonders störend, jedoch würde der Verlauf des Folienschlauches, wenn er nicht korrigiert wird, bei sich anschließenden Hauben beträchtlich stören. Die Erfindung ermöglicht nun bei geöffneter Klemmeinrichtung, während der Einstellwagen von unten nach oben zurückkehrt, eine Neueinstellung des Einstellwagens auf die Folienmitte, indem die von den Sensoren angezeigten Signale für die Steuerung der Horizontalbewegung des Einstellwagens verwendet werden. Die Horizontalbewegung muß daher im Ausmaß der Lageabweichungen sowie der Maßabweichungen des Folienschlauches sichergestellt sein. Sofern dann in der äußersten Höhenlage erneut unter ähnlichen Voraussetzungen eine wirkungsvolle Korrektur des Verlaufs des Folienschlauches vorgenommen wird, ist von Vorteil, daß dann ebenfalls eine größere Länge des Folienschlauches besteht, indem die Hilfsumlenkrolle in der äußersten Höhenlage des Einstellwagens die Hauptumlenkrolle überragt. Sofern die Signalfahne 9 im Bereich beider ortsfester Schalter 10 steht, geht von letzteren kein Steuerimpuls für den Horizontalantrieb 11 aus. Sowie dies geschieht, ist die Steuerung in der Horizontalverstellung 11 mittels der Sensoren 15 zwecks Ausrichtung des Folienschlauches frei. Figur 4 zeigt demgemäß einen bei geöffneter Klemmeinrichtung 5 hochgefahrenen Einstellwagen 4, der dabei in Richtung des Doppelpfeiles 25 beweglich ist. A device as claimed in claim 1, wherin the adjustment carriage (4) is provided with a signal emitter (9) effective to stationary switches (10) controlling a horizontal drive (11) of the adjustment carriage (4) in its uppermost position so that the adjustment carriage (4) is in its mean position relative to the main deflectingroller (7).
3. A device as claimed in the claims 1 and 2, wherein,
the clamping device (5) comprises clamping jaws (8) capable of being urged towards the separating plates (1).
4. A device as claimed in the claims 1 to 3, comprising,
a further switch (13) responsive to the uppermost position (Figur 6) of the adjustment carriage (4) by which switch (13) the control of the horizontal drive (11) in the uppermost position of the adjustment carriage (4) is reversable from the sensors (2) to the stationary switches (10).
5. A device as claimed in the claims 1 to 4, wherein,
the horizontal drive (11) of the adjustment carriage (4) is capable of being controlled by the sensors (3) in an upper position (Figur 4) of the adjustment carriage (4) with the opened clamping device (3) being within the phase between the lower position (Figur 3) and an upper position below its uppermost position (Figur 7).
6. A device as claimed in claim 5,
characterized by
a switch (14) detecting said phase between said lower and said upper position for switching on the control effected by the sensors (2).
